Cons: -Loud!-Wires are too short-Expensive

Pros: -It can move a lot of air-Speed control can be adjusted via BIOS-...
Comment:
I installed a pair of these in the front of my Antec Solo. At $18 each, I guess I was expecting an amazing product, but they've been a disapointment in several respects:-Fan headers were too short to go from my front panel to the headers on the motherboard (which is at the very right edge of the MB!). I had to solder in a splice.-My MB allows me to adjust their speed, but even with the speed on "silent" in the BIOS (corresponds to about 1100 rpm with these), they are still the loudest thing in my system (by far).Panaflos are selling based on a reputation that they earned several years ago and maybe that reputation is no longer deserved.

Cons: - fragile- not that quiet - mechanical whine- 3 pin only

Pros: + somewhat quiet+ panflo name
Comment:
So I wanted a quiet fan that put out a bit more air than my Nexus 92mm (very quiet strongly recommend fan if don't need lots of airflow)So I got this. Plugged it - disappointed... airflow noise was fine (and as expected) but the mechanical whine was not. It was not loud, but none of my other fans have that noise and it definitely was noticeable in a quiet system. Not happy. The 80mm Panaflo fans worked great and didn't have that noise. So I will continue searching for a decent quietish 90mm fan with reasonable airflow. Panaflo is NOT going to be on my list.As a sidenote, I was wondering what to do with this fan (was thinking maybe a server a work). I was rechecking the noise by the usual stopping the fan manually (for a 1/2 second). It shattered. First time I ever saw that - faster and cheap fans never did that (I done this on many dozens of fans). I won't deduct a star for this, but just beware.Note that this had a 3 cable wire - I didn't verify but perhaps it does detect speed.

Cons: None that I know of.

Pros: Silent, high CFM, Hydro wave bearings
Comment:
I used this fan for my XP-90 cpu heatsink, and the fan is very silent. It says it has no sensor but my bios can read it's RPM, unless they say it has no temp sensor.I really don't regret purchasing this fan, it does it's job very well.
