Pros: Cheap, ready for most upgrades.

This is a good board. My only issue as that their claim to have a 5 second (or whatever it was) boot time does not seem to work for me....at all. I did not read the fine print and their could be a reason for it. Other than that it is a great board and the visual bios is kinda nice.

Pros: Great valueIMMOU SupportPriceQuality
Comment:
Used this in my latest build to upgrade my esxi server.Paired with a FX-6300 and it works flawless.Full IMMOU support with esxi 5.5. The onboard nic is not supported in 5.5 or higher but this was a none issue for me.The bios offers lots of options for overclocking. Would definitely consider this board for a desktop build.Well worth the price.

Cons: Poor fit and finish on I/O shieldNot quite wide enough to be a full ATX board

Pros: Good budget boardWell laid out
Comment:
Bought this board to build a budget system as I had an old AM3 CPU on the shelf and didn't want to break the bank. Out of the box all appeared well but when mounting to the case it became apparent that the I/O shield was a few mm out of alignment to the ports behind. Some shimming was required to raise the board up enough to allow unrestricted access through the openings... A first for me. The other oddity encountered was that the board is not wide enough to use the third row of standoffs under the memory and ATX Power sockets. The board cantilevers out off the middle standoffs and could suffer damage if care is not taken when pressing on it to plug in various bits and pieces. Other than that, happy with my purchase.

Cons: It was broken when I got it...

Pros: It does work well and I havent had any problems yet...
Comment:
Ok first off, I ordered this thing awhile back and it takes them more than 10 days to get to me(Which is really ridiculous no matter what option of shipping I select!). SECOND, it was broken when I got it! The heat sync above the proccessing unit was broken off, this is sickening especially how this is my first item I have ever bought from NCIX (AND MOST CERTAINLY MY LAST!). Next time you guys ship out a package you should CHECK THE MERCHANDISE before checking your wallets... Luckily I found a fix for it 2 days later and fixed the heat sync. The thing that makes me mad is that I waited SO LONG for my $100 package to come in, and a piece of it is broken off. And then you wanted me to RMA it! WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS JUST TO GET MY ITEM! Let me just put this out there, you guys will not receive another visit/penny from me off your website...

Comment:
This is a great little budget board, has tons of value packed into an affordable pricepoint.Reliably overclocked my FX-8320 up over 4.6, but anything over that was too much for this boards VRMs to handle.Have upgraded to the Sabertooth 990FX Rev 2.0, and am sitting happy at 5.0ghz on the FX-8320.Will likely build another system for a relative based around this board.

Cons: Could use SLI support instead of just xfire

Pros: Inexpensive for the feature set, lots of expandility, easy visual bios.
Comment:
The motherboard on my HTPC went (pretty sure it was ESD shutdowns with my Nmedia case killed it), decided to use an ATX Antec one case as they are a safe bet to not have issues. Switched to this ATX board.Super smooth assembly/setup. Didn't have one issue with it, Windows detected the right SATA drives on the right ports (so no Windows trying to creat a second partition on the wrong hard drive), FAN headers and SATA ports are in good locations. Whole board layout is great. Only one minor thing, the 12v power connector is a little close to the top fan in the Antec One case. Didn't think it'd connect without removing the fan, but it did just fine.Would definitely buy this board again if I'm doing an AMD build. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-09-13 05:58 AM

This board is extremely impressive for the price point. You have an upgrade option from Phenom II Any fx processor. Memory support is great. As always, Asus is my favorite vendor for motherboards. Everything stays very cool (esp the vrms) from the sinks. Build quality is amazing on this board for the price.
