Cons: Limited Space behind back panel, Power / Reset Buttons Not Tactile, Heavy, Slight Panel Gap

Pros: Great Cooling, Acoustic Foam, Nice Hard Drive Cages
Comment:
So this is the second time I've purchased this case, the firs revision had some problems that have for the most part been take care of by Silverstone. The new hard drive cages are much better than the gen one, however, there is still not a' lot of space to connect power and data to the drive on the back hand side so you will need to carefully manage your wiring when you do so. I bought a Silverstone CP06 to make it easier to wire my hard drives in the case. There is also still not a' lot of room behind the back panel to hide all of your wires. You will have to manage and do a neat job routing them behind the motherboard in order for the panel to fit back on the case unlike other cases where you don't have to worry about wires behind the motherboard. There is also limited room for a dvd drive in the top drive bay so dont expect to fit any long device in there. I instead mounted my dvd drive in the second drive bay and placed a 5.25 USB 3.0 hub in the top drive bay. Cooling wise this case is excellent, the three massive 180mm fans do an excellent job moving a' lot of air and with the motherboard being rotated 180 degrees heat isn't much of an issue in this system. Combined with the acoustic foam the case is very quiet. I used to be able to hear my hard drives spin up in my old case, however, this one isn't as noticeable as the last. The only other thing to note is that cables or adapters that extend for a significant amount in the back I/O area might be a bit cumbersome due to the cover on the top of the case. All in all I'm really happy with this case and would definitely buy again.

Cons: Not a lot of room or options for cable management, but it is adequate. The top 5.25 bay is not usable with at least some drives as there is a rivet at the bottom of the PCI slots that interferes with installation if the drive is "too long".

Pros: Layout, designed with science, build quality, looks great, quiet.
Comment:
Gorgeous case, the front USB 3 positioning seems slightly off where it's supposed to be, but that's picking nits, it works great, it looks great, it's quiet.Would have given 5 stars if not for some of the inconveniences which I would have expected silverstone to address for the USB 3 2nd revision.

Cons: very deep (from front to back)

Pros: Cables are the most easily accessible ever, airflow is perfect, looks are sensational
Comment:
This was not the case I wanted. I wanted Corsair's 650D. but it was back order, *and* Corsair's was slightly more for water cooling, which was not gonna be my case. So i looked around, and the Fortress had great reviews. It's a 'sideways' PC case, i.e. the mobo is turned 90 degreews, so that all the wiring and connections are on the top. It's amazing how it makes my life easier when I want to change something... no more pulling on the case, getting the flashlight, etc.Airflow is the best I've ever had, with 3 ginormous fans at the base blowing up. Video cards fit in easily (670s)... I have more room to spare that I need. Build quality overall is absolutely worth it.There is soundproof padding, USB 3.0 connectors at the top of the case, and a very easy to remove top to gain access to cables. HD bays are tool-less and well made. All wiring is hidden.
