InexpensiveOC in BIOS Ram clock speed not available in BIOS even although the board's major setting is supposed to be DDR3 1600. My Dual Channel, DDR3 1600 mhz G-Ability RAM is 1333 in the BIOS, and when manually changing the clock speed, no option for 1600 is present. Fairly disappointing. Genuinely disappointed with the RAM clock speed setting. Would be 5 eggs if this situation was rectified.

none DOA Board arrived DOA. ASRock has no customer service. Exchanged for new board with Newegg (great consumer service). Second board also arrived DOA. Returned it, didn't want to go through the exchange process a second time. A comprehensive waste of time & shipping dollars. Will get a non ASRock board subsequent time.

It fit in my case, lots of BIOS settings, external SATA ports After installing the LAN driver from the disk make certain you energy down and unplug your machine for a minute or so (also energy cycle your network equipment just to be certain). If you don't the onboard lan will not function till you do. The technique panel header pins for hdd led and power led are not documented correctly in manual (or possibly they just don't work at all). The Through audio drivers appear flaky. Attempted to change some audio settings and would have to reboot for the settings to take effect. But the major con kind me is it died only immediately after a week. I powered down my method a single night, then the subsequent morning it wouldn't even POST. No ryhme or reason, it just died.

Picked this up for my very first gaming computer make soon after reading great factors, and it went together flawlessly. Excellent value compared to related solutions, uncomplicated setup. None so far HD audio worked right out of the box, had to set up drivers to get the typical audio operating but no major deal.

140W processor support, currently handles the entire AM3 loved ones.4 DDR3 memory slots. Good for 64-bit OS.Lots of expansion slots for my needs. Which includes a PCIe x16 and an x4.Impressively full manual. Truly.Effortless to set up and boot. No on-board firewire help. Not something I'm likely to use, anyway. Audio drivers not automatically discovered by Windows 7. But they have been on the included CD.

This board supplies FSB , Core Voltage, Dimm Voltage, Multiplier and memory timing adjustment along with ACC for unlocking cores. The 2nd PCIE came in handy to connect a perc 5 Ƙ port SAS/SATA raid card) and worked really nicely in this setup with 2 15K sas drives. I have the board boot the personal computer automatically each day at 7ᚨam or begin back up from hibernation. this function is perfect. Could not unlock cores in my Phenom x2 540 but thats a lot more a challenge with the processor and danger that you take. Overclocks and undervolts the processor without having issue. Keeps processor cool. Supports phenom X6 and processors up to 140W. Place this board in a modified dell 490 box (had to reduce out the punch out on the back of the box) and break off a handful of standoffs. But functions wonderful with the 750W dell Power provide (You need to have the provide from XPS series). The board is good and had no difficulties with any of the MB functions.

suitable budget, simple to tune, straightforward install. didn't like that the autorun installer - it wanted to install a bunch of unneeded computer software as effectively. Also, had to dig around the CD to get the 32bit installers for XP - it didn't run the audio driver set up automatically. had to replace a five year old board that died. Found this a single at the suitable cost and had no issues installing it. I truly appreciate the "intelligent energy saver" system that comes with it, it tends to make a dramatic difference for lowering the energy use.

-four Slots for up to 16GB RAM-2 PCIE x16 slots, tho 1 runs at x4-Wonderful cost for every thing you get -With no USB three. or SATA III you may be far better off acquiring some thing else, particularly with AMD's Bulldozer on the way I bought this knowing it wouldn't be capable to take benefit of a lot of the newer devices coming out, but even with the current generation of technology I feel I can get a couple of years of fantastic use out of it.

4 memory slots, low-cost, and there are really two x16 slots in this according to the manual. Bloatware when you do the entire "install all" solution. Just be certain to install ONLY the drivers or you'll get tons of trial application installed. Very lame. Neglect the CD. Use a unique computer system and get the most current drivers off the net!

Started employing these boards in some low price AMD machines I have built and I have been surprised with the quality and stability with these boards!! One of them I applied for a entry gaming machine I built for a buddy and more than the previous year he has accomplished numerous upgrades with the CPU and RAM and video card and the thing is fast and handles OC really properly!?!?! None surprisingly!!!

the board appears nicely created and has some grand features for a low price 770 based mobo. The 770 chip runs the same as a 790X and I can OC my Athlon II x 3 425 from 2.7 to three.2GHz incredibly steady just by escalating the FSB freq. when you go to get rid of a SATA cable from any of the 4 red SATA connectors be ready to have the red plastic aspect keep on your SATA cable as it pulls away from the SATA contact fingers. If you're true savy with eye/hand co-ordination you'll be able to thread the make contact with fingers back by way of the holes in the plastic but if you bend even one make contact with then it's more than for certain. this board is excellent for a gaming rig/single graphics card setup but beware the Sata connector snaf-foo. For the value Two of the Sata red plastics came out but I managed to re-set up them and they perform like new (phew !!!) and a great thing, mainly because for what I paid for an open box version it wouldn't be worth doing an RMA.I would propose spending บ - ฟ far more for an open box MSI or Asus 770 mobo

It does every little thing the descriptions said it will. Lack of on board video is insignificant as I assume most of us right here are obtaining a separate graphics card. The "Auto" setting in BIOS for ram voltage was ridiculous, as it tried to pump 1.7v+ into my cheap 1600 ram, causing the method to randomly bsod. Manually adjusting the voltage gets the job performed. At this cost point, no big complaints. Just make certain you know what you are carrying out.

I've employed a lot of motherboards from other corporations this was my very first ASRock to construct with. It's a quite straightforward motherboard but had a fairly nice layout and wonderful price tag. Practically nothing seriously eventful... did not overclock. The pin stamping was incorrect (HD LED, PWR PED, PWR SWITCH, RESET). I knew it was wrong simply because of undertaking this fairly a bit but it was definitely incorrect. Not a major deal to me but noteworthy. I'm quite specific the board I received was black and not blue. This was for a pal so I can't just go appear but i'm 95% particular.

Full ATX Board, giving you four memory slots and 3 PCI-E slots. Exceptionally simple to configure and use. Basic overclocking- even a novice must be capable to clock a different 10-20 % speed out of nearly any AMD CPU. None for the value. The second PCI-E x16 slot is wired for x4, so there is small point putting in a second graphics card. But for a board in the price variety that is not sufficient to dock it an egg. Pair this board with a Athlon II CPU for a pc with very good speed at a great cost.

Does every thing it's supposed to Don't hit "istall all" on the drivers screen on the incorporated CD. That installs almost everything on the CD, not just the drivers. Threre's lots of absolute trash in there. Worse that you see on other boards. .... yuck. Took five minutes to un-set up it all, so not worth an egg. Appears to run fine with a double wide PICe graphics card and three PCI boards. No difficulty with spacing or fitting stuff in. G. Skill memory runs at 1600 with no any complaint.

Cost for attributes.Bios enables for uncomplicated unlocking and overclocking.Great board for a new builder that wants a budget system.Booted up with no an problem immediately after assembly.Compatible with x6 processorTwo rear external SATA ports that double as USB portsLots of USB portsComes with computer software to monitor hardware and even mess with the overclocking outdoors of the bios. Board overhang that has been talked about. Has not actually triggered me any troubles, still a very good thought to be cautious when plugging elements in.PCI x1 slot has limited space because of heat sink, but has not triggered me any difficulties simply because I'm not working with it. For the price tag and what is offered, I can not knock off a star due to the fact of the cons. If any troubles arise that need to be noted, I will update with a new critique.Only has 4 internal Sata ports, so if you strategy on carrying out RAID, you may possibly run out of ports.

This board came in a excellent packaged, undamaged (as far as I can see) and was effortless to match up to the risers for the ATX case I purchased. I have a high pitched buzz/hum noise coming from the onboard audio connection, and I don't truly know what to do about it. It seems to move with the mouse. This is a wonderful board with adequate adaptability for my utilizes, which is on the web schooling, some gaming, and a lot of multimedia.
