I had inexpensive ram just before, 2gb of Geil RAM exact same speed, nevertheless have changed timings on this and gave my technique an overall efficiency upgrade to five.9 from five.four, this runs so much faster and so a lot superior. The style of it is also a plus None, haven't had any crashes due to my RAm since i got this As i stated the look of this RAM is incredible, i want it was a tiny more affordable, i got it when it had absolutely free shipping, but i do program on finding 2gb more so i can have 4gbs in my method, this RAM absolutely amazed me, i'll never get decrease finish parts once more soon after acquiring this

Oh man, this memory is phenomenal!! It is blazing quick, and big! I turned paging off on my personal computer, and I have never noticed a machine run this quickly! Operating on an Asus P5B-E mobo, with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600. I don't overclock. But I don't need to have to since if I did, I believe my brain would blow up. I had to RMA my first 1. One undesirable module. The other was fine, but I had to send them each back. It set me back a week and a half building my "ultimate personal computer". But, the second 1 is great, and BLAZING rapid This memory is excellent. I undoubtedly suggest it. I just don't see how it could get any superior. Newegg accepted the RMA without having question. Very good PC2 5300 RAM I guess Says PC2 6400 鷐MHz, 800MT/s) on the box and on the label, but truly PC2 5300 鶍MHz clock, 667MT/s). Reports itself to the motherboard as 333MHz. Runs steady at 800 with loose adequate timings, but I have to go into the BIOS and tweak it to get it to operate at the right speed. Come on, Kingston, how difficult is it to program the SPD appropriately? Downright sloppy, tends to make me wonder what other QA difficulties they may well have.

Rapid! Steady! Looks nice in the case it's in with two blue LED fans. Heat spreaders preserve it fairly cool. None so far! eight hours of Memtest86 and no issues. Defaults at DDR667 5-five-five-15 1.95V. Manually set it to DDR800 four-four-four-12 2.0V and it's really rapidly.

Really fast and surprisingly not very hot. Has to be manually overclocked to get the right settings on most boards. Some boards might not have the capability to do this. If you're finding one thing this quick odds are you're going to have a board that can OC to get the appropriate timings and voltage. Definately worth the purchase. Kingston doesn't have the gaming reputation of some competitors but definately doesn't lack the power to compete with them.

Runs effectively at suggested speed, voltage and timing (DDR2 800, 4-4-four-12, 2. V) Reasonable price tag, Appropriately programmed SPD works on initially boot with intel boards, Decent heat spreader If your board doesn't have an advanced bios with selectable RAM voltage and timing, you will only be able to run this at DDR2 800, five-five-five-18, and 1.8V. Thus I propose this only to knowledgeable users who are familiar with their motherboard and its bios. I run two of these dual channel kits Ɣ GB total) in my rig with an ASUS Commando motherboard, Core two Quad q6600 B3 stepping, and a single ATI Radeon x1950 and i can run Half Life two, and all other supply engine games with the settings maxed out at about 45 frames per second. I would certainly contemplate making use of kingston hyper-x ram in my next construct

properly it functions and the modules passed a hundred test cycles computer check six with flying colors. well packaged, alot of memory isnt, as if they dont care about esd. runs at 667. seems to be a widespread problm. thats probibly simply because of my unfamiliarity with ddr2. this is the first time i employed it. il try to tweak some timings right after some a lot more burn in time and see what occurs. nicely it appears cool

runs at four-4-four-12 like "prince of persia 1" on p366 with 64RAM Comparably high-priced, but it worths! I am buying another pair now. My ASUS P5KC LGA 775 did not like the less costly Corsair memory. No matter what memory settings I attempted. I decided to go safe and bought this Kingston. It was a very good decision

They can be quickly if you know how to set them adequately. They appear cool and keep cool. They detect at weird speed as absolutely everyone before me stated. Making use of CPU-Z mine says they're Pc2-5300. Strange. I had to over clock the ram. Operating it at four-four-4-12-1T at 711 mhz. <-- I know weird. At a single point I had them operating at 850 mhz but I felt that there was no true will need to be that higher.

After a couple of months of adjustments now running this RAM at four-four-3-12 23 at 821 Mhz, Stable, on GA-N680i-DQ6 (Rev 2.) Can't push voltage much with present BIOS (F4), nevertheless waiting for Gigabyte to update from orig bios for this board. Kingston is the most stable ram I have utilized. took a bit to get steady settings with my board but more than clocks nicely now.

Installed wonderfully on my M2N-SLI Deluxe. Heatspreaders preserve the RAM cool even in my rather hot personal computer room. I had to manually set the timings to 4-4-four-12, but that wasn't also considerably of a hassle. I advocate this RAM to any person who is seeking to create a new system.

The heat spreaders appear truly good. It appears to be rapidly and steady. none I purchased Kingston based largely on their reputation and warranty. I didn't count on it to appear so very good. A actually excellent deal, I got the low latency for about the same price tag as worth sticks.

It's Kingston. These aren't DDR800 sticks. They are DDR667. Certainly this RAM can run at DDR800 speeds, but you have to OC it to get it there. The specs on the modules in CPU-Z indicate these are speed 667 with five-five-five-15 timings, so that's what it defaults to. My MOBO is really restricted in its OC skills, so I couldn't get them to 800MHZ. It would seriously only run below Auto memory mode. I sent these back and got G.Skill as an alternative.

Price successful high overall performance memory. These modules are advertised as DDR2 PC6400 modules, but if check the Kingston Data sheet for these modules you will discover, "The SPD is programmedto JEDEC typical latency 667Mhz timing of 5-five-5-15 at 1.8V." As a result, if you are not apt to overclocking or your motherboard's BIOS does not enable for full control of timing and clock settings you could literally be "left holding the bag" (especially with New Eggs return policy on this form of item) with modules rated at DDR2 800 (PC2-6400) running at DDR-667 (PC-5300). *The SPD/JEDEC specification(s) ought to be disclosed by Kingston as well as New Egg up front, not hidden away in the information sheet*The scenario described above it the situation I ran into, although I in no way did appeal to New Egg to see if they would make an exception and allow me to exchange for, what you might refer to as, correct DDR-800 modules (i.e. Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX).
