Cons: tipped over and hard drive crashed, case easily dents aluminum brushes off easily and leaves scuff marks
Pros: cheap and reliable it works, stays cool for the most part as the heat is passively disbursed. Comment:
if i had to purchase again i would of went with the firewire 400/800 version instead and maybe 2 bay |

Cons: One of the many casing I bought break, but at least they have a warranty of 1 year so they ship me back a new one...

This is one of the best HDD casing you can get, because the front switch turn off the power supply instead of disconnecting it so the HDD didn't receive peak of current that can damage it. |
My purchase with this External HDD began as a result of breaking a previous enclosure. I began with looking for a solid and strong enclosure and choose this one. I was happy with the design and cooling, the aluminium structure keeps the hdd cool, which is a bonus to me. The case itself is everything i would look for in a Sata enclosure, however usb 3.0 would have been nice.Overall, i would most definetly purchase this enclosure, however i would go for the one that includes usb 3.0. If you are in need of an enclosure, this is a good one.
