Bought the dual channel kit, then single stick. No dilemma running this as triple channel. Saved income over Triple Channel Kit. They're all the similar. I'm working with x58 Sabertooth. I had to manually set it to run at 1600 but that can be completed ine 30 Sec. I initially ordered this not figuring out the double/triple channel thing... i bought my 1st 8 gigs of this for my rig when i built it a year ago when each and every chip was like 跌, besides at the price then getting higher, they worked wonderful, now i am running at the complete 24 gig on my rig OC to 2000mhz(again, know what you are carrying out just before you push it that higher and have a high finish motherboard)Have not had any of my chips negative all 6 have been in excellent shape. with the value they are now, they are tested and correct and at a fair cost for excellent. Not the tallest heat sinks. Does not get in the way of some aftermarket CPU coolers. No sharp edges in my case. Flat edges at the ends of the card makes it a bit less complicated to push the card into the memory slots on the motherboard. Possessing a heat sink may possibly block some aftermarket coolers.
