Bought this laptop about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it more and more. The LCD is bright and clear, the LED makes such a difference. I5 is quick as it should supposed to, yet to experience any lag or delays. Keyboard is different and pretty easy to get used to. Window 7 is amazing, clean, and easy to use. Not as much bloatware than I expected so thats always a plus. Touchpad is great with the multitouch, makes browsing alot easier without a mouse. My only complaint is this dull whining noise from the HDD, maybe its just mine so I thinking about replacing it anyways with a 500. Beside that, this laptop has everything I need to be happy for 4 years until I get a new one. |

For the price you pay it's well worth it. I would even go as far as to say you get much more than what you pay for. As a tech student I definetly needed a laptop that could handle some power hungry programs. So believe me I shopped around for some time before making my decision. So this is a quick note for those searching for that near perfect notebook with close to unlimited capabilities, look no further! Pros: Very Fast, Quiet, Good for Gaming, Facial Recognition Logon is awesome, Blu Ray is a plus, Can handle any program you throw at it, Did I mention it's very fast?, Not alot of junk software, Need I go on? Cons: Battery Life, Touchpad (but a mouse will solve that), and last the built in speakers aren't that great, but get yourself surround sound and problem solved. |

I like the computer, my issues are not with ASUS as much as they are with the reseller. They added a blue-ray but no software to use it! I bought a blue-ray disc just to play with it and still haven't be able to use it because the software is so expensive! They should have told me that when I ordered it. Otherwise, I'm happy with my order. |

Pros - Out of the box it is sleek and gets lots of looks! It's light, extremely quiet and fast. It is not brown like it describes in fact the shell looks like carbon fiber. I have an ASUS motherboard so I validated myself by staying with ASUS for a laptop because they built very fine machine indeed. I also upgraded to Win 7 Pro and now can Remote into my office desktop...how sweet is that! And ASUS's facial recognition software...WOW! I'd write more but this squirrel is getting into my bird feeder... Cons - I had to get used to the keypad's sensitivity. |

Pro: good chipset, fast, nice videocard. good peripherals, smooth keyboard , also full keyboard. perfect for someone who wants a laptop that mainly goes from coffee table to couch to bed etc. not for students running back and forth from school cons: weak battery, display needs to be perfectly aligned, not TFT. i'm not crazy about track pad. |

From the moment I ordered this laptop my anticipation built and built. When it arrived a couple days later I am happy to say I was not disappointed. Looks sharp, Very fast, quiet and runs cool. Usually I do not like laptop keyboards, however, I am finding this one surprisingly comfortable. Simply an awesome deal, it is the best laptop I have ever had for this price. |

Pros: Boots fast, great graphics on gaming, not a lot of junk installed upon arrival, great keyboard, battery life is ok, Blu ray drive, hdmi out, all features are great. Cons: Blu ray drive si preesnt, but NO blu ray player software, which is expensive. |

To start, This Comp does great with On-Line gaming!!! Works great in working environment. I enjoy the speed it has, And the video memory is awesome. Can't wait to try the HDMI while gaming. Sound is good and the only knock on it is that the keys are not back lit. The full key board is a very nice touch. The mouse pad does does not move the cursor when typing. Very nice. Moving my old files was very simple with Win7. I just can't believe the speed. The price was just about where I thought it should be from the kind of system. This is my second Laptop, the first was a Toshiba, and it did okay. I check with others who use ASUS and they did not disappoint me. There is some bloatware but I can always remove that. Been using this laptop everyday for three weeks and have had no problems. I feel I made the best choice after shopping for several weeks of searching. I wanted the latest and I think I bought the best for now. BudOne |

I have been searching for awhile and this laptop is the a nice combo of performance for the money. It does come with software for Blu-Ray playback it just wasn't loaded until you put in the software disc. I get about 2-3 hours of use out of it on battery depending how heavy I'm using it. Asus is the best quality machine out there with the lowest rate of failures. You can be confident in this machine. |

I received my Asus K52Jr-X4 laptop and feel this is a comparable laptop to other performance laptops. The performance is very nice and smooth. I have installed the applications I use on a daily basis and have had no issues what so ever with them running. I would recomend this laptop to a gamer or professional with needs to run business class apps. |
