See my preceding critique. Right after just more than a month this HID stopped tracking on fabric mousepads. It now only tracks on my desk surface. I am extremely disappointed. I have been an avid Gigabyte supporter for years and now feel a bit skeptical about their solutions. After reading the related difficulties from other owners I do not know what to do. Firmware update? RMA? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!

The dpi was the purpose I bought it which was overkill compared to my wireless gigabyte mouse. The computer software is uncomplicated to use not the ideal though. I did not like the button assignments becoming the scroll wheel the mode switch button, and the two back and forward buttons. You have change the dpi and scrolling globally and not person with every single mode.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! this mouse is sooo fast! i be givin head shots like CRAZY!!! gotta turn it down for sc2 although. the ghost computer software is the best mouse software program i have ever used! the buttons are uncomplicated to push with your thumb which indicates you can snipe and throw grenades with out loosing your aim. the various profiles enable as well, i use some for function, it allows me to bring up the command prompt at the press of a button, you can even set it for quick replys in IMs. more than all this mouse is remarkable! it doesn't have the pinky help that my behemoth did so now if im not careful my pinky goes numb. it isnt as smooth either but maybe i just have to play with some settings.the only other difficulty is it wasnt totally free weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew weeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. and i believe thats about it.

This mouse replaces a Death Adder. As quickly as it arrived and I unpacked it, I could inform the high quality was going to be higher, and it is. Wonderfully created and implemented. Almost everything exactly where it is supposed to be, good tracking characteristics. An outstanding item all-round. Thanks Gigabyte and Newegg! Umm, cons? Really like carrying out enterprise with Newegg. They are the greatest of the ideal.

6000 DPI what else can you askGenuinely Affordable compare to othersLike the other guy post, they use fantastic supplies to constructed this mouse, so I dont consider it will break effortlessly.Effortless Application, didnt have to unistall my mouse drivers.I can reduce or increase the dpi manually, without utilizing the software.Came with Free of charge Big Mousepad, what else can i ask? this provide wont last extended even though. None. Nicely I dont know how to use macro aspect however lol. But i will find out later. I would advise this mouse to anyone, This mouse created a large distinction on my FPS games, I used say impossible shots, now I am the 1 carrying out impossible shots lol. I am ussually among top rated players in frags now xD ... Initially mouse that I personal with higher DPI, employed to personal 400 dpi optical mouse. Excellent Adjust. I am undertaking fine withou the weights.

Great mouse, the on the fly DPS switch is in a wonderful spot for me, enjoy the weights, 6000 DPI isent for everyone, but i appreciate it....when it works when the laser performs its fantastic, but it has some critical tracking problems, wont perform on my desk, and the GHOST mousepad i dunno if its the style on it or the mouse but it has genuinely terrible tracking on it(cursor skips around on screen). I have to lift the mouse off and put it back down, at times unplug it and plug it back in to get it to operate. occasionally that dosent do something, i have attempted it with Ideal tracking on and off, and the issue nevertheless is really jerkey. Im going to try a various mouse pad tonite to see if its the pad or the mouse(most most likely the mouse) I dont recomend this mouse, the avg gamer dosent will need/use 6000 DPI, its way to rapid, most gamers i have met use anyplace involving 1500-3000 when playing FPS. this is the 1st gaming mouse i have purchased in 4 years to see if it was worth the cash(been usin some cheep Logitech mouse) and so far it wasent worth it, just like the final gaming mouse i bought(a Razor)

6000+dpi with 4 settings that can be modded with the provided computer software. The stock settings are as followsɅ. 0810 dpitwo. 1620 dpi3. 3240 dpifour. 6030 dpiThe button placements are great. A Key plus for this mouse is that the dpi settings can be switched on the fly with the center button below the wheel and NOT by holding the left and correct mouse buttons for 2 seconds or so. It has no holes to fornicate with? I hope Gigabyte continues producing this model for years to come. As soon as this mouse dies like all eventually do, I will most undoubtedly obtain yet another one of these.

I've been using laser gaming mice for 9 years and this is a good quality item. Tracks extremely well at 6030dpi. Integrated application is intuitive and easy to use. Macros are critical to me as well as on the fly dpi/profile switching. Ergo is a little taller than I'm applied to but quite comfy. The weight method is almost typical in gaming mice so its wonderful to see it integrated. Gigabyte actually nailed it with this providing!! Nice Job! Just got the mouse and haven't had any hiccups installing software or employing the mouse, so....none! I recommend this product to everyone severe about their gaming rig! You will not be disappointed. Oh and thanks to Newegg/Gigabyte for bundling the Ghost mousepad. It's tracking wonderfully with the M8000X.

Quite smooth and responsive. Certainly hits challenging had been it counts, the adjustable DPi comes in handy far more than you think. Scroll whell feels really sturdy. It also looks truly cool! The "feet" on the bottom are just stickers! flimsy plastic stickers. Within the initial month the back sticker peeled its way off and I was left with a sticky non slidable surface. I finally identified the replacement feet the conveniently offer with it. Needless to say immediately after an additional month or so that a single peeled back and hindered mouse motion as nicely. I am no longer in a position to use this mouse. They do not sell replacement feet anywhere. I genuinely like this mouse, sadly they overlooked one straightforward flaw. Back to my mx510.

Leading notch specs; great construction (solid supplies). "Hyperscrolling" style wheel a la Logitech, which is a intelligent feature to adopt and shows that they have a excellent eye for the winning attributes of their competitors. Priced above the reigning champ at the moment, the G500, in spite of Gigabyte getting not verified themselves in this market place. No long term record of reliability. Gigabyte appears to have decided to push into the accessory enterprise, releasing competitive mice and keyboards. It's going to take some time and a generation or two of improvements as they learn the ropes. They've changed the shape of this mouse slightly from the 8000, which means they're listening to feedback and actively evolving their lineup. Watch this page to see if it made a distinction. What they should realize is that with no a established name in this marketplace, they may not be able to get away with the cost points they've set, even if they're justified. I genuinely like what they're doing, and how they are focusing on developing solutions with a solid construction that can be felt. If they're smart, they'll go for the "Top high quality at a lower price tag" marketplace that businesses like Rosewill have pioneered with mixed results. Hold an eye on this organization. I'll be acquiring their products as much as is within my suggests in order to run them through the paces.

This WAS a good mouse. Really sensitive and good for FPS gaming. Help department replaced it quickly. Died within two months. Replacement died inside 1 month. I gave up and went back to my Logitech 518. Logitech's are a additional solid product but stay away from the G9. It suffered from specifically the identical issues. Fantastic mouse but too short of a life span. I am a gamer but do not abuse my mice.

Macros, Weight Adjustments and an contour that was created by humans for humans. Created for Large hands like mine =D It does not make infant mice =D It is a extremely comfortable mouse not like Logitech's/Microsoft's a single design and style catch all ergonomic styles that are produced for standard sized hands... it is not a poor factor although I'd call them far more of a medium size. I would relate this mouse as more of a larger size. Its the contours that are deeper and steeper (look at the pics) that I let a bigger hands a lot more comfort. This of course is not to say that it will be uncomfortable for normal size hands. It is that it will allow individuals with bigger hands true ergonomic comfort. I game frequently on computer so comfort is key to me. Macros are easy to make and on the appropriate side the button allows you to transform your profile on the fly. Also when you do alter your profile it alterations the color behind the 'Ghost' logo on the prime of the mouse. This mouse has to be lifted above 1Ǚ of an inch to lose tracking.

Ok. This is my third critique. My mouse had stopped tracking on mousepads and it seems the problem was associated to the "perfect tracking precision" tool in the computer software. For some cause it was disabled and not calibrating. I enabled it and the mouse is stellar once again!Strange situation as I did not disable this function. Buggy software program? Obtain a single and if it stops tracking verify the PTP setting in the mouse GUI.

I also love the led function that shows what speed you've selected. None. Excellent purchase. Gigabyte truly nailed it on creating this mouse.

Great really feel, buttons in all the correct areas, tilt wheel. This mouse would be *perfect* in my opinion if it hadn't... ...Died immediately after two months. I bought it anyway after seeing people today complain about the top quality manage, hoping I would get lucky. Sadly, mine died, too. It's a genuine shame due to the fact this is such a good feeling mouse. That's not actually beneficial even though if the product fails to work, even though. If Gigabyte could get their top quality control difficulties worked out, this would be a great mouse. It *is* a amazing mouse until it randomly dies 1 you :(

Mouse is fantastic for individuals like me that have substantial hands. Incredibly comfortable and has a great amount of features Like others have stated the tracking goes to hell just about every so frequently. I have to unplug the usb and plug it back in once more. Most of the time that clears it up. Gigabyte demands to address that ahead of I devote dollars on a different 1 of their mice. Perhaps a firmware or software program fix gigabyte? Would be good seeing we spent upwords of โ+ on your mouse. Like I stated above, the mouse if a excellent fit and is great when its tracking correctly. Gigabyte requirements to fix the issue at hand. I am not the only 1 complaining about this problem.

Quite Accurate, and weights are good for the feel. The button on the correct hand side of the mouse is not programmableThe mouse stopped operating right after about 2 hours on the Gigabyte extreme gaming mouse pad. So I started using on my desktop worked there for about 40 minutes. Following that it stopped working all together. RMA Similar issue occurred with the next mouse. This would be a great mouse if they created all the buttons programmable, and had superior reliability.

Perfect for FPS game. I have been making use of many gaming mouse but this a single is very great.1/ The cost is really great for a FPS gamer. Evaluate to R..., this mouse is not poor at all. i had R... mice before but this is the finest. Not due to the fact of the price but also the mouse.two. I employed it from 2009 and it is just stopped operating. the GIGABYTE's assistance team mentioned: due to the fact of the duration of the click ⎖ million clicks] or the usb cable. So it is fantastic mouse for 2009 to 2011. Well, the weight is extremely great for me so i have nothing to say about the cons beside the warranty. The warranty is only 1 year so i dislike it.So cons: warranty.

This mouse is good, actually comfortable for those who use a palm grip. the on-the-fly dpi toggle is sweet no hesitation at all when toggling among the four settings. the scroll wheel has a good feel to it, its uncomplicated to use as button also. the glowing "ghost" on the palm can be alter a lot of unique colors or if thats not your issue black is also an solution =p. cons what cons?effectively I guess the final thumb button is kinda difficult to reach but thats truly nitpicking lead to its not that bad. great mouse, you genuinely cant go incorrect with this 1. Gigabyte understands its small business and its obvious with this mouse that they are out to own.
