Cons: None so far

Pros: Fast speed, XMP profile, decent latency for this speed, lifetime warranty, heatsinks aren't too massive

I bought this RAM as part of my new LGA1156 setup. It runs on my Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P mobo exactly as advertised at DDR3-2000 with 9-9-9-27 timings and 1.6V. I just had to enable the XMP profile and all the settings were put in automatically. I haven't tried overclocking the RAM but it does do CL8 at DDR3-1800. I have one more kit on the way! :)

Cons: If I had to pick something, it would be that the kit does not come with a memory fan like the Corsair Dominators. Other than that, I really have nothing bad to say about this RAM.

Pros: Great stock performanceEven better overclockersGood price (remember to M your P)Excellent availability
Comment:
GSkill have been at the leading edge of DDR3 since the early days and continue to be the market leaders in this regard. All of their modules are as good or better than the competition's and are associated with a) better prices and b) better availability. So when I built my i7 system, GSkill was at the top of my list for RAM, and I ended up settling on 8GB of the DDR3-2000 Ripjaws. In my initial overclocking of the system, I kept the RAM bus low - at around DDR3-1600 while I toyed with the CPU and base clock. In doing so, I undervolted the RAM to 1.58v. Recently, I got around to finally overclocking the RAM, and I managed to get it up to DDR3-2067 stable. And here's the kicker - I forgot that I had undervolted it, so it was doing DDR3-2067 on only 1.58v!I don't know yet how high the RAM can go on stock voltage (1.60v) or with overvolting (1.65v), but suffice to say - so far I have been extremely pleased with this RAM and would not hesitate for a moment to recommend it to anyone and everyone else.

I got this set for my i7 860 and intel dp55kg mobo and it works great. I've got this set running at 1600 with 7-7-7-20 timings and 1.50V. My mobo only supports up to 1600MHz, but this ram was the same price as the PC3-12800 set. I see it has gone up in price since. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-23-09 08:29 AM

I was having all kinds of problems with the patriot ram I had in my old box, so when I built this latest system I took some advice from a friend and gave these a shot.I have not been disappointed.Currently running 8 gigs in windows 7 64 bit on an MSI GD80 and i'm very happy.

Cons: None that I can see

Pros: 8GB Low Voltage Cool running
Comment:
Clocked up to 1830 x 9-8-8-20 2T on my Rampage Extreme. I had two sets of 1600C7 that I could never get to run stable at more than 1500Mhz. These ones are just as fine as can be. Tweaking brings great numbers, and I have just begun. They cost me 97 dollars a pair with a price match.http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/DerekT2008/?action=view¤t=Memtest-1.jpghttp://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/DerekT2008/?action=view¤t=System.jpg
