Cons: D pad makes mistakes in games, if you press up sometimes you hit the side. response of back key can be combersum.

Pros: Nice Easy feel in the hands, smooth design, bottom layout alright.
Comment:
the game controllor is great in the hands, being a non xbox playing coming from the sony side i was delited by the thum control positioning. the controllor is less likly to give you thumb strain.the botton layout is great other then the D pay that is way to fragile and frequently hit a side pad when you go up and down.also i would love to see the next controllor with the input botton on the bottom instead of the left upper.no complaints and woud buy aggain for games that allow you to play with a gamepad

Cons: nothing

Pros: exactly like the xbox version
Comment:
by far its the best feeling controller out on the market, this one is a nice deal considering you get the reciever and you can use it for your PC, games for windows GFWL work right out of the box with this and thats how i played fallout 3 on my pc. Its the EXACT SAMEcontroller as the xbox version but this one can also be used on pc.

Cons: Doesn't turn off

Pros: Comfortable, large, wireless, easy to use, works fine without configurations, feels good in the hand, better than the Logitech ones
Comment:
a really great controller better than all the other ones but the problem is that it doesn't turn off, you have to take the battery out and put it back in

Cons: - None

Pros: - Most ergonomic gamepad ever- Works with both your 360 and PC
Comment:
Sure mouse and keyboard reign supreme in the PC world but there are still games that work best with a gamepad, and this is simply the best you can get. If you have a 360, it'll make you an extra contoller.

Cons: -Wireless controllers cannot be close correctly in Windows desktop( we have to be in Xbox Live to close the wireless controller.)

Pros: Works on PC & 360 Comfortable
Comment:
Great controller, is probably the best default controller available for the PC. If you play games this is a must buy

Cons: not with the new dpad

Pros: an xbox 360 controller -- great joysticks, great buttons, works out of the box (with driver installation from windowsupdate)
Comment:
This is your typical wireless xbox 360 controller along with a USB dongle: great joysticks, great feel, works out of the box on Vista/7 from my experience. The dongle has a decent length of cord so you can position it wherever you'd like but I have no issues with keeping it under my desk.I only have one warning for anyone considering picking this up:For playing arcade games, I would advise against this product for one simple reason: this product has the old, original style dpad controller instead of the redesigned one Microsoft released in 2010. The old style dpad has some pretty horrid issues with precision (e.g. if you press right you press down-right ten percent of the time; good luck with pressing down-right accurately) making most platformers and fighting games near unplayable. This varies between controllers but its a general deficit of the older controller. (This has no relevance to games that use the analog sticks.) I will probably end up selling the controller to someone with an xbox 360 and buy an SKU with the redesigned controller.

Pros: Works with Xbox and PCOnly one controller footprint to get used to for both platforms
Comment:
Happy with this, I got this white one (instead of a black one) so I could tell which was the original controller that matches the PC receiver so when they are in a drawer I know which one I'm grabbing. So nice to only have to get used to the feel of one controller and be able to use it on both the XBox and the PC.

Cons: - Cost

Pros: + The 360 controller remains one of the most comfortable and competent that I've ever uesd+ Dongle allows up to 4 wireless controllers (think NBA Jam on MAME or any emulator for that matter)+ Controller has excellent battery life
Comment:
I've never owned a controller that I didn't end up wanting to break due to shortsighted design, until I met this thing: extremely comfortable, a robust set of buttons, and no noticeable latency issues. The dongle drivers meld nicely with windows as pressing the silver "home" button on the controller, allows you to view battery status and "quadrant position" (i.e. player 1-4). I had a 360 standing beside my PC for the longest time, and switching between both with the same controller was a breeze. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see native interaction on the desktop and Windows Media Player with the controller, allowing easy navigation through a desktop much like the 360 dashboard. Knowing the internet's obsessive pursuit of squeezing every bit of functionality out of our electronics, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that theres plenty of 3rd party programs to do this.

Cons: - price is a little high- thumbsticks get loose over time

Pros: - very comfortable- looks great- buttons respond accurately- battery life is very acceptable (~1 month on moderate use)- wireless
Comment:
This controller is amazing and makes my playing experience that much better. The controls are very responsive as there are very few (if any) instances of pressing buttons and nothing happening. The thumbsticks get a little loose after a few months. Setting the buttons for computer games is a little difficult, but I didn't try that hard to get it working and ended up using it with a 360 instead. This is the best controller I've ever used.

Cons: Max of 4 360 controllers to your PC (either wired or wireless). USB requires lots of power.

Pros: A 360 controller PLUS the now VERY DIFFICULT to find USB receiver for your PC
Comment:
There seems to be some confusion as to what exactly this product is. It contains 2 items in the package: a 360 controller and a USB adapter (not pictured) for using ANY 360 (driving wheel, fighting stick...) wireless device on your PC.MS used to sell the USB adapter ("Wireless Gaming Receiver" #B000HZFCT2) by itself years ago but stopped manufacturing them and finding one in a store is very difficult. The combo price for these 2 items is very reasonable.I love being able to take my 360 controllers and use them with MAME on my PC. Just like the 360 you are limited to having a max of 4 360 controllers connected to your PC at one time. It doesn't matter if you have 4 wireless and a wired... you'll still only have 4 show up in Windows. (You can use other controllers from other manufacturers though.)When looking for this product note that it is generally kept in the 'Computer/Gaming' section not the 'Console' section. If having issues with it not powering on check online for an explanation: the USB device requires a lot of power and a shared USB connection might not be delivering enough power.

Cons: - None

Pros: - Easy to setup- The controller is same one included with 360- Makes all your 360 wireless controllers (up to 4 per receiver) run on your PC- Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable AA's and these controllers were practically made for each other
Comment:
For the same price the local electronics stores charge for a single wireless controller, you can get a controller + PC receiver here. If you are a PC gamer, this is the solution to clunky mouse/keyboard controls in platformers and other third person games that don't require aiming.I had no problems with the drivers. Syncing is a little bit annoying as I have it in the same room as my Xbox. Everything is nearly plug and play out of the box.If you have been looking for a game controller for you PC and already have some 360 wireless controllers, this is ideal. If you only need one controller and don't care about a cord, check out the wired version of this.

Excellent gamepad. It's the most comfortable gamepad I've used, better than PS2, Logitech or any 3rd party one. It has a solid build quality. Has a rumble feature for certain games. Very easy to setup, plug and play (install drivers first).

Pros: Bought this for a friend. He want a good controler for is PC.

The controler do the job for the price. Better than MadCatz stuff or other 3rd party controler. If you get it on sales is the best choice.

Cons: Rechargeable batteries pretty much requiredMay interfere with other wireless devicesPrice is kind of steep

Pros: WirelessVery comfortableHighest level of compatibility you can findLittle to no setting up required for games
Comment:
If you're serious about gaming with a controller on your PC, rest assured, this is the controller you want to get. The only real downside, as listed, is the price, but in the long run it is certainly worth it.The wireless connectivity works great, and the controller is astonishingly comfortable. I purchased that Saitek gamepad here on NCIX before and in comparison it's not so hot. This may be $60 ($50 on sale), but Microsoft has built a great controller to ensure you get your money's worth. The other benefit here is compatibility -- with the myriad of other PC controllers out there, this is the only one officially supported by most games today. Some titles either won't detect your controller or will be a pain in the arse to set up. If only for that, pick this one up.

Cons: Keyboard still holds some advantages, occasionally disconects

Pros: Great for most games
Comment:
I played Halo 2 on my pc and this thing was perfect. I'm playing fallout 3 now, and I find I can't get head shots as well as I can with the mouse, but for some games is the best. I would say most sword fighting games, where you don't need a lot of accuracy in aiming. Occasionally disconnects, not sure if my 2.4ghz band is abnormally noisy here or what.

Cons: Heavy with batteries insideDrivers mess up audioDefault white color will get dirty eventually

Pros: Excellent compatibility with gamesSturdy buildPrecise controlsWireless has great rangeWireless receiver works with xbox 360 guitar hero controllerExpandable up to four controllers
Comment:
Great controller, is probably the best default controller available for the PC. It ensures compatibility with a large majority of games. Most of them will have default configurations for the xbox controller. The wireless receiver works with xbox 360 wireless guitar hero controller. It might work with other xbox 360 wireless peripherals. It does allow up to 4 other controllers to connect to a PC, and it's got great range. Excellent added value. The downside to the wireless controller is the weight of the controller. Compared to other gamepads, it's a fair bit heavier because of the batteries. It's not especially bothersome, but it takes getting used to if youre coming from a previous lightweight gamepad like me.

Cons: no battery indicator

Pros: Same as the Xbox360 controller
Comment:
If you like your Xbox360 controller, you will like this. They feel the same because they are the same product. The receiver allow you to connect your own 360 controller to the PC. The only thing to complain is there is no battery indicator on it. Even not on the screen if you install the driver. The controller stopped response once while I was playing. Only damage it caused was I have to re-play that level...
