Had high hopes for what this was supposed to do, and the bottom line is that there was absolutely no change from the standard antenna that came with the router. I saw ZERO signal improvement! No further reach, nothing! Don't waiste your time.

I could connect to the router (about 300 feet away) before attaching this antenna to my computer. My signal was consistently labeled poor. Now my signal is consistently labeled good to that same router, and I can connect to the school's wireless which is about 800 feet away.

I replaced my 7dB Omni directional antenna with the HAI15SC and instantly the signal strength improved. No more dropouts. My access point is 500 feet away and now I have 1 to 2 bars where before I had none. It is nice they added converters for all types of routers and wifi card connections.

I had to rearrange my living room when I got new furniture. Since I was unable to use my VOIP phone because of connection issues... I purchased this antenna and instantly got about 15 new connections available. I live in a tight packed neighborhood and mooch off others wireless networks. If you need a boost, this is the antenna to get. No lie. Much love, mad respect. One.

Excellent product. The wireless desktop in the detached garage used to receive the signal from the wireless Linksys router that we have in the house(60 feet away and 2 walls) at 8 to 10mbps with poor signal strength. After I connected this antenna to the desktop I got excellent strength and 54mbps. Now I can see an average of 12 routers in my neighborhood instead of only 2. Highly recommended.

I am using a B/G series single pole PCI Card from HIRO and it really works well. I am picking up signals from other buildings around the campus at the Veterans Home. It is a winner.

Connected to my Linksys MC Extender for a better signal in my garage. Not sure on how well it transmits since i have the Belkin N1 Vision, but i can say that the signal did get better its placed down a straight hall upstairs in direct sight of the master bed where i keep my router. There is only a bathroom wall in its way and only about 30' of distance. I was sure that it would give a prefect singal but this was not the case. The Extender (maybe the problem do to its a Linksys) went from 1/4 the signal to 3/4 not in the HD sigal zone. But the STD cable is on stable. I did have to drill from the hall floor down to the garage (luckly its a corner and prefectly above the Extender), and learned that their is a a/c duct there hint, hint. Mounted it at the top of the base board and does not stand out too much, Good thing the cable is of a good size. Hope that this helps anyone tring to boost signal as i was. Overall i give it a Good rating do to the fact that i got a stable signal now.

I bought this antenna, it didn't improve the strength of the signal much, I can hardly tell if the antenna improved the signal in any way however the antenna has a professional look and a kick ass advertisement description that makes you want to buy it. fantastic!

This is a great antenna. It gives any wireless network amazing range. I reccomend this to anyone that needs that extra distance on their network. Only thing that buyers should be ware of is that is does not work for Linksys wireless routers. But for any other brands with one antenna, this will work great.

This is hands down the most powerful range extender I have used! I used it to piggyback on my neighbors wireless network (with permission of course). Without it, I got no signal, with it, voila! I mounted it by the window and bought 2 extension cords (lowers signal slightly) and it still worked just fine. I recommend this product to all. Hawking is number one in my book for extended range.

I'm using this with a cheap Foxcoon 802.11G PCI card. I'm able to pick up my neighbor's router from across the street on the other side of my house! This thing has the most gain you could possibly get for under $50. EXCELLENT performance.

I purchased this antenna in order to expand the range of my Linksys/Vonage router, which is in the poured concrete basement of my house. Before installation with the factory antenna on the router (there is only one), performance of my wireless network was limited to about half of the first floor of my house and with a weak signal at that. After installation of this antenna, which is extremely easy as long as the antenna you are replacing screws off, my speed is routinely above 54.0 Mbps (as opposed to less than 24.0) and with improved signal strength (3 to 4 bars as opposed to 2). I also can now get a signal on the second floor of my house in an open foyer area where I couldn't get any before. For the price offered here on Tigerdirect, it has definitely been worth the investment. I would imagine if this unit was placed on the first floor as opposed to the corner of a basement, the results would be even more dramatic.

When I pluged this into my PC wireless network card, I discovered that the product does work and it did increase the power from ''1 bar to ''3 bars''. When I first got it, I plugged it into a Linksys router and it made no improvement. My guess is that I needed two for a Linksys because that router has two antennas that switch back and forth. I bet it will work great on a D-link or any wireless device that has one antenna connection port. It has the standard size connector, plus it comes with adapters for larger (Linksys) and smaller (PCMCIA card). It also looks much nicer than most antennas.
