I bought this to replace a Lexar 64GB that failed after a year hoping Kingston would live up to its name. The read speed is superior to the Lexar, but write speeds is hideous. ~100Mb/s read, ~16MB/s write. |

As I was saying on another review, I bought 6 USB 3.0 sticks: 2 from Kingston and 4 from Corsair (all 32GB USB3.0).The Kingstons were more stable, more reliable, faster at read and writes. They have clearly outclassed Corsair's.I've used them for Ubuntu, storage, Windows install ... they have never failed.They have truly sustained the test of time (well, for 10 months anyway). |

Have tried everything with this USB flash drive, but write speed is HORRIBLE, not even reaching 1mb/sec. The value for storage is good, but the speed makes it a pretty inferior product. Rather disappointed. |

well priced but it sure is slow. Apparently newer revisions are better but the one I have is disappointingly slow. It is quite reliable so if you are looking for a cheap reliable usb drive that doesn't have to be super fast it will do the job. |
