Pros: Gives me more then 5 minutes to shutdown of save my work.Quite, no fan making loud noise like my last one.

Ok first here is what I have plugged into this unit. A PC 3.3ghz quad core. WD 1TB HD and 2 SSD drives. BFG GTX 260 OC Max core card. X-FI Titanium sound card. My 24 E2420HD monitor, G15 keyboard and mouse. Also a cordless phone. I ran the test today after charging the unit up for a couple days. I unplugged the power cord from the wall and after 5 min it showed 70 % battery remaining and that was with a 33% load. I must say that this was impressive for the size of the unit. A must for anyone who needs a good UPS for a good price. I got mine for $99.00

Cons: Software.

Pros: Low price when on sale or price matched.Easy to replace battery.
Comment:
I got this UPS 2 weeks ago on sale and so far it is working very well. The software that comes with it could be better but it does a good job of shutting down the computer in case of a power outage when you are not around.

Cons: Software provided, even after downloading the latest version.

Pros: easy setup, compact size, minimal heat production
Comment:
Happy with this unit, within 48 hours of setting it up I experienced a storm related outage.. and if the alarm hadn't gone off, I wouldn't have realized the power went out.Although only a couple of minutes went by so far am quite pleased with the hardware. The monitoring software is another matter, looks pretty, but doesn't always connect on startup. I downloaded the latest version from OPTI and still have similar results. I have no hesitation in suggesting this unit, especially when on sale. And although not Hardware related, the NCIX shipping was fast and efficient too.

Pros: price (on sale)
Comment:
I bought this UPS recently and there has been no storm or power outage so it's difficult to really evaluate how the UPS performs in those situations. But I didn't have any problem so far and I hope I won't in the future. Special price was great; I don't know if I would buy at the regular price of go with a know brand like Belkin or TrippLite.

Pros: Price- PMed to $89Backup time
Comment:
I bought this for my daughters computer. E2160 at 3Ghz, Gigabyte DS3 and a basic Geforce 7200GS. I get at least 12 minutes backup time out of this UPS. I own a belkin for my own computer and can say that this one runs alot cooler. My only pet peeve is the software, its very plain and can't set it up to email/text me when the power goes out like my Belkin does.

Great UPS for the price it will protect most of your equipment. The only problem is the software but if you are around the computer when there is a power failure there is no need to install it.

This is the 2nd UPS I owned (my previous one does not have enough juice for a safe shutdown after years of service). After a year with this unit, it is still working fine. I have tested with both my PC and monitor (CRT) pluged into the UPS. This unit gives enough time for me to safely shutdown my machine. The only weakness is the software, it is a little bit old and inflexible. However, since I shutdown my PC when I am not using it. I do not need the software at all.Overall, great product! Cons: could be the software, i havnt used it yet.

Pros: power for the price, size, not hot at all and outlets are spaced far enough apart that you can fit those big giant plug ins and still use the ones beside it

does its job, ive never used a UPS before but i think this one is awesome. i remember reading some reviews on the belkins getting really hot, this ones barely above room tempature

Cons: Firmware: The reported load level doesn't make any sense.

Pros: -It works.-Documentation is in correct English, not a small feat when coming from China, in my experience - so far.
Comment:
Two days after plugging it in, I decided to do some tests, on the protected outputs:-One 150W plain old light bulb reported about 30% (AC on).-One 60W plain old light bulb reported about 20% (AC on).-Three bulbs 150W+60W+60W reported 99-100%; at 100%, the Overload alarm was triggered (AC on).I removed the power cord and battery a few times; now the same 150W bulb reports 9%, when the TV is on; otherwise 0% (AC on). When I remove the AC, it shows 26%.I thought it would replace my old faithful TrippLite... Not anymore! It will just take some load off it (the Audio-Video part: DVR, VCR, etc.), instead of the other way around.

Pros: Uninterruptible power efficiency.Holds energy for quite a while.Good power protection.
Comment:
This UPS works so great! It keeps my LCD TV, computer, and stereo going while my power goes out every once in a while, which sucks, but still convenient that I don't have to worry about my devices suddenly shutting off. Plus this UPS holds energy for quite a while, and has good power protection!

Pros: QuietPowerful Battery

I bought two of these units because I have a rather large setup, they work perfectly when there is a brownout/blackout.No real complaints except that you don't have a whole lot of room for devices with large adapters.

Cons: The software is very, very, very, very, very, very horrible!

Pros: Cheap.Protects your computer from power surges/sags.
Comment:
This UPS was available at a very reasonable price, and was recommended in a forum thread by an NCIX employee. It seems to work fine, but the software that comes with it is so horrible I'm giving it one star. The software installer brought me back to the days of windows 95. I didn't hold it against the program, but the windows 95 feel stayed with me when I started the software and checked out its features. The software has 8 buttons across the top with very obscure images and no text. Textbook mystery-meat navigation. There are an array of status icons on the right, but they are also mystery meat. The software is very garish ranging from horribly placed deep blue text to HOT PINK text.I did a plug-pull test, and found the software used ONLY a TIMER to shut down the system, and in some cases, such as the battery backup coming on multiple times in a row (i.e. power goes on and off multiple times putting alot of draw on the battery), this can cause a loss of power before a graceful reboot. Luckily the software allows you to adjust the timing and that ameliorated the issue, but without the testing I would have never found the issue until it was too late. The software records when power outages occured, etc. However, it does NOT record when power sags or surges occur (at least it didn't the last 5 times they have happened). The software is quite annoying. At boot up it pops up a message that it has booted up above everything else on screen. You have to click ok to get rid of it. Similiar messages are popped up whenever something happens (except for sags & surges apparently). This is a decent UPS for the money, but the included software leaves a bad taste in my mouth meriting a single star. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will buy APC.

Cons: heavy (expensive to ship)

Pros: quietreliablerelatively cool
Comment:
I use 2 of these to power 3 systems (all in Antec Sonatas - 450W power supplies - and one is a RAID server with 5 HDDs) I dont have the USB plugged in as my systems stay on all the time. I bought these because almost every thunder storm seems to cause momentary power loss. Im not concerned about "safely" powering down as power losses rarely last more than a few seconds, so I don't have the USB cable attached nor the software installed. They sit side by side ontop of the towers and there have been no heat issues. All in all, a great product.

Pros: Small sizeIncludes usb cable

This is a good low end battery backup. I could stand some more time to shut down but for the price I wasn’t expecting much. I am running my system and two lcd displays off the back up outlets and the other three surge protected sockets protect the rest of my peripherals.
