I bought this item on sale, and for Kingston's outstanding customer service from my previous purchase. Kingston RMA is extremely fast, it took me 5 business days when my previously purchased RAM failed. This RAM is a BEAST! I was very happy with XMP profile that took it to 1600MHz 9-9-9-27-1T u1.65V, but I wanted to squeeze out little bit more performance. By manually setting the timings and voltage, I was able to achieve 2000MHz 10-11-12-33-1T u1.63V. 2133MHz was also possible, but I chose to keep the timings tight. Incredible unadvertised performance! |

Cons: High density ram: will work only if your motherboard can detect 8gb ddr3 ram chips per slot. Tried in a computer that supported 4gb per slot and didn't work.

Bought this ram to upgrade a Lenovo computer supporting 8gb total ram (4gb per slot) and this ram didn't work. Ram is using high density chips, a single row of silicon chips. It will be detected if your motherboard supports 8gb chips per slot ONLY. I managed to swap ram I had in another tower for that Lenovo tower which was double sided (mushkin sileto ram bought here on ncix). |

I've used Kingston for years and never had issues. These days though, RAM is RAM and even though they provide lifetime warranties, the chances of the modules being replaced with something newer is greater than the modules going bad. Overall though, they work well and are a good purchase. |

I bought this RAM as part of an upgrade package for my aging system. I installed it onto a GA Z77M-D3H-MVP motherboard and plugged everything in and everything has been working smoothly ever since. Tried running the RAM at 1600 MHz and it required a voltage bump to 1.65 V just like stated in the specifications. All in all a truly plug and play experience with no hassle. Definitely would recommend to anyone building a budget or business system. |

really good looking and best performance for the price compared to all others with the same specs. the issue is that ram prices skyrocketed. if it werent for that they would have been maybe 20 dollars or more cheaper than what they are now but all we can do is wait till they dropp.s. this is the second time i buy this same kit
