Cons: The stand is very flimsy and on mine somewhat wobbly. This is the most disappointing fact about the monitor. I don't understand how samsung let this stand design get into production. maybe they sacrificed quality for design?
Pros: This is a very stylish monitor with good display quality but not fantastic. It looks good on the desk top with all of its shiny plastic. Comment:
I could not recommend the monitor to anyone because of the support stand. Besides that, it is at best, a mediocre monitor in all aspects. |

Pros: LCD is Brighter and thinner whiling using less energyno dead pixel but never really had this issue with any LCD's Comment:
I needed dual monitor and needed a good refresh rate at 2MS and this got to be the cream of the crop. I just purchased one and now plan on getting another one to replacing my old 226BW 22. SAMSUNG IS AWESOMEAmazing monitor for the money! Love the hidden touch controls and some of the extra eco features like the automatic brightness adjustment. It looks amazing and is super thin. The combined DVI/VGA cable results in only one input at the back of the monitor; very clever.I am going from a 24" 16:10 LCD to this 23" 16:9 & there is a significant loss of display area. But the price is a fraction of what I paid for the 24 & it displays much better.AND YES THE MONITOR DOES TILT!! You can't go wrong buying this monitor. |

Bought this for a family member and she choosed it just because of the look and I have to admit that this monitor is very beautiful . Also the image is clear, 1920x1080 for a 23" seems perfect, no dead pixel on it. |

Very pleased with this monitor for the price. Great value, the esthetics are really nice, the bezel kinda feels like a aero glass window. The buttons are also a nice touch. Good quality overall, just takes some getting used to for adjusting the height at first. Eco-friendlier too.. |

I've been using this monitor for a couple of days and I'm satisfied. This is easily the best looking PC monitor I have ever seen. I read other reviews that mentioned issues with the picture quality and colors. I don't see any. Everything looks perfect.The monitor's tilt can't be adjusted. I don't mind because the default tilt is perfect for me, but I can see how this could annoy someone with a different height, chair and desk setup. The only downsides to this monitor is that its DVI input only but comes with DVI->VGA cable, NO other inputs. Also its shiny so dust and finger prints show easily. I have two of these for my workstation and I am extremly happy with them. The monitor has touch screen buttons so no physical buttons to mess up. It has great Contrast ratio, and Image quality is superb.They are slim and very light. Only other thing is I wish these had screw mount holes on the back. |

Okay, this is a seriously NICE monitor. Big screen, lively colours, thin, low power demands, etc. The monitor stand is weak and does wiggle a bit, but everything else about this unit is top-notch. This is not a serious detration for me at all. NOTE: the manual and all documentation say the DVI-DVI cable is optional, however it IS INCLUDED with this unit. There is also a VGA-DVI cable included for analog connections. Samsung monitors rock and I'm not sure why anyone would pay money for a lesser brand. This is excellent value for the money! |

It's a huge upgrade for me and the extra pixels are something i never thought would make such a big difference. From a 20" to a 23" the difference is really noticeable. My old Dell came with my mom's computer and she didn't like the wide screen so i took it over my old piece of junk and since then i haven't upgraded. I'm glad i finally did and even at full price this screen is worth every penny. I'm a gamer and i don't watch many, if any movies on my computer. I watch several videos but i'm a gamer and I was looking for the best screen for my gaming. The colours look amazing and even websites look sharper and better because the colour isn't so plain. If you are looking for a solid gaming screen then I'd highly recommend this one. I used to play games in 16:10 but now i prefer 16:9 and the transition was nothing but easy to make. I'm just extremely happy with my purchase and I love turning my screen on and off just because of the touch buttons and the way it lights up haha... it's worth every penny. |
