I used this cable to attach a Gigabyte GTX 550Ti (with Mini HDMI) to my HDTV (the full size HDMI). The 1080p video and stereo audio (don't have any more speakers) work fine with the cable. The cable itself is built well, and the connections at both the full-sized HDMI and the mini HDMI are snug (actually better than the HDMI to Mini HDMI adaptor that came with the video card). |

Had a NGear 6ft HDMI to HDMI mini cable. Would not work with my new Sony Camcorder to TVs and AV Switchers. Bought this cable and it worked the first time. So, I suppose the output from the Sony Camcorder is lower and the signal loss over 6ft with the NGear cable is so high that the receiving machines cannot decode it. So, the lesson is, not all cables are built the same... |
