this is a R A I D "SERVER" kinda storage. i saw it on a review, and ppl said it's recommended fro ppl with home server. but i think the price is too much..... dont't u thinkd |
I thought this was a good deal for about 320 dollars. I had four 1TB HDDs lying around so I thought I could simply replace them and create a raid. The process is not so simple. You need to first delete the RAID that exists. Secondly, you need to remove the provided HDDs and add only ONE HDD at a time, and format it. Therefore, it's quite laborious. Overall, it functions well. The GUI is decent and I've had no major issues. However, I think the price is too high (~650CDN), and there are better alternatives.
