Cons: A bit loud on the processor side (audible, not loud), thick compared to other laptops.
Pros: Slick design, competent in running most games at ULTRA mode or VERY HIGH graphic settings without problems. ZERO cooling issues. SO much utility! |
The dual fan and the slick design was what sold me on the product and I am still happy to use it as one of my desktop replacements. I can play all the games released pre 2014 at Ultra settings and any popular games with zero problems (D3, ROS, LoL, BF4). I sometimes run this as a desktop replacement with IPS 25" LED screen at 1080p with no noticeable drop in performance.The maximum temperature the GPU reached after 6 straight hours of gaming was 62C*. I am very happy with this laptop for the price I paid at NCIX and will continue to use this product until I play games that require full-on desk top GPU capability (not any time soon). If you are looking for a portable gaming solution that can also double as a desktop replacement for confined space, this laptop or its bigger brother G75VW will get the job done for you.
