I wanted to have the all digital connection between my new Samsung LED monitor (which has one HDMI, DVI-D, svga etc) & my old-ish eVGA 8800GT (which has dual DVI- out).At first I got a cable warning but just touched monitor menu & it was quickly recognized & all working.Decided to use this rather than a hdmi-dvi cable to save the hdmi for something else. It's a pretty good DVI cable overall... it does the job and on budget. It is bulky nonetheless. Recommended for those who don't like VGA cables and want a cheap DVI. |
A good cable, does the job, seems very sturdy/strong, but at full price, I would say not. Wait for a sale price, very worth it. I got it for 6 bucks.
