Well, for me this one is quit useful. Got a lots of usb device needs to plug in. Current I am only using 3 out of 7 cuz for example 1 usb wireless n adapter is taking 2 space. I don't plug in the n adapter extension cord cuz it takes too much room on my desk. The upper part of the hub is removeable. I think this function is gonna be useful to most people. Got this on sale and happy with it even up to now. |

Cons: Expensive if you dont get it on sale
Pros: 2 hubs, 1 for laptop, 1 for desktopcomes with AC adapter for the desktop base Comment:
I got this on sale for $15, which is the only reason why I would buy this. This works really well for my laptop and desktop. When I don't use the laptop hub, It docks nicely onto the desktop base ( which also has a few ports on the back). I would recommend this if it goes on sale again. |

I bought this for my desktop PC as the up-front ports are on top and there are only 2. I hate reaching way down behind the computer in the dark dusty void. This thing has handled everything I need it for so far. I like the detatchable part, but the swivel feels cheap on it. It doesn't look like it will break, but it sounds bad. Only time will tell. |

I've had it for a week, very stable power outputs even with my phone charger on.The fact that you can use it as a regulr usb hub with the power adapter, or you can take out the silver portable hub and carry it around, performance and portability in one package, impressive.My wireless keyboard receiver blocks another port a bit, kind of fat, but my other regular usb devices such as mouse, headsets, and phone charger fit perfectly without blocking.Regular price is $50, but I bought it at $15, one of the best deals I've ever seen.If you see one and need/want one, this is a no brainer. |
I needed some more usb ports on my desk top and ps3 so I purchased this to split them up and it works fantastic. The portable part looks right at home on my ps3 (all tho I would like it to have been black) it gave my the extra slots (4) I needed for my gear. The powered hub is nice since it has one port on top and the rest (3) in the back so you can cram your flash drives in and out quick.
