fantastic, fast adequate, don't generate a lot of heat bios default timing, no noticable overall performance adjust at all right after upgrading to 8GB i 1st had 4 GB of this kit and worked nicely with no changing the timing in bios (which was set by default to 9-9-9-24), later i bought an additional kit to add to my rig for a total of 8GB nonetheless this time i changed the timing to as advertised 8-eight-eight-21 and set command rate to 1t..... had two memeory dump blue screens in 1 week, my windows now took longer to log in from welcome screen to windows and the heat enhanced by four C (running at 40C). decided to transform back to default at 9-9-9-24. now my pc is runing cooler ࿃C) login time decreased considerably (from eight sec to 1 or two seconds) haven't encountered any errors so far. can't test all sticks collectively because memtest86 hangs at 5% when testing 8GB or additional (my initial 4GB kit had no errors at all when tested).my config: gigabyte 790gx MOBO8GB Gskill F3-10666CL8-4GBHKamd phenom II x4 945corrsair h50xfx ati 57703 case fans + 2 CPU fans Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerGlad to hear the memory is functioning nicely in your method. It performs. I got mine operating at eight-eight-8-21 and a Tweaked 1T Command Price. Good RAM Sticks None that i've discovered yet Cool Packaging. Even luckier i got a package with a sticker. I study that they stopped supplying stickers with the memory packages. Easy adequate to install. |

The memory is functioning properly. I just place in another four GBs (total of 8GBs) and there is a noticeable distinction in speed and efficiency. Recognized by the mobo at eight-eight-eight-21 following setting the OC Tuner to XMP. Buy 8GB's, it is worth it. Purchased this to use with my GA-890FXA-UD5 board and no regrets. G.Skill had on their QVL list for this board and they had been correct once more! Board posted instantly with Ƒ) stick and then added the second after the OS was installed. For some reason AMD boards are quite steady at 1333 and that's quick sufficient for me. It works just fine. I have noticed no troubles in practically 2 years of usage. Runs rapidly. Lowish price. They don't begin out at 1333 you have to manually set them at that worth Owned 1 2x2GB kit for a year. Just bought yet another set. Ran memtest with all 4 chips in slot with errors. |

It just operates good so far. Uncomplicated set up on my initial total build. Immediately after reading the other evaluations I immidiately went into my bios and manually set timings to eight-eight-eight-21. Motherboard had set it to 9-9-9-24. Seams rapidly and no hickups yet. I'm satisfied. None yet. Component of what sold me on G.Ability is the truth that they are concerned adequate about buyer satisfaction that they have a rep who hangs out right here and responds to peoples problems. Operates with GA-MA770TUxx Series and AMD Propus 630 2.eight processor. Gskill appears to be the very best ram for the buck in my book. Was not steady @ 1.5v at advertised timings. Had to boost voltage to 1.6v, then was steady at eight-eight-eight-21 with 1T. It is tough to get all ram to operate with all setups. If you are developing a machine from parts, Analysis what you are purchasing! Run Memtest 86+ for at least three-five hours and if it passes that, load your OS. If you OS loads, run prime95 on blend to see if items are stable. |

-Excellent price tag-Good top quality-It performs The auto-detected timings situation. I was forewarned and prepared by evaluations here, but my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-MA770T-XXX) demands you to set sophisticated timings manually along with simple timings. I looked up GSkill's forums and located a list of advanced timings one particular of their techs had posted there. Fairly blue color of heat spreader, 1 stick functions as advertised. 1 stick does not operate and creates blue screen in windows 7. Incredibly frustrating when ram is negative out of the box when developing/upgrading program for others. I have ordered a lot hardware with Newegg, so shall hope rma procedure is as excellent as ordering, which is A+. -every bit as good as my final kit.-performing perfectly-plug & play simplicity (credit to my M4A89GTD PRO/USB3-Runs just fine filling out all four of my DIMM slots-adore the heat spreader None so far as efficiency goes. I don't overclock my hardware though. 2600Mhz HT is the only "overclocking" I have done on my board. Operating two of these kits for a 8GB. I let my board choose the timings, but did set the command price to 1T. I won't be upgrading till 2nd gen Bulldozer hits, but my most recent upgrades really should retain my flying along in all my tasks and games.
