For the price, this cooling pad is awesome. It is very effective at keeping my laptop cool. It is ideal for the situation in which I'm most often using the laptop, which is to say docked to a KVM switch at work. If I were to use it more often without the external monitor there are a couple of issues that would bother me. 1. the flip up braces are too tall. When I try typing with the braces up they chafe on my wrists and are quite uncomfortable. 2. The lack of a usb port to replace the one it is taking. It is simply inconvenient. Obviously, neither of these issues was severe enough for me to be unhappy with the stand. There is much about it I appreciate. To address an issue a previous review commented on, I don't find it any less comfortable on my lap than a laptop alone. Anyway, I'm rambling... Good product. Excellent price. Great value. Enough said. |

It isn't quite what I had hoped it would be but it seems to to work ok. It is not comfortable to ut on your lap and the rotation aspect is not all that good unless you have it on a perfectly flat and solid surface. I would liked to have seen it come with a larger fan, or eve two fans the same size because I don't think it is cooling as well as it should. |

The fan on this makes no noise at all. The harddrive on my laptop is noisier. And it is very quiet. Great stand also. I would recomend this to anyone looking to keep their laptop,or notebook cooler. |

This is a great product. The fan is quiet and effective. In addition, I didn't even have to turn the fan on at all times because it enables raising the laptop thereby improving air-flow. |

I have own this laptop cooler for about a month now and it is a great addition to my home office equipment. Keeps my laptop from over heating. I only have one draw back that i have found. It does not have any additional usb ports on it. But for the cost and they way it works it is well worth the price. Ellis S |

A wonderful product which will inhance your computering not only from a cooling point but also adjusting the keyboard to a comfortable angle for you. I use it at the table so I cannot comment on using it on my lap. I do know that using it will keep the tablecloth from bunching up below the computer and blocking the air vents. |

Having had a few of these, I think this one will be with me for a while. Adjustable angle setting and the fact it swivles are nice features. The product this one replaced had foldable feet, which folded while using. This one has no feet that flop or fold and the fan unit latches securly at all angles. Oh and the USB fan cord is a decent length |

I agree with other reviewers about the hardness of the edge of this product. I have tried several things to try and cushion this because it has left grooves in my legs while wearing jeans. I have tried gluing foam to the edge. This wouldn't stay because of moving the stand about. The same goes for using foam weather stripping on the edge. I finally have resorted to either slipping a large piece of cardboard under it or using a small pillow. If it wasn't for how hard the edge is, I would have rated this product five stars all the way. It works well to cool my laptop which gets uncomfortably hot. The fan is quiet which is a plus in my book. I have found that adjusting the level of tilt rectifies the problem of the front braces pressing into my wrists as I type. I love the product, I just wish the manufacturer would find a solution to correct how hard the bottom edge is. |

I searched a lot for a cheap and good cooler for my Gateway P-7803HCA and this was the only one apart from a Zalman NC2000 that somebody praised for this laptop. Got it for $26.99 Just for anyone who's looking for a good cheap cooler, buy this... cut about 10C from my GPU temps and 15C from my CPU temps). only downside: Could've had more USB ports and could've been wider (it's width is less than my laptop but holds it) Rubber pads on the ramp with fan would've prevented it from slipping, I might as well fit a strip of it myself :) |

This is a very nice unit for the price. It really drops the temps a great amount. Its very quite and the elevated feature eases typing. Its lite weight and size make it really easy to put in your laptop bag and take everywhere. I really like this unit and others have seen mine and bought one as well. |

This lap top cooler works great! My daughter loves it because she uses her laptop on her bed. We love it so much I am ordering one for myself! I gave hers to her for Christmas. The fan is silent! It keeps the laptop cool and we love the supports on the front to use it in bed. The swivel works great too. Cannot beat this and the price is awesome. |

I bought this for my husband for christmas to go with his new laptop. I like that it is adjustable in height, and the fan is quiet and it does the job of keeping the laptop quite cool. I was disappointed in the swivel as it does not work well on mine (it drags the table top slightly), and the tabs that hold the computer is place do stick up a bit. However for the price these are both minor inconveniences that I can live with. |

I recently purchased this cooler pad. . it is queit but really doesnt blow that much air. so I guess a little air movement is better than none at all. the tabs at front to hold the laptop stick up on my think pad and hit my wrist when typing. One point i really like is the swivel built into the base for easy pivoting to share with family and co workers. would i purchase another is still up in the air. you get what you pay for , it was worth the 20.00 bucks it cost, I really bought this for the wife, she likes to use her laptop in bed so i got this for her to put under her laptop and over the blankets so her laptop could breath, but she didn't like it, oh well. have a blessed day. |
Vantec LapCool TX Notebook Stand with Built-in Fan
I bought this product since the last product I bought from a local retail version stopped working. You can't even hear this product working but can tell when you touch the keyboard on the laptop it's not hot anymore. Would definitely recommend this product to people with laptops whos gets hot!
