Pros: Seems good with Mac
Comment:
Installed on late 2006 Intel core 2 duo, 2.16 GHz iMac, and it works great. The computer is much faster. No problems with CL4 timings (most mac-compatable RAM I saw was CL5).

Cons: 2 x 2 gb not really a weakness but im just complaining that they dont have 4gb stick for the same price

Pros: Awesome fast really good cost efficient upgrade for any laptop

i bought this to upgrade my 1gb laptop with failing memory (the store said it was un fixable) it wouldnt boot without new memory so i checked the memory and of course that was the problem so i went back and asked them how much it would be to install and they said (futureshop) they will upgrade me to 2gb for 150 and 200$ installed and i just built my desktop spending no more than 150$ on 8 gb of ram i thought that was a crazy expensive price and here you go 4gb twice the amount half the price NO hassle at all to install reallly good thanks alot ncix

These are a good RAM upgrade option for a Toshiba Satellite A100 Notebook computer. Installation was a breeze, and system recognized RAM on first boot.Very happy with my choice of this Kingston product.Recommended upgrade.

Pros: The best 2x2gb pack i could find.

I've used this for almost 2 years now. Bought this to replace the 1gb that was in my laptop. A night and day difference! My laptop gets a bit warm in the area where the memory is, but it happens with other sticks as well.I don't know if the 4-4-4-12 cas latency makes a difference compared to the sticks with a 5-5-5-15 latency.

Pros: Quick east install. No problems on boot up.

Installed quick and easy. Windows only recognized a little over 3GB because of 32-bit OS. I have heard a lot of positive things about this RAM.

put in my netbook and work right the way without drama. Windows 7 reads all 4gb but only 3.25gb usable due to 32 bit OS

Cons: A bit expensive.

Pros: Latency is nice.Dual channel.
Comment:
Works as advertised. Latency is consistent at CL4. 4GB of RAM for $100 is OK. So far no issues. Never had issues with Kingston's RAM.

Comment:
To be honest, I'm not sure if low latency RAM is worth the price premium, especially on a laptop, but it wasn't much more expensive than the regular stuff, especially when on sale. I didn't notice a performance increase from low latency other than the fact that my computer had less slow downs, but that was probably more from the 4GB of RAM than anything else. Kingston appears to be the only company that is doing this cutting edge low latency stuff on their laptop components though. At any rate, RAM is RAM. These worked straight out of the box. Passed a memory test without any problems. Good brand which means that you shouldn't have a problem with compatibility. It is made for dual channeling so you shouldn't have a problem there either. Pros: * Good quality* Good price

Bought a pre-built laptop but they charged more than the price of these for the upgrade from 1GB to 2GB. Ordered it with 1GB and slapped these in there. Memory speeds test only a touch better than the original but of course now there is much more of it.

Cons: always the money?

Pros: Lots of Ram!!!
Comment:
I installed this in my Acer 5100series with no problem whats so ever. I upgraded from 1gig to 4gig. the laptop only see 2.6gig of memory. Its more then enough for a laptop. I noticed a huge difference in multitasking. Before it would strungle going from one app to the next. Now there are no hickups! Gaming I get few more frams per second 5-8 It runs a much smoother. Larger battles are easyer to handle with the added memory. If you use your laptop for Internet, light gaming, and word then I would definity recomend getting more memory. You will see the difference. I have no regrets with what I have seen till now. The Hyper X mem is one of the best out there. As well as OCZ. You cant go wronge with either or. my 2 cents I hope this helps.

My Toshiba A100 quit. I took it to the shop and the guy says the RAM is dead. How much for a new 1 g stick? I ask. About $80 the guy says. I out the door and on my way to NCIX and for the same money I replace and double my system memory. Now if I can just figure out how to tweak the bios to take advantage of the CL 4. Cheers.
