Cons: Doesn't work with stronger fans

Pros: Easy to install
Comment:
Bought this with the intention of reducing the noise of my Vantec Tornado case fan (55.2 db gets painful after a while). Sadly this speed fan cable did nothing to reduce the RPM or noise level. Would not recommend this to anyone trying to find a cheap solution to a stronger fan.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Neat 3-in-1 solution for plugging 3pin fans
Comment:
Neat 3-in-1 3pin power connector for fans. Does the trick for me although not all fans turn on at 5v. As someone else pointed out, i would not risk hooking up a high-powered fan to the 7v resistor connector possibly causing the resistor to melt. And yes it is delicate.

Cons: resistor not well attached to wire

Pros: 3 connectors in 1, good way to reduce the noise from a fan without a fanbus, or welding resistor.
Comment:
Bought this to connect a noisy harddrive cooler, (using 7v instead of 12v) but when I disconnected the fan cable to clean up the cables paths, the wire broke off from the resistor, I had to solder the wire back on. Could be because my error, but I would of expected this to be a bit stronger. I now have 3 fans connected to this and it's working fine.

Cons: Doesn't work for anything pulling a good amount of A

Pros: Only for low A fans.
Comment:
Obviously Nexus engineers didn't do their math right. The resistor is too small and doesn't hold up for fans that draw a large amount of amperage, and it only works for fans that draw significantly smaller amounts - and if that's the case, you might as well plug into a fan header.
