Cons: Wonky fan mounting system

Pros: Inaudible at idle loads, large fan with low rpms, looks decent, solidly built, keeps my CPU fresh and chilled
Comment:
I was debating between air vs liquid for my new rig. I have a high rate of bad luck in my life regarding things that fail and break on me for no reason so I chose to go the old-fashioned air cooled route. I was debating between this and a highly rated Noctua tower cooler. This one was 1/2 the price of the Noctua and seemed to be a new model (a bit larger than the old version).I spent about 30 minutes installing this, the rubber mounts that holds the fan in place is not the greatest solution IMO, it is a pain to install (you have to slide it between fins). I had to check youtube videos to get an idea, the instructions provided little help.My i5 4690K at stock speeds stays at 28 degrees at idle and with a slight overclock n 4.1 gHz hovers around 29-31 degrees. The fan is virtually silent at these speeds. I tried a CPU torture test for about 10 minutes, temperature climbed about at 48-52 degrees quickly but the fan kicked into high speed instanlty. it is still decently quiet but I could hear something was going on in the case. For the price paid, it is certainly a great buy and seems to get the job done. You get silence and efficiency at low cost.

Comment:
This is an amazing cooler. Not just good looking but a real performer. I got a FX-6300 overclocked to a modest 4.0ghz and my temps never go over 50C even under full load. This cooler is quiet but really stands out in my case. The only downsize of this cooler could be the size depending on your case configuration. I put mine in the Antec 1100 v1.0 and had enough room but if you have a smaller case you might want to dry fit this first. Other than that this is a perfect cooler for large cases. Would recommend to anyone with the space to fit it in.
