You really get what you pay for. Upgraded from a rocketraid 2320, and what a difference. Array creation for a 8 TB array was only a couple hours vs. 25 for the rocketraid. Not to mention this card has linux support directly in the kernel.Get the BBU for this card! Write speeds are awful without it. With the BBU this card is roughly 10x faster than my old RR2320.This card may be twice the price, but it is at least 10x faster. Well worth the extra money.
