Cons: Push-pins

Pros: Price to performance ratio
Comment:
I've been using my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for a while now with no problems. It was a pain to install when I upgraded my CPU but that's probably due to the small case I own. Although I wish this heatsink used bolts rather than push-pins, it's well-priced and has been performing great. The fan is still going strong after 2 years

Cons: Nowhere near as good as the coolermaster hyper 212

Pros: Decent cooling
Comment:
This is an alright cooler, but for the same price you can get the coolermaster hyper 212. The coolermaster is a far more effective cooler. The arctic still does an acceptable job. It is just blown away by the competition.

Cons: the plastic protector are fragile

Pros: Quiet, make cpu run cooler, smaller than a Hyper 212
Comment:
I couldn't add an Hyper 212 in my Nzxt Phantom so i took this one instead. The temperature are 30c in idle and 40c in full run.I had to remove the lower plastic protector to add my memory.Came with pre-applied thermal paste so it's a faster install.

Cons: Clearance (minor)

Pros: Installation, Quality
Comment:
Installed VERY easily, and seems very solid. No issues other than having to snip the lower, plastic, fan-guard bar off to clear my Muskin RAM. Very minor issue though, and the seating and clips were flawless. VAST improvement over stock HS.

Quiet operation, Mine came with push pins & it is light weight. I got this on sale for about $15. No problem at all using all the 130 Watts of cooling capacity. Had this for 4 months now.

Cons: Nothing. I say nothing at all.

Pros: WOW! I will definately buy again
Comment:
Beware if you have a small case or very few place to put this. Otherwise, it's the best price/cooling/noise ratio I've had in a long while.

Cons: Fan cage a bit flimsy

Pros: Efficient cooling, barely audible. Easy to install
Comment:
I bought this to replace the stock AMD heatsink and I must say I should have bought this sooner. Effectively does what a heatsink does but is very quiet at the same time. It's very easy to install on a socket AM3 mobo. Good pricing. Highly recommend if you're looking to replace your stock CPU heatsink

Cons: Small parts easily drop  under MB.

Pros: Good size that does the work of a larger heatsink
Comment:
Reciever my cooler today and installed it. The only problem when installing is the little push pins to install on an Intel CPU. Dropped one and it went under the MB. Had to take out the PSU to recover it. Other than that it was easy to install. Cools my OC Q8200 as good as the larger Scythe HS with 120mm fan. I would recommend buying one when on sale.

Cons: Will not fit in smaller cases.

Pros: Great value for the money.
Comment:
Quiet operation, uses smart pins to mount it on a variety of sockets (not traditional push pins), light weight, cools processors of up to 130 Watt TDP. And all this for about $15, cannot complain.

Cons: The fan on the cooler wasn't pushed into where it held the fan in place, and because of that I first thought the fan was malfunctioned because it wasn't spinning.

Pros: -Bang for your buck; price to performance ratio is very good.-Very simple installation. Took me 5min and I'm a newbie at this.-Size is relatively small for the performance it brings.-As already mentioned, the price very low for the performance it gives.
Comment:
Overall this is a very good buy for anyone who's looking to buy an after market cooler that will both give them performance at an affordable price. It keeps my CPU at temperatures lower than 50C at max load, using an Intel E7400, which has not been overclocked... yet4.5/5

You can't get a cheaper CPU coller than this which has quality. It cools well and managed to get CPU temp under 45C without any problems. Highly recommend.

Cons: none at this price

Pros: cheap, cools well, quiet
Comment:
picked up one just because it was so cheap. Good to have as a spare. Been using AC freezers since they came out, and never looked back. If you want something that cools well, is silent, and doesn't break the bank, this is a top choice.

Cons: More difficult to install than previous revisions

Pros: Quiet, effecive, relatively inexpensive
Comment:
I have long been a fan of the Freezer series of CPU coolers for AMD and Intel processors. The new design has a universal mounting system for almost all processors, which is a convenient way to distribute the product, but makes installation a tad more difficult. You have to install clips and put the bracket on the motherboard, then push the heatsink down really hard and try to screw it all together. It took some doing, unfortunately. When it was all said and done, the heatsink cooled very effectively and made almost no noise. It's a great price for a cooler of this quality and effectiveness, but it just takes some effort to install.

Cons: Might be a bit too big for some cases. I own an Antec Sonata III case and it fit perfectly but in micro-atx cases, I doubt it will.

Pros: Very silent, way better than the AMD stock fan for a Phenom II 965 cpu.
Comment:
My CPU fan/heatsink used to spin really fast as soon as it gets higher than 27 degrees in my house. I had the AMD stock fan that came with my Phenom II 965 cpu. This fan is definitely worth the 14.95$ it cost me! Anyone not overclocking their cpu and having trouble with a noisy stock AMD fan should get this. Very quiet vs the stock fan and the heatsink is simply cold, cpu running below 40 degrees at all times.

Cons: Poor designing. Incompatibilities. Read on.

Pros: Fairly efficient. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Clipping system (in my books, this may be a strength).
Comment:
My stock Core i7-2600 full load temperature went from 75-80 °C (Intel's stock HSF) to 60-65 °C. I'm very pleased there. However, this HSF's design won't win any award. Since it isn't raised enough, slots 1 and 2 of my P8H67-M Pro are unusable with the fan installed. Additionally, the installation and the removal of this HSF isn't easy at all. I actually had to use pliers to remove the clips since they wouldn't work on their first time. It uses a mixture of clips and screws so it won't require a motherboard backplate (Which may be a bg deal for you (won't need to remove your motherboard)). All in all, I may need to start all over with another HSF that won't cancel two of my four memory slots.

Cons: Tricky to install in tight confined space

Pros: Price point, Size! It fit in a very compact Acer case! Quiet at lease at low to mid fan speeds. fits wide variety of CPU's
Comment:
I wanted to get a tower cooler that would fit the confines of a rather small Acer case. CPU was overheating with stock amd cooler and video card fried from over heated use, so I was hoping to get as much air flow as I could in the case. Other upgrades included a new PS with 135mm fan, a 92mm fan in the front and one on the side. I also replaced the noisy 92mm fan at the back. Gigabyte video card has 2 fans.I can hear the HD over all those fans when it spins up. Very happy with the addition of the cooler, temps now under control, instalation was staight forword, and I was suprised at how quiet it was. Although noise level is not silent, it's very reasonable!!! Would buy again if needed.

Cons: - CPU fan is a lot larger compared to Stock fan becareful might block one of your RAM slots

Pros: - Easy to install- Cools better than stock Intel fan
Comment:
Bought this bad boy on the first day of NCIX 15th anniversary sale for $11.99 can't go wrong with that. I own a I5-750 and I've always wanted to OC it a bit more. I nevered OC anything before this chip. I had a stock fan for over a year now and when I mildly OC it to only 2.8 GHz (140 BLCK x 20 multipler) on idle I would be hitting 38~40 degree celsius and if I do a stress test with Prime95 the thing would shoot up to 70+ degress. This CPU fan literally took like 10 minutes or less to install. If I didn't have to clean the old thermal compound it would of been quicker. After installing it the cores were idling at low 30s on avg for all 4 cores (29~32). I wasn't impress at first. I was like what the heck lets OC it some more this time I went BLCK 150 x 21 mutlipler instead making this baby a 3.15 GHz. It held perfectly fine on avg of 32~36 degrees on idle and when I ran Prime95 expecting it to perhaps to hit into 65+ degress instead it stayed at about 50~55 degrees never really going over. I was quite impress then. I didn't want to push this chip yes so I was playing RIFT at this new setting and notice loading time was faster. I would buy again the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is the design actually blocks one of my RAM slots on my Gigabyte P55A-UD4P. I do have G.Skill ram and I know their heatsink on those RAM can be a little bigger than usual.Just make sure this fan doesn't block your RAM slots before using it. Otherwise great bung for the buck only for $11.99 such a sweet deal.
