Pros: Small, but yet not too small. Cables are sufficiently long.Powered.
Comment:
Has 2 handy connectors on top sufficiently far apart that larger devices (like USB sticks) will fit next to each other and can be connected and removed easily. Has connectors in the back for more permanent devices; these are quite close together.

Cons: loadup time. takes 45 seconds longer than the internal hub.2 cables (usb and dc)

Pros: ran out of usb ports. this came and saved me.
Comment:
This is an amazing hub which has saved my bacon many times over. for refrence, the power is NOT supplied by usb, but a dc jack. Extends the range of keyboard/mouse. great price. Buy it on sale!

Cons: Would have liked the 2 upward usb ports to fold down for transporting.

Pros: Great build quality, no flakiness, lots of ports
Comment:
I've actually gone through a good number of cheap USB hubs and, well, as strange as it may seem for such a simple device, you do get what you pay for. This is the first USB hub I've purchased that has worked flawlessly for both powered and unpowered devices. The only thing that I found a little weird from a design standpoint is that I would have assumed that the two upward facing USB ports would be able to fold down for slimmer storage if you're tossing it into a laptop bag. No can do. Being that it sits on my desk for the most part, not a big deal. If I needed another, I would buy again - just not at regular price

Cons: No dust protection for vertical ports

Pros: Compact sizeAC Powered
Comment:
The grey surface has a nice rubberized finish to it. It is smaller than an xbox 360 controller and about the same size as a 2.5" external hard drive. This is my first AC powered hub so I can't say it's one of the best, but I would purchase again.

Cons: Top ports limit stacking to one hub on top of the first.

Pros: Nicely affordable7 portsPrevious Belkin "experience"
Comment:
I had older Belkin 4 port hubs that needed to be replaced. They were failing. I found no other "stack-able" hubs from a company that I know the reputation.

Cons: Experienced a few crash

Pros: Good number of ports, nice design
Comment:
It offers a good number of ports. Also it is connected to an external power source, so it can be used to charge devices even when the computer is shut down. Once in a while, it makes my PC freeze during boot up. I have to disconnect it and restart my PC. I bought it with a 50% rebate, so it is still a good buy.

Cons: None

Pros: Powered hub
Comment:
This is a very nice hub. I got this to use with an external DVD drive and old laptop. The Samsung (USB powered) drive would not work plugging directly into the laptop usb ports as it couldn`t provide enough power. This hub solved the problem. The hub looks good on the desk, not an eye sore like so many similar products. It`s heavy enough that it doesn`t slide around. It`s a little too expensive at the regular price, but when it goes on sale it`s worth buying.

Pros: Many ports. Vertical USB key moutning. Low profile. No unnecessary lighting. Rubberized texture
Comment:
I have this Belkin hub hooked up to my X201. At any moment it has connected to it 2 x 1 TB drives, a monitor (routing the monitor's built in usb hub), a USB key for lastpass, my keyboard and mouse. It fantastic and my only regret is that I did not buy more when they were 19.99. Also the girl at the web order pickup desk (Pine & Broadway) was cute, sweet and gave me candy.

Pros: Top portsExcellent sale price
Comment:
I bought two of these hubs for less than $20 when they were on sale. Can't beat that price. This is a great little 7 port USB hub. Five ports on the back for permanent connections and two top mounted for quick inserts like your flash drive. Some people seem to have heat issues with this hub, I have been keeping an eye on it, but I have had no such problems so far.

Pros: - Got it on a Sale Price- 7 Ports :)- Powered with AC Adapter- Doesn't Slide Around- Fast
Comment:
This is a Great 7-Port HUB. It is Powered with an Adapter so you don't have to waste your time with those SLOW USB Powered HUBS!I find it has a fast load time and I have yet to have anything stop loading 1/2 way through like I've had from other ones in the past!Overall, it does what it is supposed to!:)

Cons: Power & to-pc connection are both close to USB connections

Pros: PoweredHas 2 ports on topLooks good
Comment:
A very good and cheap hub, well if you got it on sale. Other than the 2 ports on the top of this product, every other port is on the back. Meaning the power, and to-pc connections are close to the usbs.. It isn't to big a problem but, can get in the way of large USB connections.

A great simple usb 2.0 hub that has LEDs for port status and two vertical port that are handy for bulky usb devices or those that are constantly plugged and unplugged into your system. Bought several of these for myself and clients and all are still working perfectly. Get this on sale or PMed.

Pros: 7 USB PortsBought for $25
Comment:
Picked this up for $25 and it was well worth it. Not too much to say, it does it's job. I just noticed it has some lights on the front - appears to be a power indicator and indicators for what usbs are plugged in.

Pros: Lots of ports, feels sturdy, visual display of what usb ports are in use.

Another good Blekin product that provides some good visual indicators and nice port placement. I wouldn't pay full price of it but when it's on sale I would pick it above other hubs.

Cons: none

Pros: Excellent USB Port accessibility - solid construction - looks great - functions as it should
Comment:
As far as USB hubs go basically you want them to function and function well. After receiving this in a well packaged box they are not all created equal. Excellently designed it allows you access 5 ports in the rear and two on top. Setup is a non-issue...simply connect and go. The design of the hub also allows stability ... mine simply on the top of my computer case and it never drops off. Over the past 5 months I've never had a disconnect issue and I've got a scanner, mouse , camera's and an external USB 2.0 HD attached and have never had a drop.
