These are a bit of a lottery, as there are kits with differing hardware specs out there. Some are single-sided, some are double. I bought two sets and got one of each. The double-sided ones perform better than the single-sided ones (tRFC = 160 vs 300). I read somewhere that the single-sided ones actually perform no better than 2133MHz RAM. |

just force it to be 2400MHz in BIOS(with a supported cpu and mobo) and you get itI know they other 2400MHz RAMs would have similar prices, I just wish someday it could be as low as a normal 1600 Ram(I'm joking)beside,its red-black looking get pretty well with my maximus mobo |

2400 under 100$ ?? Bring it!!! G.skill proven with time to be a reference in ram. Easy to oc, look incredible, work flawless. It's a trouble-less buy, compatible with nearly every board. The only thing i would like to see is a white version :D. |

i've bought 2 kits of these dimms , they are great , i'm running them at 2600 mhz on my z87 maximus 6 formula , removed the top part of the heat spreader and installed a ek ram block on mine |

One of the sticks could not reach 2400 without freezing the computer after a few hours. Wasted many days with G.Skill support to sort things out. My system (4790K + Gigabyte z97X-SOC) was supposed to support them fine. Luckily the replacements seem to be ok.
