Only works specifically as described. Does not help you attach 120mm fans to other heatsinks :p

Cons: can be annoying to install

Pros: Perfect for attaching a second fan to a 120 extreme or Ultra
Comment:
I ordered these to attach another fan to my Thermalright Ultra120 extreme. Generally it didn't do that much for my cpu cooling, but it helped with air circulation and airflow in my system at least. They're a bit finniky to install beside an existing pair of clips, but with a bit of persuasion they clip in (they can go in 1 slot towards the center from where the other one is clipped). They certainly look strained when you attach a fan, but my second fan has been on for 8 months now and it hasn't fallen off, so don't worry. These are a really cheap and simple way to get some more cooling on your system, and it's nice that they sell these as a stand alone product.

Cons: - price perhaps?

Pros: - comes with silicone strip for anti vibration
Comment:
No complaints, had to modify so my Gelid Solutions 120mm fir on my Mugen 2. Very sturdy, maybe even too sturdy... i love, recommended.

Cons: A little tough to work with (just like the ones that come with the Ultra 120).

Pros: The properly fit the Ultra 120 Extreme and most fans.
Comment:
What can I say? These things allow you to mount additional fans on the Ultra 120 and other similar heatsinks. They successfully do this job but I wish Thermalright had made some sort of better device that was less flimsy.

Cons: -None

Pros: -Can be price matched to around $2-Inexpensive-Inexpensive solution for additional fan on TRUE
Comment:
I needed this for a push/pull setup in my system, and this worked perfectly. Both fans are secured very tightly and the anti-vibration strips works nicely. Will definitely buy again if needed.

Cons: None that I know of.

Pros: Easy installation. Easy use. Very very good price
Comment:
Not much to say except very very useful product at a very low price. Thermaltake never disappoints so get some while they're hot ! I think every 120mm fan should have these hooked up.

Cons: none that I can think of

Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to!
Comment:
Purchased to use with an Ultra-120 and a HR-03. Although each come with the necessary clips for the first fan, this is needed and does a great job at adding a second fan (push-pull) if you are really pushing your units.

Cons: Can scratch your heatsink during installation

Pros: CheapAdds a lot of extra performance to your TRUE 120
Comment:
It's definitely worth it to spend the extra $2 to strap on an extra fan to your TRUE 120. If you have some decent, high-airflow fans in a push-pull configuration, they can push your CPU into close to the watercooling range. I have a 2.4 GHz Intel Q6600 overclocked to 3.0 and it still keeps the temperature in the mid 20's C. Instillation can be a bit tricky and can scratch the bottom plate of the heatsink quite easily (luckily no one else will see it, but still).

Cons: a bit fragilestill very hard to use for 38mm fans

Pros: good strengthinstallation same as original.
Comment:
just your ordinary fan clips, although a bit pricey at 2 dollars for 2 wires, nonetheless they're useful for someone who wants push/pull configuration on their ultra 120. Mounting is just like the usual mounting mechanism, nothing different from the original.

Cons: only 2 clips

Pros: safety installation
Comment:
These clips are the exact same as those that come with the heatsink. Those useless anti-vibration rubber strips are also included, but I've never seen any use to them. They don't seem to make any difference, wether they're installed or not. The clips hold a fan very securely and are better (imo) than using plastic tie-wraps or such.

Cons: fragile

Pros: necessary for second fangreat for replacing broken clips
Comment:
Great item. If you spend 65 bucks on a TRUE, 2.50 is a small price to pay to attach a second fan. I highly recommend getting a second fan for every person with a TRUE out there

Cons: A bit tricky to put on.

Pros: Great for attaching a second fan.
Comment:
I attached a second [pull] fan so I ended up with a push/pull scheme. My temps went down a few degrees. It takes a bit of force to push the clips into the holes.

Cons: none.

Pros: -Does what its supposed to do, hold a second fan on my Thermalright ULTRA-120 extreme.-Included rubber strips is good if you want low noise.
Comment:
If you need to install a second fan on your Thermalright ULTRA-120 extreme, the Thermalright 120MM Fan Clips will do the job perfectly. Can be a little hard to install in tight cases. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-01-08 04:37 PM

Cons: - More should have came with the T.R.U.E.

Pros: + Adding another fan to our T.R.U.E.
Comment:
What can I say? Adding another fan to your T.R.U.E would require one of these. It works, it's easy to install and just in case you broke your original, here are the replacements :)

Cons: -there should of been two sets of these included with the heatsink! not just one set

Pros: -two Thermalright 120MM Fan Clips-two rubber strips-for the Ultra 120 Extreme Heatsink-wire diameter is ~ same size of a paper clip
Comment:
-Ability to add a 120mm case fan to the Thermalright ultra extreme heatsink.-The heatsink however only comes with 1 set of these clips. -One set of clips can hold 1 case fan. By offering these clips to customers, one has the option of adding two 120mm case fans to the heatsink.

Cons: 2.50$... its alright, but if they had shipped this extra set with the heatsink initially that would be nice.

Pros: Work Great for 120mm fans on the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme.Exactly the same clips and strips that came with your heatsink.Adding an extra fan improves performace, but also lets u lower the RPMs and decrease noise without compromising temps.
Comment:
Its hard not to recommend these. You can add another 120mm fan to your already A+ Heatsink. Drop the temps, or Drop the noise, or maybe abit of both, your choice. The are exactly the same as those that came with your Heatsink. Two 120mm fans is nice, as one push and the other pulls the air through ensuring low temps.

Cons: Would be nice if the coolers already came with the 2nd set

Pros: Non-ghetto push-pull configuration, looks better than zip ties, secure, easy installation
Comment:
Good for a 2nd fan or if you wrecked your original pair.Same clips that come with the cooler with same easy installaion.Only complaint is the coolers should have came with a 2nd pair already. They don't include a fan anyway and they're pretty expensive. They could have easily spared the extra set :P Ha.

Pros: - Fits well- Work as intended- Extra fan can be mounted for the CPU cooler

It's nice to have for second fan for the CPU cooler, now my computer can be quieter with 2 fans in lower speed settings. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-18-08 06:48 PM

Cons: None really

Pros: PricePerformance gain
Comment:
I bought those to install another fan on a Ultra 120 Extreme; it's running two SFF21F at 7v.I didn't install the silicon strips it came with, because I'm already using a rubber band on the heatsink to reduce vibration and it works quite well. Before the temp at idle we're 34/35/37/37C, After 32/33/36/36 dropped from 1-2C per cores at idle, Load temp dropped of ~ 3C. That's using Artic cooling MX-2.For $3 it's cheap performance gain.

Cons: Not mutch, they are very stif and so tiny at the same time

Pros: Made with very good spring metal
Comment:
I bought those to try to fit a 120mm fan on a HR-03/R600 but at the end, because i had space issue with my sound card and the HR-03 i did not use it and went with 2 smaller 80mm fan and some tie wrap. Too bad those clips look way better then tie wrap but i was unable to get them fit.

These are the same as the fan clips that are included in the package of the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. They work well, and hold a fan secure on the heatsink.Unlike the other reviewer, my fan clips included the silicone vibration damping strips. Strange.
