Cons: None so far.

Pros: Solid hardware. Well built and well hardened for outdoor use. Easy set-up.
Comment:
This is my first time with EnGenius products. I am an IT professional (retired) so I have practical installation experience. Of course, I was expecting the usual finger trouble and non-familiarity issues which often make this projects with new hardware run longer than anticipated - but that didn't happen. This is good equipment.I am extending my small home network out to about 1/2 kilometer and so this repeater coupled to an EnGenius Wireless Access Point/Client Bridge (EOC2611P) is my configuration. It all came together with absolutely no problems. It works well in my local test set-up. I am waiting for the 2 antenna to arrive and then I will move the EOC2611P out to the field.

Cons: Software may not be a fan favorite for some, but I work with wireless towers for a living, so not big deal. Can be considered a con or pro depending on what you want, but radio 1 requires an external antennae in order to use both radios.

Pros: 2 independent radios capable of both using 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. You choose which band you want to use on which radio, or use the same band on both (2.4 on one radio, and 2.4 on the other for example). Great mixed mode device. Integrated 6 dbi simulated omni for one of the radios.
Comment:
Overall I have never had any issues with any Engenius product, they are truly well built. I recommend these to anyone looking for a multi function AP/SM. They are able to support 30 different wireless configurations, although I only ever use 3 lol.
