Cons: not yet find out.

Pros: 1. good brand, reliable2. lifetime warranty3. good deal4. XMP mode
Comment:
I bought it to match the memory required by the motherboard that was used to build of my new pc. It works well for me and runs great in XMP mode even though I haven't OC it. It is reliable because Kingston always provides good memory and lifetime warranty. I got it on a good deal for under $90. It is worth for the value. Cons: Get em' while they're cheap(er/ish)

Pros: Solid performance
Comment:
Bought to match the memory I have installed from original build on current box. For whatever reason it's now roughly twice as expensive as it used to be 2 years ago. Whatever, it's still cheaper than what I was forced to pay for MBs of memory years ago so still a good deal.

Basic LOW Profile Heat-spreader (without the silly fins or obnoxious design and style.)XMP Profile ProvidedWorks Effectively in Sandy Bridge Develop. Its Blue, Matches my Asus P8P67 Board.Goes on Sale generally. NONE (All 16 gigs 4x4gigs function at 1.55v) After reading the Datasheet on this ram I discovered this line:The SPDs are programmed to JEDEC commonlatency DDR3-1333MHz timing of 9-9-9 at 1.5VJEDEC common 1.5V ± .075V Power SupplySo in reality I knew this ram was meant to run at 1.5v (at a decrease clock of course by the SPD). Great voltage for my Sandy Bridge technique. Immediately after I enabled XMP in the bios the Ram clearly was told to run at v1.65 by the profile @ 1600mhz aka PC3 12800. Instead I undervolted the ram back to 1.55 and ran Memtest (must run v4.20), and not a single error. I believe I could in all probability go all the way to v1.five but it is operating at larger then spec so left it at v1.55 for very good measure.I purchased 16Gigs worth ƒ of these kits) and figuring out that they all worked stable with this many chips in the method just shows Excellent is there if you deal with it effectively. If your Handling RAM "Ground Oneself" to Discharge static, even ahead of handling the plastic packaging on this ram. RAM is a single of The Most sensitiv

I ought to have purchased this memory from the start off!Performs at 1600 speeds though the AMD architecture only supports 1333 by default. Overclocking is obviously expected; the ASUS M4A79XTD mobo easily set the memory speed and voltage to 1600 and 1.66v (was either 1.66 or 1.64; not a 1.65 setting). Ran much better at 1.66 vs. 1.64. Almost everything else was default or Auto and now works fine! The heatsinks are nice and discreet, not so massive to impede airflow.I bought this memory to replace memory purchased throughout the holidays that exhibited intermittent crashes to desktop. A genuinely great benchmark as of this writing is to run Battlefield Poor Company two with medium-higher settings. This memory runs stable for actually HOURS at a time! My prior (cheap) memory did not have the Ability to run this stable, and would crash no matter the BIOS settings. Do your homework to see the frequency of troubles with other brands of memory, then come back to Kingston when you want a method that performs! None that I can decide. Not a con but my setup is now:ASUS M4A79XTD EVO moboThis memory!AMD/ATI Gigabyte 6870 video with EyeFinity 3x videoAzza Hurrican caseAMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ955FBGMBOX Kingston SSD HD Mobo had stability concerns with the memory slots closest to the processor. This is a mobo difficulty and NOT a memory issue, but this might enable other folks if stability is an issue. I could only tun stable by installing in the memory slots farthest away from the processor. Also, the "auto" settings in the BIOS commonly don't function and want to be manually adjusted. I only had to adjust DRM speed and voltageAlso, Battlefield Poor Company two is notorious for crashes to desktop (poorly written code). These settings assist stabilize my method with the constructed-in soundcard and THIS memory:settings.ini:SpeakerCountɣGameSettings.ini:OriginalVOForEnemyTeamɢAlso delete DirectX files from BFBC2 folder (already in program folder anyway!)====Now BF2 plays for hours with no crashes to desktop! Make positive your memory is Kingston, other memory does not have the Skill to function. Don't take my word for it, do some searching and you'll promptly see what sort of memory has issues! :)

Ram is actually DDR3-1333 overclocked to DDR-1600 p 1.65VWhen first installed it will run at 1333 p 1.5V and needs to be manually overrided in the BIOS to run at 1600 p 1.65VIntel cpu's are designed to support DDR3-1333/1600MHz memory at 1.575V (1.5V ± 5%)1.65v may harm your cpu and Intel will not warranty it.I can see 1.65V for maybe 1866 or 2133MHz but 1600MHz would not buy agian, lot of cheaper choices running 1600 p 1.5V leaving more room for overclocking yourself if you choose to do so
