Effectively my roommate has the exact same ram, just the ddr3 version, and I purchased this ram to attempt to ressurect my old computer that I believed had faulty ram. Nevertheless when attempting this new ram I realized the mobo was just dead. I would've kept em if I wasn't arranging on obtaining a ddr3 motherboard next. G.Ability Wonderful brand. Not DDR3. but there is a version for that so this isn't a con.

None so far! I can safely say I will never ever get this brand once more, whether it is RAM or any other hardware. My final critique Gskill truly responded sending me to a hyperlink for RMA. The information on the hyperlink for RMA is very confusing and makes no sense whatsoever, it seriously feels as if it had been constructed by a kid. They say to fill out an RMA request, however; there are 2 different ones and it does not specify which one to use. Always spend a bit far more and go with Important. I learned the difficult way by trying to save a couple of bucks, it was NOT worth the hassle. I will Never acquire GSKILL again! I gave it one particular star only simply because they do not have an option for Ŕ" stars. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerThe RMA page is pretty straight forward. If you live inside the United States of America, basically use the USA RMA Request Form. If you live anyplace else apart from the United States of America, just use the General RMA Request Type. If you have any additional concerns, please feel totally free to contact our RMA division straight and they will glad to help you. Effortless to set up on an SLI motherboard. The extended setup data on the memory sticks automatically sets the clocks and latencies to the right values. Just go into the BIOS, turn the SLI setting to Ŕ% Overclock", and presto! The board automatically recognizes the memory as "SLI Prepared" and changes anything for you. High functionality memory. Timings are greater than typical. All MemTests passed various occasions suitable out of the box. Don't fully grasp why it calls for such a high voltage. I'm thinking of getting a different 1 of these to complement my existing 2GB.

perfectly good RAM. does what it's suppose to do. enormous overall performance boost in gaming more than my old 533 mhz RAM.operating with four-4-four-12 timings at 900 mhz with 2.08 voltage. they can clock higher, but i don't want to wear them down faster. none i would have gotten DDR3 if my mobo supported that sort. i have these paired with 2 other sticks by corsair (same form)... no dilemma at all.

Works good with gigabyte ma78lm-s2h motherboard and quad 630. Runs 򜠪mhz. just up volts to two.1v and change ram multiplier. stable all day long. It could be significantly less costly. 63 for two gigs in April 2010 IF over clocking is what you want these will do the trick. must run ﴠmhz then you can get 25% a lot more speed out of your processor. got my x4 630 up to three.5ghz from two.8ghz. Pime95 stable. tweak the volts and drop HT and NB a notch down.they are still over the 2000mhz. most 800mhz ram wont hit 1000mhz stable. did not attempt to go larger. I'm positive they will if i attempt. when in 1066 mode can only get about a 5% over clock.Maintain in thoughts the motherboard is a 60 dollar board and is awesome. motherboard does assistance 1200mhzOC. This is my third buy of this brand, initially 2 were the red pc6400. This is the very best pc8500 ddr2 ram i have had the pleasure to play with yet. functions super on am3 processors and am3 ready motherboards.memory controller is in the processor. G.skill has won me more than. Can't wait to attempt their ddr3 on my subsequent create. if you are a gamer this is what you want. got 15290 3dmarks on 06 with a 9800gt 512 low energy card. that's great score for the low $ spent on develop. Try it.

Low cost and quick (for DDR2 anyway).Performs wonderful with my ASUS P5G41-M Motherboard. Uncomplicated set up, uncomplicated to clock to 1066 (although I suppose I haven't run a tester to confirm it's in fact running that speed, nevertheless, runs seriously rapid and smooth). If you've got a 64-bit OS, this just isn't sufficient ram to start to attain your system's accurate prospective. Nonetheless excellent for these of us who are nonetheless toying with XP.

Runs at DDR1066, as lengthy as you use the right voltage. Seems to have fairly great longevity (better than some high priced RAM I've had). I found if I run it among DDR800 and 1066 (like for overclocking your CPU), I had to lower the voltage or it triggered stability problems (the "auto" setting on my motherboard used the DDR1066 voltage even at like 850-900mhz). Overclockers ought to know how to adjust their RAM voltage even though, and that's the only time I ran in to that problem. I've had 2x1GB sticks of this for more than 2 years, and purchased an additional 2x1GB not too long ago. This was my very first memory (or any item) from G.Ability, but I've been impressed so far. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientThank you for your G.Talent purchase and assessment. Glad to hear the memory is performing effectively and up to par with far more high priced memory. This is widespread as G.Ability provides the best memory at the lowest costs. This is a common kit as many use this kit to operate DDR2-800 to 900 with CL4 timings. The outcomes can be greater than DDR2-1066 CL5 on some platforms. With reduced frequency and timings, significantly less pressure and heat is placed on the memory controller when nonetheless preserving the efficiency of the memory.Thank youGSKILL HelpTop quality and buyer service are our best priorities.Tech Assistance E mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Great top quality and exceptional G.ability tech help. Fast and adaptable. non. Excellent memory I have both G.talent and OCZ 1066 memory. While the OCZ has superior timings the G.ability tech assistance walked me by way of the memory configuration on my KN92 Platinum. I necessary to place the G.talent in DIMM three and 4 in order for the G.talent memory to adjust its timings to match the OCZ timings. By performing this the all round bandwidth is 1066 MHz and the timings match the OCZ ticks. All is nicely. Thanks G.ability.

Genuinely rapid memory - Fantastic for the value, Steady at numerous frequencies... You much better be prepared to configure... 1066 ddr2 doesnt function out the box like that, it demands some significant research, and some time to get it set just appropriate. Should come with a warning I am content with the buy. So satisfied, I purchased one more set to double my pleasure. Nevertheless waiting on that to arrive... And this time I didnt spend for the UPS shipping (got the egg saver), and it seems that was a mistake. I guess Im just anxious. Ill assessment the next pair when it gets right here... I nonetheless have alot to discover even though - Hold in thoughts you will discover several mixed evaluations about what you are obtaining. Some say up the voltage and multiplier, others say retain it at 1.8 and run at 800 for faster speed. I say do what feels ideal and stick with it. Im at present running at 1066 and my voltage is @ two.1, but I may possibly adjust it around when I get four gigs total - see what runs fastest. But for now, its excellent! Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Ability obtain and assessment. This memory package is above the JEDEC regular (DDR2-800), so manual settings will be essential to operate properly. The rated specifications are DDR2-1066, 5-five-5-15, two.10V, but for some systems with a weak memory controller, it could be more valuable to operate DDR2-800, 4-four-four-12, 2.0V. This causes much less stress to the memory controller, and along with lower timings, these settings may possibly be greater than the rated. If you have any further concerns or problems, please feel absolutely free to speak to us straight and we will gladly assist you.Thank youGSKILL AssistanceQuality and consumer service are our top rated priorities.Tech Help Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/
