Cons: - Retractable USB cable is very short and looks fragile
Pros: - Small, very portable- Cheap - Got it on sale for $4.95- 4 USB ports- Power light- Do what it's supposed to do, no issue so far- Worked on a old laptop from 2005, so it should work on pretty much anything today. Comment:
As a IT guy, I have to work on a variety of computers, and some of computers are old and doesn't have many USB ports. Also, laptops often has no more than 2 or 3 ports(I always plug a keyboard and mouse for better productivity, so there isn't much USB ports left). This HUB is tiny and easy to carry around and allows you to plug 3 more USB devices. Good accessory to carry in your tool box or laptop bag.The USB cable is retractable, so you only carry a small rectangle box. However, the cable is rather short, about 2" long, and is very thin, it looks fragile. On many desktop PC, the front USB ports are in the middle of the front panel, so you'll inevitably have the HUB hanging down on the thin cable, with all the weight of the cables plugged to it. In other words, I don't expect the cable to last for very long... I wish they used a thicker cable. |

I ordered this USB hub to give some extra connectivity on a newer laptop that only has one USB 2.0 port. So far I'm quite happy with the design of this hub and it worked straight away with no issues. I would recommend it if you are looking for a hub that does not require another source to power it. |

Works just fine, no technical problem. The cable is too short and that's an ergonomic problem to me. Very worth the price. Seem very sturdy. |

I really like this and it frees up some of my USB ports especially the one on the side. I use a USB mouse and have had it plugged into the side port where it was also in the way. Now I have that space and also a better setup. |

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Has a very short cord so you will need an extension if you plan to use on a desktop but great for travel with a laptop. Super value! |
