Cons: somewhat short USB cable.
Pros: Size, Price, Design, Features Comment:
love this little hub, it looks so awesome, its not a big boxy square eye sore like so many out there, it looks great and you cant go wrong on price! the top usb mount works perfectly for my flash drives and i have used this little unit un powered for a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, and ps3 controller all at the same time. if you're worried it also comes with an AC adapter to supply power to the hub.you can use it either way tho, which i think is great.the only complaint is the usb cable supplied with it could have been a bit longer, say 10' total length maybe?still, hard to knock them on that and i cant give 4.5* so ill round up, 5* |

Cons: none so far.
Pros: Nice design on each port; I-ROCKS increases the distance between each port, so now I can use 2 flash drives and 2 dongles (one for wireless keyboard/mouse and one for Bluetooth). Solid quality; transfer rate is excellent. The power adapter is a bonus that I can charge my mp3 through this hub. Comment:
It's been 4 months and it's working; gotta give them 5 stars. the pacakge is good too; i bought one as gift for my dad. |

Cons: Slides around the desktop
Pros: Compact sizeTop-mount portCan be powered by AC adapter Comment:
This hub is very small (3.0 x 1.5 x 0.9 inches (LxWxH)), but has some decent features. Perhaps most useful is the top-mount port that is handy for devices that are constantly inserted and removed (e.g. USB flash drives, etc.).Other nice features are the ability to use the hub under bus power or self-power (with the included AC adapter). Also, all of the ports have overload protection -- a nice touch for such an inexpensive hub.Perhaps the only issue that I had with this device is that it's so light that it slides around the desktop. The base has a sticky rubber coating, but it's not enough to hold it securely. Basically, you need two hands to plug something in.Otherwise, the thing is well-built and works fine. |
I needed a powered 4 port hub and found this one. It solved all the problems I needed it to. I currently have it powering my Razer Lycosa and DeathAdder before sending them into a KVM switch and it does the job perfectly. Not to mention this Hub looks GREAT. No annoying LEDs. It does what it says and comes with a power cable. i-rocks gets +rep in my books.
