six sata 6.0Gbs inputs, usb three., price, cost-free shipping, and 3yr warranty N/A runs excellent with my phenom II x 6 1090T three.2GHz cpu. i only have 4gbs of memory, but will upgrade to 8gb when win 8 comes out next year. 70 second boot up in win 7 64-bit OS.

Went collectively effectively and booted up with no difficulty the very first time. Great capabilities for the money. Absolutely nothing comes to thoughts for me. Paired this with an 'AMD Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz'. The board unlocked the 2nd core on that CPU for a nice, economical setup. Worked wonderful!

This board has it all. crossfire tech, usb 3, sata three, effortless ram upgrade, and core unlocker (though i dont care bout that). This mobo is a great foundation to almost everything that i have been hoping for. Drivers incorporated on disk did operate for the most component, but a few drivers had to be installed by windows seven online. But all in all every thing worked out just fine. Looks quite cool :)

None. This motherboard was DOA This motherboard is DOA. Only the green LED on the motherboard comes on when powered and practically nothing powers on pressing the energy switch. I tired carrying out a barebones test as effectively in order to eliminate a shorting possibility. In order to eradicate the PSU as the supply of the situation, I applied the PSU to energy on my older personal computer and it worked flawlessly.

Enjoy the USB three. and 6 Gbps information transfer capabilities. Reasonably priced and quite fast with my Quad Core! Even has an extra PCI-Express 2. slot for upgrading. none but No key noticable speed difference with six Gbps due to the fact I am making use of a typical 7200 rpm difficult drive. Even although its compatible iwth six Gbps, I'm positive the bottleneck is with the rpms...Not certain why they can't run two video cards at 16x16 or at least 16x8, but we are stuck with 16x4

None Due to sickness I could not set up motherboard when I received it. So now virtually two months later, I installed it and it won't post. tried two unique processors one was a six core 񡻂) the other a quad, four diverse brands of memory, and tested the energy supply. it would power up the fans , the challenging drive and optical drives. but no post beep no video could not even shut off the thing with holding the energy on button in. had to turn the energy switch off at the power supply. so now I have to send it back to Asus. I have not had any great luck with Asus or Gigabyte boards lately. Very disappointing.

Pretty excellent looking board. Capability to adjust pretty much every thing. I paired this with a 555BE and 8gb of Kingston HyperX1600Ɣx2GB), unlocked to the AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 B55 ProcessorƔC three.21Ghz, 2GHz IMC, 4x 512kB L2, 6MB L3) (so unlocked my extra quad-core cache) ࿊.32GOPS)࿦.55MPix/s) and with a cheapo graphics card(ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4350 ࿰ SM5. 650MHz 30%OC, 512MB DDR3 1.2Ghz 64-bit, PCIe 2.00 x16) Ɨ.55MPix/s) the 8gb ram ྫྷ.62GB/s), 1TB 7200rpm seagate ဂ.93MB/s), i get a total score of 558, which > a hexa-core gateway Ɩʂ.6ghz, 6gb ram and a 5450, which makes me content, + that my cpu is totally steady unless i go to 4ghz quad on stock cooler(dumb, but i did it) and that it unlocked my cache. i plug my wifi adapter into the usb3. ports due to the fact it just seems faster. the unlocker switch is good, every single after in awhile after i alter a thing, i can't boot with out very first turning the switch off. board is brown, but it's inside my case anyway. updating BIOS is simple, while i had difficulties because their web site auto-determine feature mis-identified my board and i didn't notice the slight variation in the name. some onboard usb headers shouldn't even be there because they result in troubles if the corresponding rear ports are being employed. Requires tweaking. (dur, it's an Oc'ing mobo.) The 1600 on this motherboard really should have the (O.C.) beside it, due to the fact that was a single of the deciding factors that led me to pick this board. i bought 1600 ram, it runs at 1333 unless i manually specify voltage and speed, in which case sisandra calls it overclocked 1333.

Board setup was fantastic for me, routing of power and SATA lines kept pretty clean. Steady due to the fact it has been operating, no concerns on hangs from application or mem. SOUND is HORRID. What do you count on from o/b sound? Effectively i count on far more than what I got, and what I got is just really hard to clarify from ASUS. I did get the latest BIOS just to see if sound enhanced. It did not.

Asus. This board worked for about 1 day. Just basically adequate to get it all running and every thing installed then I turn it on the next morning and it wont boot. From time to time the BIOS screen wont even load, at times it comes up but then freezes, other occasions it will commence to load the OS and then freeze halfway by way of. I anticipated much better from ASUS. Gonna RMA it. Finding a various board with a unique corporation.

It worked very first attempt, worked excellent, worked pefectly, Ideal board I've owned so far, Basic to setup, basic it mount. The built in sound was greater than my last asus board, so no complaints there. I can't think of anything undesirable to say. None so far.. Board is supposed to be as very good as the 赓.00 Asus board (not positive the model), they had been out of stock when I purchased, so I took a possibility on this one, and I agree that this is just as great as the a lot more costly a single. Get it, you wont regret it.

Straightforward Setup, even the BIOS. Enjoy the overclock prepared characteristics but have not utilized it but. I have read a different post about not possessing a help screw where the 24pin power connector is, I took caution when plugging in the energy connector thank you.Possibly from now on in the motherboard photographs, it must be pointed out where the mount areas are on a motherboard... just a thought. I think the support mounts can be important when assembling a Computer specially when you use your hands to support the back side for a moment... If I could I'd take half an egg rather 1 entire egg.

Extremely good board, on sale created it an effortless choic for a platform to place my AMD Phenom ii 965, also on sale! Read reviews advising to spot Ram in prior to setting MoBo inside case, thanx for the tip. Nothing I would delete and Egg for, but the read I/O plate is a pain, but they all are in my opinion. Also the 4 prong energy on the MoBo was a trick considering that I have a bottom loaded Energy Provide and it's on the opposite side of the board, run it below your PCI card notch up the side and pray! Again a lot more on me for a case with bottom PS than ASUS design. Just placing it out there, I study a lot of feed back and this board got some seriously undesirable reviews and some seriously great reviews. I myself take my time on a make, researching and making sure all components are compatible. I take precautions not to send a static shock via it. Fundamentally a lot of challenges can be avoided, i.e. going down the RMA path, with a tiny forethought into your develop and don't rush it or force anyhting. Do this and perhaps you will be a happy builder enjoying the reward that is a screaming killing machine!

Low-cost price tag, good features, operates as wanted, and stays cool. Only one X16 speed PCI-E slot, could use more space, and as other talked about it doesnt go all the way to typical ATX standoffs It could use much better placed fan connectors and\or much more of them.

Good board, but I don't like this slim ATX point...the board isn't wide sufficient to attain the 3rd column of risers, so you're dealing with 2+ inches of cantilever. It wouldn't be a huge deal except that the RAM, 24 pin board power connectors, SATAs, IDA, and so on are all on that side....kinda makes me wonder if ASUS is cheaping out on us... I have tried fairly much every thing I can think of to repair the popping sound coming from my speakers. I bought two of these boards and only 1 has the problem. It's loud, it's annoying, but it's not enough for me to justify ripping my complete Computer apart to RMA :-( I'm hoping a later driver revision will totally remedy it, but who knows...I've installed other drivers, drivers straight from By means of, rerouting my speaker wire, trying diverse ports, making use of AC97 instead of HD Audio (and generating certain BIOS settings match) and no dice...nevertheless LOUD pops sometimes...read lots of forums with equivalent complaints and no sure fire fix. I have generally gone with ASUS....considering that back in the Cyrix 586 days. I might try anything new next time. I am not a hardcore gamer, and I chose not to be low cost about my CPU, so I didn't require to unlock something. I mostly stick with them for their quality & durability. My 10 year old A7N8X-E is still kickin
