Cons: None that I've encountered

Pros: A good size (smaller than the tower I moved all the components from)
Comment:
I moved all the components over from a tower PC (mainstream off-the-shelf from big box store).Move over from the other Machine:AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core Processor 2.3 GHZ8 GIG RAM750 GIG HDNVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GT 512MB400W PSU (PERFECT FIT!)Added:Kingston Value SSD 65GB3 Antec Tri-Cool fansHauppauge HVR-2250Everything fits nice and the temperature probe mounted in the center of the case reads 18-20C at normal operation. It now sits on a shelf and acts as my Media Center.I would buy again.

Cons: The front grill gets clogged with dust easily. The dusty look is kinda ugly. The case isn't quite as easy to work in as a tower case.

Pros: Saves space (might printer can stack on top of it)Looks better in real life than it does in the pictures.
Comment:
I am very happy that I bought this case. I have stacked my printer on it to save space and the space savings is very valueable to me.My only complaint is that the front grill clogs with dust much more easily than my old case and the gray dust looks ugly. Maybe this wouldn't be a problem if I vacuumed my office more than twice a year.

Cons: Use the right size power supply, no more than 140mm unless you want to play around. One stand off short in parts bag.

Pros: Interesting looking, lots of room, great cooling for a cube. Very well thought out, even has a kickstand. NCIX great $75 price. Way better cooling than the Antec NSK1380.
Comment:
Antec Basiq 430watt is a perfect fit, 140mm. However I had a Earthwatt 650 on hand that is whisper quiet. There is a lot of talk about the PSU getting in the way of the hard drive cage or long optical drives. Well you could easily buy a $3 5.25 to 3.5 adapter if you only plan on running one optical drive to solve the hard drive clearance issue. I used the larger Antec earthwatt 650 and the stock hard drive cage by using right angle sata connectors and tucked the extra cables under my DVD drive. I also cut out the metal with my angle grinder under the PSU and ran my PSU upside down so I have a 120mm exhaust fan over my Northbridge and PVR 150. I have 3 Antec tri cool fans on order but so far its pretty quiet. AMD 125 watt processor.

I was hesitant to buy this case but I'm very pleased with it. Actually a lot nicer than the picture shows and is larger than appears so measure your space and compare to the spec sizes before you buy. The case has plenty of room inside I was able to put a full size power supply and 1TB HDD without any modification (Results may vary). Room for a nice size cpu cooler and full size graphics card as well. I think the orange display is a nice touch but if you don't like it unplug it. Stays nice and cool inside and has plenty of spots to place more fans if needed, I definitely recommend this case.

I spent a lot of timing trying to find an HTPC case that wasn't too deep, looked cool and was a good value. The pickings are very slim! This case was great. The split level design is fantastic for a quick and easy build. I've worked in a number of small matx cases and this has been the best by far. Even better than a lot of atx cases. I could do without the orange display with spinning fans on it. You can always unplug it. Again my overall opinion is best value for this segment that you can find.

I bought this for my first build after much deliberation and online research. I was hearing people complain about the PSU and the HDD issues but they did not deter me. I used a corsair VX550 PSU which gives me ample power for a GPU and other stuff for gaming. Note that if you are concerned about the PSU size just research ones with a 120mm fan, most of those should fit nice. Another PSU issue is ventilation. I used a dremel tool to cut the flooring of the second deck as the punch holes wont be good enough to vent air into the bottom facing PSU. I chose and ECS A785GM-M Black MoBo and installing it was a breeze with all accessiblity this case offers. I love it's sleekness and small form, and i am glad i chose it even though some people said it was a flawed case.

Great case, the flip open design makes it very easy to build and modify. If you plan on using a full size PS then just be ready to mod the case. I was able to move my HDD's next to my PS and it all works great.

I noticed there are reviewers that are complaining about the power supply room. One thing that will help is to use a notebook hard drive like I did. There are also higher power power supplies that are more compact than others so that is not a problem. I have a i5 micro ATX mobo in this and I have done this case with both air and exterior water cooling. This one is going to have air cooling but I haven't decided which unit to use for the cpu.

Cons: vertical hdd mount makes ide drives a little tight on the data ribbon

Pros: Nice design, small, good fit and finish.
Comment:
Built a HTPC using this case, installled 2 HDD and a optical , including the GPU space was a little tight.Sensor panel is little more than eye candy but it looks nice for the kiddies. This is not a bad case for the money, once priced match'd it was a bargain. Overall I am happy with the case, its small and looks nice a perfect addition to the entertainment unit.

Great Unit, but be very careful choosing a power source. 140mm depth is the limit and it takes regular ATX, not Micro ATX power source. Got a 150mm Ultra and had to rearrange a few internal trays to make it work.

Nice, solid built and functional. Exactly what I've been looking for, a small and quiet micro system. The only negative for me is the hard drive case is so close to the power supply, I can't put the hard drive there and have the cables butt against the PS cables, even with a moduler PS. I ended up using the CDROM slot. So be careful choosing your PS.

I like the case, however I could not give this case 5 stars for 3 reasons. 1. Be very careful when picking out your power supply. I knew that I needed a small ps, so I bought the ultra X4 400w ps. Big mistake! Apparently, you need a short power supply, but micro power supplies are to smallso the holes dont line up??? Im making a bracket to make it work. 2. If you like tooless cases keep moving. 3. The price is a little high for the quality provided. I still like the case and it makes a great media center.

Usually I only use thermaltake cases but I went out on a limb here and glad I did. The design is INSANE! The flip open like an expensive car is awesome and actually necessary. It makes accessing the MB a breeze. The air flow is top notch and that is with the stock fan. It is SUPER quiet so if you get some more fans (and it has the room for plenty) make sure they are quiet as well. I used a PSU (search my reviews to find it, can't link here) that had a bottom mount fan that takes in air off the MB and out though the PSU; best setup ever. The case is very roomy, dunno about vid cards, as this is a HTPC use for me. Very stylish, the pics do not do justice. LCD works really nice as well. I love this case. Only thing I didn't like was there was no documentation or anything else that came with it but some screws.

Everything fits fine in this little number, although the 140 mm limit on the PSU length is limiting. Only a few PSUs conform to the ATX form factor these days and they are all around 450W or less. I installed three more 80 mm case fans and the temp doesn't exceed 71F under load. Space is limited for SATA HDD connectors, rather a bit too tight. I mounted second SATA HD in empty 5.25 bay for more clearance. The LED display works well, I must have gotten a lucky one. Space saving size of unit is plus on the desktop.

This looked like a really cool case, I was looking for a small, compact footprint and this fit the bill. That is where it ends. I have yet to get the front USB ports working, the instructions were poor, and the hinge - its on the inside of the case. You have to remove the outer cover with 4 screws before it will hinge open. There is actually a little leg that holds it up too, but they never mention it in any of their "manuals". I picked the case up to turn it around and my hand was over the DVD doors and both of them came off. On one of them the hinge snapped off completely. They are to thin, so they bend very easily. I wrote the company (Aerocool) and they sent me another one - oh and it only cost me another $20 ($15 for the part and $5 for shipping and handling), so forget about any kind of "guarentee", there isn't one. If you bought one, its easier to remove that front cover to install the DVD players - it just pops off.

This case has proved to be pretty good. Only suffered 1 back of the hand scratch, the cables supplied for the front i/o are nice and long. The supplied 120 fan is quiet. Case is a fingerprint magnet. The only problem I have is with the lcd screen not displaying the temp properly. Heard it was an issue before I bought, but don't care. The case itself is nice enough w/o it.

I went looking for a stylish compact case with potential for running quietly 24/7; and found it in the AeroCool M40 Cube. My first build, transplanting components from a clunky and noisy standard case. As commented elsewhere, case finish is a bit basic (black gloss spray paint job), so don't scratch it. Also a bit of a squeeze between the HDD and PS, but do-able. Took the opportunity to upgrade the CPU fan to a Ruby Orb. Very pleased with the end result. And thank youfor a prompt delivery - a week sooner than I expected.

Cons: Could be a little longer to allow bigger, more powerful P/S, LCD panel colour choice would be nice (I would like blue too)

Pros: Easy to work with, visually pleasing, with slight modification you can put in a larger P/S, sturdy, good size

I built a PC using this case recently using the following components:DFI P45-T2RS mATX Crossfire boardIntel e8400 Core 2 Duo4 GB Corsair DDR2 PC6400Corsair 750W P/SSapphire 2GB 4870 VideoWestern Digital 1 TB SATA DriveLG DVD-R/RWI had to do a little metal cutting in order to fit the HD and the P/S, but it has worked out fine with the deeper P/S, and it has been working fine for the few weeks I have used it. A pretty easy case to work with.

I bought this as a change from an Apevia Qpack2, that had a nasty habit of shutting down my system whenever you touched the case. I REALLY like this case, nice set up, plenty of room in a cube case, and I like the fact I can install 3x 80mm fans. I did have to modify the case to get a SATA HDD to install without interfering with the PS. A few more holes would fix this issue though. Overall the case is sturdy, has nice features and works well.

Loved everything about the case, except the close quarters on the power supply/second-tier HDD location. Modifications required to get the SATA and power cables in place, short of purchasing a different power supply, and the recommended dimensions were spot-on. Other than that issue, it's the perfect little case! I'd buy it for another build in a heartbeat!
