I dont know but it has a wonderful price tag for the ram. I would say that it will be a pro for a lot of people that like to place immediately after market heatsinks in their cpu's, that this ram is not what it shows on the picture. It's truly smaller than the pictured a single. Not common ram. Its kinda half the size of the regular ram. I got type of confused when I saw it, and wondered a bit on what did I ordered, but I checked and the model matches. Just the image is incorrect. But I would say a lot of folks will like this ram due to being half the height of standard ram. Specially with the massive heatsinks that are accessible. So if you program to change the original heatsink and overclock your cpu then this will be the ram for u. Just received it and at this point there are no cons.

I just constructed my new laptop with 4 gb of this memory and it's nothing quick of awesome. The price is un-beatable and the functionality is top notch. I certainly advocate this memory.I just hope new-egg re stocks it, I strategy on acquiring 1-two additional sticks of this! NONE.

Bought it because I already had an identical DIMM to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB. 2 of these work with ASUS P8H61-M LX Plus R2.0 motherboard, no problem.

I ordered 3 of these, because the three-pack was discontinued. I was pleased that ncix price-matched me to the 3-pack price, cause these were a bit more expensive.Otherwise, no complaints, arrived quickly, worked out of the box. Now sporting 24GB of ram in my desktop, perfect for my vmware workstation setup.

I got this ram for a build I am performing at operate, necessary to be fairly higher functionality, but on a tight price range, and I ordered these due to them becoming DDR3, 4Gb, good evaluations, and other regular specs. I DID NOT notice they are low profile. Had to double verify to make confident I got what I ordered and that it would function. Functions wonderfully, match the budget, and so forth! They gave me a scare. Shame on you, Kingston! i7 - 3.2GHz 4 core, 3x4Gb RAM (this item), re-purposed Raptor300, 2TB Caviar Green, XFX 5770, 650w PSU, GMC Toast case. Newegg must carry the GMC instances, they truly are fairly good....

Upgraded my Dell Vostro 460 Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge (Win7 64 bit) with two 4GB sticks of this Kingston memory for a total of 10GB installed. Effortless set up and the memory sticks had been promptly recognized with absolutely no troubles. My Vostro is no longer sluggish when operating several programs. The Kingston memory modules are surprisingly shorter than modules supplied by Dell, but they match just fine. Kudos to newegg for delivering this memory on-time with no hassle. None to report The Kingston memory modules were uncomplicated to install but make confident that they are installed in pairs in the appropriate slots for dual channel help in Win7 64 bit. I utilised both the Microsoft Memory Diagnostic tool and Memtest86+ to confirm the newly installed memory; the Kingston memory modules passed all tests with flying colors. I have always relied on Kingston memory and have by no means been disappointed.

Performs best in a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P. At the moment running 8gb and will get the other eight later. Not truly a con but the Ram I received was distinct than pictured. The Ram I received was SUPER low profile at the height of the plastic stick retainers. It appears like the RAM pictured in the other Kingston 4gb DDR3 item http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820139398&cm_re=kingston_4gb_ddr3-_-20-139-398-_-ItemIts kinda nice mainly because I am running a Scythe Mugen 2 Heatsink which is large and this RAM clears it by additional than a inch. Excellent Ram and cheap. Buy it.

For the price, you can't go wrong. Especially for a cheap build. Definitely would recommend if you're simply looking for basic, cheap RAM. Kingston isn't a half bad brand.

These were the cheapest 4Gb modules that I could locate that had been listed on the compatibility list for the Shuttle SG41J1 Plus / SG41J1-VPH bare bones systems. They are surprisingly small in size which a plus in a tight Shuttle box. The BIOS had no challenge recognizing them and properly configuring them by SPD. These are CL9 as an alternative of CL7 and have no heat spreaders or heat sinks. These concerns are not relevant for my application, which is a general purpose browsing/email/office-variety machine. The only game I ever play is Solitaire. Hard-core gamers and tech junkies will want anything more quickly. I've constructed a lot of machines and I've under no circumstances had a bad knowledge with Kingston memory. I tend to favor this brand when the price is appropriate and when it suits my requires, as it is tricky to beat for reliability and compatibility.

Pros: Rock-solid reliability, compatibility, and price.

Kingston ValueRAM is my go-to RAM for any office machine or server. It's inexpensive, does not tend to exhibit funky compatibility problems, and I've yet to encounter any defective sticks despite installing a few hundred of them over the last two years. It doesn't sport a slick shiny heatsink or blinking lights, and doesn't overclock beyond its stated specs, but it is a reliable workhorse that will not let you down.

Pros: it works just fine during HD video playback
Comment:
Due to me pairing with Celeron it can only run at 1066, but it runs at 1.6v and at CL7. This pc was initially used as an HTPC for my friend. Today I got it back, because he got wd live tv or some such thing, and I just noticed the settings for voltage and CL. However the memory ran very well during playback of HD videos and is doing good now. I am thinking of getting another stick.

Truly chip 4gig chips. Fill up that mobo! Enjoys wide motherboard support. Will not overclock at all. Heatspreader version of these was just launched so you can get greater timings (cas 9, yuk) The benefits of this set truly really outweigh the timing concern
