Came with DVI, VGA, and HDMI cables. The speakers are about the same as what you get on a clock radio. But the image is very bright and very crisp, no complaints at all for the price ($160). Glossy bezel and control surfaces look very classy, and the touch controls work fine. |

Got this on one of the weekly sales for a good price. It was for a friend's build that was just for surfing/video use, and it does the job adequately. (He's really happy switching from a 17" old crt.) Only trouble was setting it up for hdmi, as it wouldn't display via that connection until I'd switched it over. (ie. Didn't auto-detect.) |

contrast in dark scenes is not perfect especially on low brightness settings.
Pros: bright as hell. no dead pixels. 3 inputs with 3 cables. decent power conservation. quick brighness switching. Comment:
I have brightness set at 5/100, contrast 20/100 for normal daytime use. That's still on the bright side for text at night. Its easy to switch to one of 4 other brighter presets for video/graphics.great value |

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I haven't known Acer to be the best brand, especially in monitors, however this has been serving me quite well. The built in speakers are handy. I likely won't use them much, but if I have to take my set up somewhere, speakers will be one less thing I have to take with me. My only real complaint with this is that it doesn't seem to respond quickly to start up, meaning that the monitor does not display anything until well after the BIOS prompt has passed. Chances are, if you are in the BIOS, you know when to press [del] anyway, but still annoying. |

i thought this was a great buy amazing quality of colours and resolution. the added bonus is having speakers so i don't have to splurge on a set although it's not meant for a stereo replacement..i know samsung is highly rated and i have never owned one but i think the quality of this for what i need it for will suit me fine |

For the price it is a great HD 1080p display, I use it with my PS3 and PC and it looks great. The touch bottons are a nice feature as well as the HDMI/DVI/VGA. Would definately reccomend. |

This is the first review I have done for a product even though I have purchased many from NCIX. I purchased this to replace a 19" Samsung and I have been very impressed with the Acer H233H display, to say the least. The screen width is just right at 1920x1080 resolution. I am powering this display with an ATI Radeon 4850.The LCD allows me to have two full sized browser windows open at the same time which is great. I loaded up Windows 7 with the slideshow background flipping through a bunch of 1920x1080 wallpapers and every picture looks super crisp and the colors are great.This LCD has made me want to go out a purchase a better camera so that I can have my own great widescreen pictures to view.I bought this after reading a few Acer H233H review sites and a video on YouTube about it. the quality of the video is excellent!! i'm using it with my ps3 right now, its very nice. the only down side to the monitor is sound, the built in speakers are bad. but you dont really get a monitor for its sound quality so its not that big of a deal. either way this monitor is great and a definit chose if your on a budget |

Simply put this monitor is amazing. Absolutely flawless. The HDMI port is very nice to have. I haven't used it myself so I'm not sure how well the built in speakers sound. From what I have read here they are rather quite poor (thus it only gets a 4 for features even though I don't use them or plan to. Just think its silly to have HDMI built in and have poor sound output...a waste really) If your looking for a new monitor look no further. Quality to price ratio it doesn't get any better then this. |

Perfect for programming, would have loved to have 2, but reconsidered after seeing how large this screen is. Might purchase another one at some point since it is very good for plugin my xbox and it has integrated sound. Beware, integrated sound is not that loud at maximum. |

I ordered it on Wed. and it got to my house on Thurs morning! That is by far the fastest shipping I've ever experienced. The monitor is WAY better than I initially expected. Three reasons to purchase this right away: 1. 1080p/ Full HD (HDMI cable included) 2. 40,000:1 Contrast Ratio! 3. Piano Black Finish with Touch buttons! The low price got me worried about the quality but I was wrong. This IS, hands down, the best monitor in the market for the price. There was one little problem though. There was a stuck pixel on mine. I'm working on fixing it but if it doesn't work I can just return it. But no, seriously.. buy this now, you'll thank me later ;) Thanks(once again) for such an awesome deal. 5* for shipping! |

Bought this monitor to use with xbox360 as a much cheapter HD alternative than buying a flatscreen TV. Great image quality, only thing that would make this 100% perfect is an audio out connection to plug in speakers directly to the monitor. |

I couldn't believe the brightness and clearity this monitor has! I had to get a second one! ...And a 36 Month Warranty! You just can't lose with a deal like this. All cables supplied so you wont have to race out and get extra's to use it... The only set back to owning one of these is; it will make your TV and other LCD's look dull by comparison! When it comes to this Monitor - why buy one, when you can get two at twice the price! |

This monitor awesome was very easy to setup out of the box, what makes it an even better deal is it comes with all the cables you would need. HDMI DVI and VGA! You can hookup your Xbox360 via HDMI and connect 2 computers via the VGA and DVI ports, and toggle between them! The only thing that does not make this monitor perfect is no headphone jack. Other than that I can't find any problem with it. |

Screen quality is excellent (which is really what you're looking for in a monitor). It has all three major port types (VGA, DVI, HDMI) and a fast and simple to use input switch. Only feature missing is a headphone jack, for anyone using it to play console games or watch TV and doesn't want to use the tinny speakers, you're going to need separate cords in order to use headphones. |
