Took out old, put in new, Works Fine! Replaced a 256MB DIMM with 2- 512MB. Extremely well packaged and protected, pre-tested, dependable. Prompt shipping, and receipt. Tested perfectly. No problems. More expensive than eBay, but worth it! |

The Kingston 512MB CL2.5 PC2100 DDR 266MHz Memory improved the speed of my computer when we installed two of these units. I am not very computer savey, so my son selected the product and did the installation. It seems to work really well. |

Couldn't find this in stores, and no matter WHAT the sales-person at Best Buy or Staples says, DDR1 is NOT backwards compatible. Found the chip here though, and my crappy motherboard is working great. |
