Overall I am still satisfied with the screen but the stand, oh my god, I have never seen such failure, it literally bends forward.As for the screen itself, after playing with the settings it finally gets nice, especially for games, I was really surprised by the quality picture. Also, touch sensitives buttons can be tricky at first when you're not used to it.Then again I'd give it 4 stars minus the stand but I got a stuck pixel after 2 hours of use. Hence the 3 stars rating. I've been a Samsung user for years but next time I will probably looking for another brand. |

love this monitor, has good color and purchased at a great price. If you need an adjustable hight stand, then look at other models, but if thats not an issue, this is a monitor to consider for your day-to-day desktop activities. Heavy graphic designers would want something better also. |

-a height adjustable stand would have been nice so I could line up the 2431 and the 931c that I have as a second monitor a little better as they are quite close to the same screen height (neither have a HAS), but that is not that big an issue as they are close enough

Purchased to upgrade my Samsung 931c monitor. Hooked the 931c one up as a second screen and I can say, looking side by side, the quality of the picture - brightness, sharpness, and most of all the colors on the 2431 are much better (both are running DVI).I have played around with dynamic contrast in the past, but was never a fan. However, the dynamic contrast on the 2431 works much better than what I have seen in the past. The LED backlight and the dynamic contrast makes the blacks much darker and the colors pop more than my old screen.I will say that there is a noticeable difference in the amount of ghosting - the 2431 is hands down better in this department than the 931.Wish I would have upgraded sooner. If I had enough room on my desk for a second bx2431 I would buy another in a heartbeat. |

-had some issues working with Radeon 4850 GPU that required switch to standard vga cable (fix in Catalyst software)
Pros: -excellent picture quality and response time when playing games such as Bad Company 2-does not take up a lot of desk real estate considering the size due to nice thin profile-rock solid Samsung quality Comment:
I was fortunate in that I had a fairly open budget when looking at panels last month. Of all the ones I looked at, this product came out on top re quality, response time, resolution and price. Despite the issue with initial setup on my video card, I would highly recommend this monitor for anyone using it for gaming, video, etc. |

When I first unboxed this monitor, I was amazed at how far the technology has gone into reducing the thickness of computer screens. My 4 year old LCD is nearly 3 times as thick, and weighs twice as much. I expected to have a large standard power cable for the monitor too, but to my surprise it came with a small plug that looked like it belonged in a netbook. The power consumption on this monitor is impressively low considering it's size.The general design of the monitor is very modern looking with rounded edges and a flimy yet sleek base. The finish however is a shiny gloss black which you'll find yourself dusting off every 2 or 3 days. I personally am not a fan of the rounded sleek design, but no reason to have that as a con.At the bottom of the monitor however, you have 5 small little menu "buttons". These touch-sensitive sensors can rather small, and leave a lot to be desired in an interface.The menu really isn't that great either, and while you do have lots of options, they aren't very clearly marked.When first installing this with my HD 6970 card however, there was a one inch black margin around my display and the actual end of the monitor. A bit of fiddling around in CCC (aspect ratio was defaulted at 70% with this monitor) fixed the issue. Colours look marginally better than my LCD, and the response time is wonderful in games and such. Two HDMI and a VGA in the back keeps things fairly simple.Overall, I would purchase this monitor again; maybe two more in eyefinity once budget permits. With a bit of work to the menu and stand, this could be an excellent monitor. |

Got this item when it was on sale. Pretty good deal. I've been experiencing some problems attaching a HDMI cable to my ASUS laptop - laptop won't sense the monitor but when I use a D-Sub it works perfectly fine. |

This is my first LED monitor and it looks amazing. I can easily tell the difference in picture quality compared to my old LCD monitor. The controls on the monitor are touch sensitive buttons which I wasn't even aware of when i made this purchase, and they are very responsive.The only downside to this monitor is the non-adjustable stand. The monitor will not be perpendicular to the surface it's placed on. It is slightly tilted downwards. |

This is one of the best displays I have ever had. My 3year old LCD is no match for this. This new LED LCD is far more superior. My only concern is that there is little bit of free play between the stand and the monitor. I can wiggle easily even with my little finger tip. Other than that I am great. |

Great LED as expected from Samsung. Amazing quality, good construction, looks great too. The only minor weakness is that the buttons at the bottom right for the monitor is not very responsive, sometimes you have to press it several times before it responses. But since you are likely to never use them once you have achieve the desired settings, it's no big deal. |

Got this monitor today and everything works great, except there seems to be a brownish blob shadow that appears for 2 seconds on the right side of the screen when it quickly changes from white to black. Have contacted NCIX regarding RMA and they requested I take pictures. Have sent them a video along with snapshots of the ugly blob. Will update once things get sorted out. |
