Pros: much more space than bags of the same size. Comment:
Use this bag for carrying my laptop to the office. Also carry all my IT tools in it (network crimper/tester, screwdriver, serial-to-usb, etc...) Basically almost anything when i'm dispatch on a networking job.After close to two years, the main zipper jammed on the inner liner, making it not zip well. Afterwhile the zipper finally de-railed rendering the bag useless.I contacted Everki support and they replace the bag with proof of purchase and pictures of the problem area/serial. Really happy with this bag. |

Cons: Bottom is NOT rugged. I'm on my second bag

After 6 months, the bottom had started to wear. During my ninth month of ownership, they agreed to replace it. I wish the bottom was more "rugged" as I place mine on the floor when I go on the bus. |

I've had my backpack for about a week now and it is way better than anyother backpack I have owned. The zippers are quite strong, so you dont have to worry about busting one if you are always filling this backpack to the brim (if you even have that much stuff to put in it!). |

Just bought the Asus G75VX along with Everki Beacon...And that backpack doesn't fit init.I think that Everki or NCIX should make a note about it that this backpack is not for the Asus G75 and G74 Series.So people could purchase the right thing at first.But overall its a really great backpack if you have a simple 17 inch laptop. Have lots of room its definitely a good pick for gadget lovers Who loves to carry around a lot of stuff like ipads, tablets or even gaming consoles. And its also really comfortable to wear. |

I got this bag for $54.99 on sale for my boyfriend. The first one he got started to fray at the main zipper edge and straps and my mom helped fix it temporarily, but other parts started to fall apart. However, we contacted Everki about it, they were totally awesome, best customer service I've had in ages. They fully replaced the bag and sent it within a day shipping no charge, no fuss. Just proof of receipt and pictures of the bag code and it's done. Overall very roomy and comfy, can fit lots of things. Very impressed. Will recommend the bag for sure. |

Pros: - Sexiest backpack alive.- Fits 4 bulky external drives and some books in the provided "console case" - static-proof so the drives don't get damaged in transport!- Fit literally everything portable and electronic I was bringing- Secret compartments in the places you'd least expect it.- Front pouch can double as a front-loading or top-loading, with the ability to swing down as far as 180-degrees to load stuff into.- Comfortable to carry - even though I only carried it for maybe 3 hours total, it was by far the comfiest three hours ever. I've used many other backpacks made for "long-term use", and every single one of them hurt me. Not this time!- Black liner outside, Orange liner inside. You really can't lose with that kind of combination.- Registration for Lifetime warranty is actually REALLY FREAKIN' EASY - save the tags and register online, simple as that.--- Limited Lifetime warranty means you really can't go wrong. I recently moved to New York. Not wanting to bring a bulky-ass laptop bag with me, I opted for this Everki Beacon (that's what it's called on their site). Unfortunately, a G74SX-XC1 (bought from NCIX in October 2011) does not fit in the "dedicated laptop compartment", but fits easily and without hassle in the main compartment (funny how that works, but whatever).This is by far the most awesome bag I've ever bought. I've always been a fan of Targus, Patagonia, MEC, Swiss and all that, but Everki is by far made by gamers, for gamers - kind of like Razer or SteelSeries, except this one doesn't lie to you or sell you crap you don't need at ridiculous prices.I snagged this baby for $60 on December 19th - while it arrived before Christmas, I was unable to receive it because I was at work. Nonetheless, this has the best design (secret pockets EVERYWHERE - which is useful as hell when you travel and want to keep ne'er-do-wells from pickpocketing you) and the most comfort for the cheapest price. I felt at ease knowing that even if I dropped the backpack heavily, my laptop and peripherals (including my Corsair Vengeance 1500 gaming headset, whose review is on the respective NCIX page) were well protected.The external hard drives survived the 1500km journey through baggage - surprisingly the bag is static and bump-proof - who'd have known?Well designed and engineered, you can tell they put some thought into this. I'd recommend this to any portable gamer with a big-ass laptop like myself. Apparently fits G73 easily, but definitely won't do a G75 unless the main compartment is bigger than I thought - better off to go with an Everki Titan if you want bigger. |

Seeing all the good reviews for this and that it was on sale for a decent price I bought it. As soon as it arrived and I saw it up close, I regretted my decision.It looked pretty good from the pictures and videos, but now I see that the texture isn't as I thought it was. Its bulky shape and 100% synthetic cheap-looking shell material makes it somewhat ugly actually.Granted, its meant for ease when carrying big gaming laptops and consoles to LAN parties and what not, so I shouldn't have expected much in terms of appearance, but they do claim it to be "stylish".It is however, as all the other reviews mention, comfortable, and good for carrying my rather heavy and expensive 17'' work laptop. Definitely not worth the regular price though. |

Bags with this much storage and versatility usually have inadequate straps and cause discomfort. These ones look more than comfortable.My last msi I ordered from ncix started having issues after transporting it in bad weather, so this may have saved a rather large investment.The compartments look well planned and designed, the console sleeve is genius. To be honest, I never owned an Everki Beacon Backpack. But I can vouch for its quality because my best friend has one and I often borrow it whenever I go out of town. Basically the 3 months duration of ownership I inputted is the sum of the time I borrowed the bag. I can't see the downside in a backpack like this, it's comfortable and durable. It achieves its purpose pretty well. What I want to improve on it right now is that they offer customizable color schemes, I don't know if they offer one already because I haven't researched on it. |
