Cons: Default brightness set far too high. (90%)

Pros: Nice resolution, with good colour presentation.Handsome unit.
Comment:
So far I am very pleased with this unit. Seems to be a well made monitor, with a good resolution and has no issues with glare without sacrificing the visuals. The stand is somewhat cheaply made but is effective and fairly moot as I've wall mounted it. Original unit came with one dead pixel in the mid-left side of the screen, but it was a quick and painless replacement with the "no dead pixel" policy I picked up with purchase. Second unit is the one I now have and it was dead pixel free right outta the box.

Cons: Controls are badly designed.

Pros: Good colors, large, no dead pixels, good startup time.

I got this monitor for Christmas to replace my old Acer. Compared to it, it's a LOT better. The colors don't even compare, everything is much more vibrant out of this one. It also solved the stuck pixel I had in my old one, none here! It's much brighter, also.I used this monitor with a VGA cable until the DVI cable I ordered arrived. Honestly, the difference wasn't night and day or anything. I did notice that perhaps the images were sharper, but the colors seemed the same to me, and if anything were in motion I don't think it would make much of a difference. The controls are located on the bottom edge of the monitor and I'm not a fan of them. They are separate from the labels on the front and the labels are hard to read in low light (which is likely where you'll be calibrating your monitor anyways). But once your monitor is all set up, hopefully you won't have to worry about using them much, especially with a dedicated preset switching button.

Got this on the black friday sale and it's looking like a great buy so far. Great picture quality and screen size with a reasonable price.

Cons: each stand is plastic and not made exactly like the other one(s) AKA a pre-fabrication error

Pros: Picture-perfect image, price on Black Friday at NCIX was $149
Comment:
Side by side, these two take make up a significant square inch increase from my old 24" LCD. Spaces with a Mac and/or Linux allow desktop switching, but two LCDs and multiple desktops is (almost) too much fun!

Cons: Dead pixel

Pros: Price, nice screen
Comment:
Would've given 4 stars but -1 for dead pixel. Friend ordered exact same LCD, and also got exactly 1 dead pixel. Did they send a dead pixel unit on purpose? We don't know but the cable was already plugged in and certain packages were opened. Good thing we bought the dead pixel insurance. Hassle to send it back, had to wait another week, but 2nd unit was fine. Unit itself is nice, good value for the price.

Cons: Resolution seems not as good as my near values LG monitor. Not that much options un menu for adjusting colors.NO DVI cable!!!

Pros: Neat design. Bright colors. Perfect for secondary / casual user especially at this price.Great Energy saver quick on / off when not used.
Comment:
I've bought this lcd in sale for my dual screen video card. I would like to have a quality price ratio as good as possible. I think this monitor fills that. I've paid over 30$ more for a similar dimension LG and it's way beter Don't recommend for principal monitor. Ok if it's for a cheap PC. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-24-09 05:29 AM

A great looking 21.5 inch monitor that is fully HD. No dvi cable, but those are cheap these days. A great price on sale and no dead pixels. Excellent overall monitor, high DC.
