Worked correct away with asus p7p55d-e lx. overclocked nicely, as well, no problems, extremely stable. none. Kinda wish I'd spent a small a lot more on the ddr3 1600 with 7ms latency, but I'm quite content with these. 5th set of GSkill ram in a row.

-Got 2 sets of these.-They look great.-So far they run good.-1.5v isn't reserved for Intel, or their Sandy Bridge systems, as these are in an all AMD rig. Took off an egg not for the chips, but for the shipping. I had pointed out I got two sets of these. They had been ordered separately, and luckily the shipping was free of charge, otherwise I may have taken off one more egg, but anyway... NewEgg's Egg Saver is horrendous. Both times this package got shipped to me from a warehouse a small over an hour away and each times these factors have taken four+ DAYS to get to me. Granted it says 4-7 days for shipping, but seriously? Not quite positive I understand the "logistics" there (oops that's UPS). Says they're acquiring shipped DHL, but the USPS delivers them. The USPS in my practical experience is maybe the single worse shipper to use on this planet. Or maybe its since the USPS just doesn't like me, 'cause they lost a laptop, 2 birthday cards (no money), and three Christmas gifts over the years. I do not trust them any longer and its a shame that NewEgg chooses to make use of their services. I'm sorry that I really feel like this, but they brought it upon themselves. Both the USPS & NewEgg From now on I'll be avoiding the Egg Saver solution like its the plague. I'd rather invest the handful of additional bucks. Hindsight is 20ተ. This ram works good. I know it was developed for Sandy Bridge systems, but a buddy of mine talked me into providing it a shot in my AMD 1090T X6 technique and I'm not disappointed. G.Skill is surely living up to it's rep as a good quality organization. The fins one the sticks are a stunning red metallic. The image for the advert here does not do it justice. I ordered 2 sets, 4 sticks total, and out of 4 a whooping two sticks are defective, 50% DOA Rate... talking about excellent control...G.Skill states that each stick has been tested before going out, sounds bull s to me. These modules function, appear, and feel great. Plugging them in couldn't have been simpler unless they installed themselves.I got these on sale and they were the cheapest eight gig set at the time. The tall heatsink design and style didn't play good with the cables in my mini-ITX technique. Of course that's completely my fault for not finding low profile modules like I must have, but I got them in there......ultimately. I've heard lots of fantastic issues about this brand so I believed I'd ultimately attempt them out. I'll almost certainly stick with them for future buy because my final two orders of ram had sticks that were DOA.

other thoughts other thoughts oh also for some reason on my motherboard, asus m4a785 evo, I cannot get memtest86 version three.five to run correctly with both of these sticks inserted at any clock rate. three.four gave them all a 100 percent pass no failures along with my motherboard and the make in windows memory scanner. so i do not know if this is a dilemma with metest86 v3.five or if its a mobo situation or what.

The stick of ram that worked, worked fantastic One of the Ram sticks was DOA. Its funny how they say on the package that they have tested the Ram but when you get it, its DOA.
