what more can i say, other the fact that i have bought this almost a year and half ago, have been using it non stop for pretty much everything possible. Use it 24/7 as my Computer Monitor via the DVI connector. Use my Ps2 on the Component input, and also use it as my TV via the HDMI input with the HD cable box, I gotta say i love this TV/Monitor, the fact that it has all the features and inputs and yet it does not go over 250$ is what i love about it and plus its a Samsung which is known to have excellent tvs and monitors. you know what last thing you need to know that will make you choose this over any other, 3 YEARS WARRANTY which no other HDTV/LCD have. Trust me if you want quality/value and performance get it, you want regret it.

Greta buy on a budget. The stand isn't adjustable, but we've been using tv's that aren't adjustable. Nice option to replace a tv in a bedroom and combine it with a HTPC or with a gaming system. If you want your ears blown off, then look elsewhere or ad alternative speakers.

Cons: Audio isn't that great

Pros: Good size as a computer monitorVery pretty border designHas HDMI, Component, DVI, and VGA inputsComes with remote controlHas audio outEasy to use menu
Comment:
I bought this LCD because I wanted one that can allow me to input gaming consoles like Wii/XBox360/PS3. So I replaced my 21" for this one and I'm very happy with this purchase. This has all the inputs I need and it is very easy to change the input.Comes with 2 HDMI inputs (although I only needed one).Just a note that this is more like a TV than an actual computer monitor. However, due to its size, it's usable as a monitor. The only problem that I'm having (as well as others) is the audio quality. I wouldn't use the monitor's audio for anything. Good thing I have another set of speakers for my computer and so I'm just using that.

Cons: speakers are weaker than expected

Pros: working great as a TV so far.
Comment:
Had this LCD shipped all the way to Toronto. took 6 business days. Have been using it for a week and so far so good. No dead pixels...yet. using it as a TV, also as a 2nd monitor. screen is fantastic. only disappointment is the speaker...too weak in my opinion. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-12-09 04:34 PM

Cons: -Stand is not adjustable-Stand is flimsy-power button makes annoying sound-Not true 1080p-Kind of hard to set up the sound with everything..

Pros: -Attractive-Multi-purpose (TV, MONITOR, CONSOLE TV)-Good picture-Many inputs!
Comment:
I've had this thing for quite a while now and I must say that I have never regretted buying it ( I kinda regret not getting the bigger version though ).I use this thing as my main monitor, and as my TV for the PS3.The picture for my PS3 could be better, this is not true 1080p, but hey, for the price, how can I complain? It still looks great. This is an awesome monitor, I would buy it again, I really recommend it. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-24-09 12:33 PM

Cons: The stand doesn't feel really stable.. When I tried to put the monitor back in the box for a return, the stand wouldn't budge so now the box is bulkier than when I brought it home... but *I'm* not risking busting this thing before I return it.

Pros: Looks niceAll cables includedRemote keys makes sense and are placed well.
Comment:
Picture quality of Shaw Digital wasn't very good; the colours are pretty bad, the picture quality is not terribly sharp or clear. After 30 minutes futzing with fine-tuning, still couldn't get anything as good as my $99 Tobisha TV. I knew this may be a problem before buying but not being able to see what the monitor was like 'live' at a store, I still thought the unit worth the chance of a 15% restocking fee (which should come out to roughly $40 based on the retail price plus whatever a courier will cost to return it on Monday). The monitor did not play nice with my DVD player (an iView unit with USB output as well as standard DVD). The Composition set-up gave me a worse picture than running off Shaw digital cable, the set-up was weird in that I couldn't get any sound if I used the DVD but I could if I used the USB output on the iView. Yes, yes. The iView is cheap and who knows which piece of equipment was at fault but the iView has *exactly* the features I wanted, the tv/monitor was more of a let's-take-a-calculated-chance-and-fling-down-the-credit-card purchase. It did nicely as an external monitor running off my Dell Mini running OS X through the VGA cable, though. The whites were a bit too glaring and the other colours a bit mute but it sure did a nice job aside from that. And the fact that VGA and some composite cables were included was a nice bonus. If I had HD and my iView worked with no problems or I wanted a monitor that just happened to do double-duty as a TV, I would probably be over the moon with the Samsung. Unfortunately, I think this is a very good product but just not a good match for what I need; as little hassle as possible getting good, clear, colour-correct TV reception through Shaw Digital and for my cheapo (though, really, can you call a $120-ish 'cheap' anymore?) DVD player to play nice. So, Samsy, I find myself sad that this potentially hot affair was so short and still-born, but not freakin' glad to be rid of you like I've experienced with some other products who offered so much and gave so little. Adieu and may someone else be lucky enough to get you [insert  sad, slow violins].

Cons: Very poor stand

Pros: Picture QualityLooks really nice
Comment:
This monitor looks very nice. It's too bad it comes with an horrible stand. It was very difficult to attach, and was slightly wobbly. Picture quality was VERY good considering it's a TN. A little on the pricey side, but if you can get it on sale you won't be disappointed.

Comment:
I was looking for a small LCD TV to use as a monitor, and this was the cheapest one. Overall, I'm satisfied but a little disappointed. With my PC hooked up through DVI, all I could tweak was the contrast, brightness, sharpness and color temperature, and you can't even tweak the RGB color tone to your liking with DVI.The other negative is the poor vertical viewing angle. You pretty much have to be at eye level otherwise the picture changes dramatically. And lastly, even if your at eye level, the bottom of the screen looks noticeably brighter than the top. With the backlight high enough, you can notice some backlight bleeding around the edges, but with an adequate backlight setting of 3-5, it's not that noticeable.Despite the flaws, I'm satisfied with it considering what I'm using it for. I might be a little picky coming from someone who has owned some high-end LCD TV'sEdit: After playing around some more, the viewing angles aren't as bad as I originally thought. Watching videos on my PC made the viewing angles appear worse than they really were. In the Nvidia control panel, I forced it to RGB Full and videos look a lot better now and the bottom of the screen doesn't appear brighter than the top. However, when I watch DVD movies and some cable TV channels, the bottom still appears brighter than the top - this leads me to believe it's a color space issue (monitor is native 0-255 whereas most video content is 16-235 and most TV's are native 16-235).With that said, I now give it a 4/5 all things considered. Cons: none apparent

Pros: Lots of inputs
Comment:
This monitor is a great piece of equipment. You may use it as a regular TV by plugging a coax into it or if you wish, just plug an HDTV STB into it with HDMI or component. I also make use of the second HDMI input by connecting it to the DVI outlet of my video card which (ATI 4850 with sound processor) for my computer's display. The built-in speakers are not the cheap variety normally found in monitors. My neighbors can attest to that as they have complained about loud programs, lol.All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend this very good monitor.

Cons: cannot have direct audio out with monitor in sleep mode. I use it to play music and use it to control speakers connected to its headphone jack, without monitor working there is no juice or signal passing to the headphones so kinda suks. Not really a weakeness

Pros: looks decent and got a shine to it.

Its an alright screen, on windows xp 1280x846 res. works the best else its too sharp for my needs. came with no dead pixels so that was a plus.

I bought this monitor when I was living in University residence since I needed a monitor for my PC and did not want to bring a TV as well. This monitor has worked out great for my PC as well as playing my Wii on. I would definitely by this again.

Cons: I do not think it would take much to improve the sound on the built in speakers.

Pros: Price, Warranty and good overall apperance

Cons: Can't connect speakers easily. Does anyone know how to connect external speakers other than ones that accept optical signals? If optical only works, then what brands/models to use?

Pros: First HDMI tv/monitor so I'm not sure what to expect. But not as good as larger HDMI TVs I've seen. But better than my old CRT. I like the TV/PC/HDMI sources on one unit. I get over the air TV signals free too.
Comment:
Overall I'm pleased, except for the speaker issue.Too bad I can't get the external speakers connected to my PC to work in TV and HDMI modes.

Cons: - Useless for those who aren'T gonna use the tuner... as this is 5ms unlike the Samsung 2253BW of 2ms and 54$ cheaper.

Pros: - Price when on limited quantity sale AND price-matched (253.88$)- Good for those who need a TV tuner.
Comment:
I ordered this then instead of returning it at NCIX I sold it to make a little money and get the 2253BW instead for my aunt's computer that I built. Some user on forum also say that its better to have a seperate tuner and I'd agree. Usualy (all-in-one) things aren't the best.

I bought one at 330$ , I love it soo much , when i saw it on special I can't resist but to buy another one . so far so good . only wish i had bought a bigger one ... 26" maybe ? lol ...will get one when it'll be cheaper

Cons: non VESA mountable. Needs special attachment that has been on back order for the past 2 months.

Pros: Many Inputs (especially 2 HDMI)
Comment:
The monitor is great and not only is the picture quality great, it just looks amazing. Makes a nice centerpiece for the desk. Not a big fan of the 'buttonless' on/off switch. Sometimes you don't know whether you pushed the sensor hard enough for it to turn on.

Cons: Color reproductions is below average

Pros: StylishBoth a Monitor and LCD TV w tuner
Comment:
This is a great solution if space is limited and you need the fleixibiltiy of a variety of inputs. I own three Samsung 22" LCD monitors and two Samsung 220HD lcd/monitors.The first thing I noticed is that the color reproduction is not as good as the lcd monitor only displays. I consider my regular lcd monitors to have good color and picture display. These lcd tv monitors (especially when you run them from the vga) display a clear picture but with slightly washed out color. Using the DVI cable and a good video card gets you average quality color reproduction. If the color quality were better this would be a 5 out of 5 instead of a 3.5 out of 5.

Cons: -shaky stand-touch power button (w/ significant delay)

Pros: -excellent styling-full featured-comes with DVI, VGA, and Audio cable
Comment:
I noticed when you first assemble the stand you have to use a bit of force to tilt it, but once it goes once its easier and it holds the position well. The side buttons for volume, channel, menu, & power are hard to use as the label is on the side, however, I preferred to use the included remote anyways. The 22 inch is pretty big, but on sale I would go with the 24 inch. I think its worth while to get HD version as there are tons of features included.

Cons: Out of the box settings. Stand is weak/wobbly.Some backlight bleeding along the bottom and at left lower corner

Pros: Very stylish and no dead pixels.Reasonably fast for gaming.
Comment:
This is my first lcd monitor.Colour and image quality out of the box was not good but after a lot of tweaking and adjusting it's now quite impressive. For a combination monitor/tv it works very well. Have not noticed much ghosting and lag in games. Will eventually move up to a 24" monitor and this will go to the kids who will make more use of the TV in this monitor.

Cons: 5ms is a bit slow for a response time, 2ms would be better but that's the only "combo" model in that size that fit my desktop.

Pros: Aesthetics look great, greak TV quality. No dead pixels, and the backlight is quite uniform.
Comment:
Bought this to be able to watch TV in the same room my computer is. Also, the dual HDMI is great to hookup a Xbox 360 and your computer if you've got a recent 3D card.
