I ordered an additional set for a total of 16gb. They plugged suitable in and have been detected in XMP like the other individuals. I'm used to obtaining to make adjustments to the memory controller's voltage when totally populating memory slots to accomplish correct timings and speeds. I did not have to that this time and all four dimms are operating perfectly. I didn't order them with the hefty promo code offered suitable now, but the Egg came by way of and helped me out on that. I am more impressed just about every time I order G.Skill RAM. They just function and do so with tight timings and low voltage. They appear to be making use of far better ICs than other manufacturers. I also like the heatsink design and style employed, as it has the custom make look even though not being over-the-top. This is good RAM.

Higher quality, quick. Superb G.Talent buyer help when creating the acquire decision, their assistance to verified it would meet or beat the overall performance of the memory I was replacing. none hence far. Bought to replace 4x2GB G.Skill 1333 sticks. Have attempted with two other 2x4GB kits (one G.Talent, a single Corsair), but neither could meet the very same efficiency level as the older 1333 memory. This pair met and exceeded... permitted me to get an additional 𞳸mhz out of my processor (i7 860)...without having overclocking the memory, rising voltages or minimizing memory timings. Spot-on G.Ability, retain up the fantastic function.

- Very good hunting blue heat spreaders, not tall & intrusive at all, matches with blue interior of ASUS P8P67 boards- CPU-Z states they are operating at eight-8-eight-24-2T (XMP) -none so far some information:-actual amount of RAM is 8192-the DRAM frequency will be shown as half the quantity of frequency advertised, generally all 1600 RAM will be shown as obtaining a DRAM frequency of 𞽐 mhz, all 1333 RAM will be shown as 𞻊.5 mhz- Critical: you Need to have to allow XMP in your BIOS to run at advertised timings. for my asus p8p67, it was beneath AI tweaker. you *could* most likely also run it manually, but i've only attempted XMP and it performs.

eight gigs in 2 sticks. Fast and low energy requirements. This is fantastic ram. No troubles setting up rated speeds. none Not as rapid as the two x two gig sticks it replaced. At least according to Windows Encounter Index. Timing was cas 7 for that ram even though. I like the black ram color as opposed to green.

Steady and OC-in a position. I purchased three Ɩx4Gb) sets and split them up into 3x4Gb kits to run in mine and a pal's x58 system. They perform perfectly. I set my friend's kit at XMP DDR3 1600 8-8-eight-24 and was in a position to set the command rat to 1T, at 1.525v vdim. I just had to make sure and set the REF Cycle Time (tRFC) to 88. Any tRFC much less and it wouldn't boot. See other thoughts for my results. None at all. I tested my ram at OCed settings and have the following results:DDR3 1800 9-9-9-24 1T tRFC one hundred with 1.60v vdim. These passed 24 hrs Memtest and ten hrs Prime95 anxiety testing. I couldn't get them at any tighter timings at default clocks, even with vdim up to 1.65v (didn't try greater as this testing was for 24ǝ use). The trick with these is the tRFC. The board would not boot until I enhanced tRFC to 88 for DDR3 1600 and one hundred for DDR3 1800.Setup:Rampage III Extreme 񡼷 biosꏼx at 4.0GHz3x4Gb G.Skil Ripjaw DDR3 1600 cas8 (running DDR3 1800 cas9)ASUS 59702x80Gb Intel X-25 SSD850W CM PSU Windows 7 Ultimate x64

- Got 'em low cost in the course of a shell shocker deal.- Quite blue heat sinks.- Worked straight out of the box in my method (overclocked AMD 1090T CPU/nForce 980a MB).- More rapidly timings and decrease voltage than the DDR3 1600 memory it replaced!- The cost I paid 16GB of this memory is essentially Much less than what I paid for 8GB Ɣx2GB) of memory not even 9 months ago! - Doesn't cause my system to magically sprout four additional DIMM sockets and permit it to assistance 32GB of RAM.- Didn't assist me lose weight spontaneously .- Wasn't totally free. :) I picked up two sets of this ram on a shell shocker deal this week and I'm incredibly glad I did! I currently had 8GB of RAM, but for the price I'd have had to been a fool to pass on upgrading my box to 16GB of RAM (I do a lot of higher resolution photo editing and manipulation in Photoshop so the further RAM is usually welcome). The memory plugged in without having any issues whatsoever. I didn't check to see if the memory auto configured to the appropriate timings even though given that I often manually set the timings myself. I set them to the appropriate speed and timings in the BIOS although, and following testing my program out for a couple of hours nowadays, it's been operating like greased lightning. The added RAM created a noticeable difference inside of Photoshop CS5's liquify filter (no far more technique halting stuttering when using the forward warp brush!).

Extremely rapidly memory at a excellent cost when on sale. It fit in the initial memory slot with my Hyper 212+ but was gently touching it so I moved it to the second slot and no issues. None The memory initially came up with larger latency settings in the BIOS but it wasn't a issue to change those. I haven't attempted to overclock it and almost certainly won't because it runs good and quickly as it is. For P67, the RAM operates, XMP profile works even far better. Seems to have a bit of overclocking area as effectively. A incredibly fantastic value for the price tag! I'm not a fan of the fancy heat spreaders. If a spreader is absolutely expected, a reduced profile a single such as on G.Skill ECO RAM would be better. At least G.Talent doesn't have silly flashing LED's on their RAM modules. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill buy and assessment. Glad to hear you like this memory kit and it is performing well. This model uses incredibly higher overall performance chips, so your functionality outcomes ought to be incredibly very good. Regarding heat spreaders, it is compatible with most aftermarket CPU coolers, so it need to not bring about any problems. The height is 40mm tall, so clearance is usually not an concern. Newegg's excellent work. Despite the fact that a track # came a couple of hours after ordering, for two days no information. Chatted w/Newegg and status reports came in. This item took a new and unusual route but came quicker than expected. Excellent perform. After set up, went appropriate to 1600, 8,8,8,24 per spec. Memtest 86 showed no errors and I am satisfied. My OCZ RAM would run at very same speed but hose my technique due to corruption. None so far other than the still higher cost, though now comparatively significantly less high priced than just before. I installed this set in my ASUS P8P67 Pro board with zero matters. I set the XMP profile in BIOS and they are running at the rated speed of eight-eight-8-24 and a WEI rating of 7.eight. The heat sinks are decent and the Blue color matches the ASUS mobo color scheme. What's not to like? None. I purchased these soon after having very good luck with a G.Ability Ripjaws DDR3 1600 12GB Triple channel set that I have installed on my X58 setup. This ram runs good, non difficulties at all. The blue heatsinks look awsome in my case and my Asus P8P67 motherboard. Shipping. I purchased this on monday in time for the shipping carrier to choose it up from newegg and it didn't get to me until thursday. Which normally would be no big deal except that it came from a city that was 20-30 minutes away from where I live. Really disappointed in the shipping on this item. Also I wanted to point out that Gskill has AWSOME consumer service. I have been emailling them for awhile about a problem I had and they were really useful in solving it.

Dropped them in and BAM...worked at the specified settings without a hitch. They go great with my blue theme rig :) Newegg didn't throw a SSD in the package just due to the fact I'm a helluva nice guy. :( I saw these on a Shell Shocker Deal and could not resist even though I already had 4 2GB Ripjaw sticks. Now I can upgrade to 16GBs if necessary and I also have blue not red (shameful purpose to obtain new RAM but what can I say). The fantastic portion about it all is that soon after selling my old RAM, this only price me ฤ. Who da man :) Newegg gave free shipping with this buy but it was a single of individuals UPS/USPS deals. The tracking is crizzap but due to the fact USPS delivers on Saturday, I got these super rapidly. Thanks Newegg...you guys are the very best!
