Cons: Not for everyone

Pros: Works great - I really like this style of keyboard
Comment:
Works very well - no batteries to replace (this combo replaced a wireless keyboard + mouse combo). I enjoy typing on the keyboard and haven't had any issues with it for gaming either.

Cons: Not for everyone.Had a couple of these where one key on each has died.

Pros: Ergonomic.fairly sturdy keyboard.Good Price.
Comment:
Although not for everyone, this keyboard is great if someone is comfortable typing in this way. I have several employees that enjoy using this style of keyboard, it comes down to user preference. Like anything else, they break down after extended use. Could be faulty craftsmanship or abuse, who knows. Regardless, good keyboard for the price you pay. Mouse is alright too, but I prefer cordless over corded.

Cons: Weird key sizing (T and N are huge while B and Y are small. Some nonstandard keys that won't work without their software.Boring mouse.

Pros: Great wrist rest, comfortable, lots of programmable and media keys if that's your thing.
Comment:
I got this combo from NCIX.com because the keyboard was recommended by MaximumPC, and while I wasn't totally blown away, it was a good purchase. The mouse is totally plain. It works, it clicks, it's not particularly easy or hard on the hand (though I'm not an all day gamer) Very affordable. The key sizing is weird and gets on my nerves a little still, though I'm getting more and more used to it. Microsoft has yet to let me down with one of their peripherals.

Cons: The space bar doesn't go down as well as the other buttons for some reason.

Pros: It feels so nice. I won't go back to using normal non-curved keyboards after this.
Comment:
Great product. Very well thought out. If you type lots this is an absolute necessity. Like I said in the strengths, you won't want to go back to a normal keyboard after using this. My gf had doubts about the spacing in the middle, but she got used to it really quickly.

Cons: -It is very hard to get the F-lock key to function properly-Main enter key doesn't work

Pros: -comfortable-nice looking-a lot of shortcut keys which I suppose some people might use
Comment:
This keyboard has a lot of strengths but one very stupid design flaw which really ruins it for me. The F-keys (F1,F2 etc.) don't work as F-keys by default. You are supposed to be able to turn them on but it never seems to work. You definitely can't turn them on when Windows isn't loaded which is a huge problem because the BIOS and DOS programs make a lot of use of those F-keys.The center enter key also didn't work on mine. The enter key over by the num lock pad does work but it's a real pain because I am not used to using that one. While the ergonomic designs and comfort features as well as the sleek look of this keyboard are nice, the above problems, especially the F-key thing, really ruin it for me and I no longer use it as my main keyboard.

Cons: Non-tactile keys

Pros: Excellent layout of keys. Curvature to each side of the keys.
Comment:
Excellent keyboard! I've used Microsoft Natural keyboards ever since they came out, and this one just replaced a Natural Multimedia keyboard. Note that this 4000 one doesn't have a tactile feeling, which some users prefer.

Cons: None

Pros: Feel, Position of Keys
Comment:
Couldn't ask for a better keybaord; The only way to oneup it would be to make it wireless/BT , but aside from that no qualms whatsoever. If you want something to take the stress off your typing, definitely buy this. It is kinda high with the palm rest, but you don't need to attach it.

Cons: - cheap feeling multimedia keys- non-remappable zoom slider- space bar feels different and sounds loud

Pros: - soft touch keys- F-lock key behaves properly- soft wrist padding- soft touch key
Comment:
This is finally a natural keyboard that I can use after the first MS Natural Keyboard was discontinued. It finally uses the standard Querty layout and not some butchered alteration like the previous natural keyboards. Furthermore, it has a F-lock key that remembers its last state so its no longer a problem when I don't want to use those "user friendly" keys which have no effect in most of the programs that I use. Its a shame that the space bar feels different than the rest of the keys and there is a loud clank when hitting it. MS could have split it up and avoided the problem of having to deal with different mounting/switches for it.

Cons: Awkward key locations, hard to get used to at first;Hardcore PC gamers will get frustrated with the space between the key "G" to "H"

Pros: Awesome Comfortability (Once you get used to it);Great Features on the extra buttons.
Comment:
I love this keyboard. I got it for my birthday. At first it was hard to get used to at the beginning, but after a few weeks I was very comfortable with the keyboard. The way that the keyboard is designed will reduced the risk of wrist diagnostics when you get old :). I highly recommand this keyboard to anyone, except for those hardcore gamers. Cons: No El or LED backlit keys. (if you can call it a weakness)

Pros: Solid Comfortable unit
Comment:
Bought it for my Mother, She loves it. Works like a charm. The color matchs her black tower exactly. It is also loaded with extra internet buttons. But for $50 I would go for the G15 myself but that is just my nature. :)

Cons: Certain key placement issues, certain keys can not be remapped by driver software

Pros: Ergonomic, Minimalistic, decent mouse in OEM bundle, leather-esque wrist padding, quiet keystrokes
Comment:
I've had this keyboard & mouse combo for a little under a month now and I'm pretty impressed with what I bought. The keyboard feels sturdy enough, its very quiet to type on, and it doesn't have a mangled edit block like some Logitech keyboards I've used (two rows, three colums versus three rows & two columns). The quick access keys to mail, web, media playback and user-assignable keys are small in amount and relatively out of the way leaving a somewhat minimalistic layout which is pleasing to the eye. The mouse included (MS Comfort Optical 3000) is a fairly standard mouse, four button + tilt wheel. It does the job, and it does it rather well.My only major concerns with this keyboard and mouse are the lack of customization for some of the specialty keys. I come from an ergonomic board that has Windows keys on both sides of the space bar, so I am used to using a single hand to minimize all and log out of windows. Still having issues adjusting to using the left Windows key, and I cannot seem to map the context menu button to the right of the spacebar to act as another Windows key. Same goes for the zoom knob, I would love to use that for scrolling documents, or the web back/forward keys to alternate between virtual desktops, but it's either the specified function or off entirely. The mouse thumb button (which is set to magnify by default) can easily be remapped, so you could re-map it to 'R' when you're playing games to have a mouse-controlled reload function on your weapon. All in all, it's hard to find ergonomic keyboards these days and this bundle fits the bill nicely. If the need should arise, I would definitely get another. My complaints are mostly cosmetic, but I'm sure I will adjust in time to the layout & lack of configuration of these specific keys.

Cons: The software is not good.Space key is hard to press.

Pros: Erogonomics!!!
Comment:
It is so "natural", after a week of use, it feels like an extension of my arms. The design is really nice. I believe it is the best keyboard for typing. The software isn't good though. The media play key always brings up Windows Media Player even if I was using RealOne.The space key taks a lot of force to press, I miss the 2-space key design in some other keyboards.Zoom is not very useful, they should have it programmable instead.

Cons: won't recognize during xp boot up (I have to plug in another ps/2 or usb keyboard to select between boot sequence or safe mode options etc.)

Pros: great feellooksextra buttons

I purchased this from a local store a few months ago because I was over at the gf's house and tried her ergo keyboard and absolutely loved it. I'm absolutely in love with this keyboard. It looks awesome, sounds great, has tons of extra buttons which are actually useful in most cases and most importantly is like an orgasm for my hands. If you can stand ergo keyboards you'll love this one.

Cons: Took me about one week of rerceational, daily use to get used to this new keyboard (previous: MS Natural Elite).

Pros: High quality, ease to use once adjusted to.
Comment:
Great Keyboard. While it took me around one week to get used to this keyboard, I absolutely love it now. It's comfortable, easy on the fingers (key pressing) and has a bunch of buttons, if not useless to me, for use with e-mail, media players, and internet browsers. My only complaint is that some of the silver paint has started to chip, but frankly I could care less. It was worth taking a week to adjust to this keyboard, previously I was on a Microsoft Natural Elite (also an ergonomic).Note: Apparently, this keyboard only works with USB. I have a USB to PS2 adapter from an old keyboard, and I will try it just to see if it works. Otherwise, this keyboard is supposed to only be USB, I believe.

Cons: "F-Lock" feature auto turned off

Pros: Fantastic design.
Comment:
Microsoft has come out with an instant cult classic in this keyboard. It looks almost alien, which is great in and of itself. I found myself not wanting to buy a keyboard that looked this outrageous, and now love the looks of it. Even more than the looks, I love the feel of it. The leatherette wrist rest, the contoured keys, and the solid responsiveness of this keyboard make it a winner in my books. Microsoft has not tried to load a tonne of features into a keyboard, but instead leaves the keyboard to be just that, a keyboard.I love this thing. You can't have mine.
