Excellent board for your fundamental personal computer create. Everything powered up and worked fine from the get go and continues to. It was fairly effortless to get all my components installed and get this issue secured in to the case. None I'm sad to see the recent string of adverse critiques on this board. For you standard personal computer build (something for surfing the net, facebook, netflix, generating documents, etc) it's the excellent fit.

It posted, had no hiccups whatsoever except one particular modest problem! The PCI-E slot doesn't detect my GTX 285 GPU. The card powers, the fan is spinning, but there's no image made except for on the onboard video connection. Attempted another card, and it nevertheless didn't function. Apparently my PCI-E slot is out. SIGH. I seriously don't want to spend 1ǚth the cost of the board to ship it back for RMA. I could just consume this a single. =/ Manufacturer Response:Thank you for employing Foxconn products. This mothebroard can support PCIe two. vedio card. GTX 285 GPU is not compatibility list. So it has not been validated with your motherboard. Which means it may or might not be compatible. Could you try a different VGA card that is in compatibility list? For much more data, please refer to our net:http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_spec.aspx?ID=en-us0000489Any other query in the future, please speak to us freely. All in one particular board. Supports my Athlon II x2. Knock on wood everything works. Dropped in two X 2GB DDR3 and this small board hums suitable along. Foxconns internet site was useful with the compatability for the board. None so far. Despite the fact that I couldn't get my NIC operating at initially. My laptop lastly bit the dust so I was hunting to make a nice spending budget desktop to go along with a houseful of Netbooks. I wanted to get it off the ground for below 踰 so the onboard video was a plus. The BIOS was a small difficult at initial, but playing about with it I ultimately got it how I wanted. I bought two of these to run as tiny home servers. Linux (Ubuntu) loaded straight up and almost everything worked. All hardware was recognized and configured really very easily. Windows Server 2003 loaded, but I had to get XP drivers for some items (like the network). Each machines run incredibly stable and have had no troubles at all. I did have to fight a small with Windows Server 2003, but I expected that because a) it is an older OS and b) this isn't really a server motherboard. When combined with an Athlon X2 processor and two or four GB of memory these make nice tiny educational (home education) servers. Each of mine are running as internet servers (apache and tomcat on Linux and IIS and WSS on Windows). While they are not below a heavy load, they surely give me a place to play about.

Well i come across the price tag per overall performance for this board to be fantastic. Plugged it in and it performs. Foxconn you need a far better web page. It requires hours to download something from the Foxconn site and thats if its not down due to the fact of too significantly traffic. I will not get yet another Foxconn solution due to horrible help on website for drivers. Also, disc that came with the motherboard did not have the right drivers. Seriously!? Also, no assistance for overclocking at all, which was expected but nonetheless disappointing. Cost to overall performance is great. If you have an further บ to ฟ lying about purchase ASUS.

No stability concerns.Constructing a budget gamer with Radeon HD 5670, just ordered the video card and 1tb HDD. Good motherboard, effortless to deal with. Not actually a con, but a surprise. See Other Thoughts. Immediately after installing Windows XP, the front-panel card reader on the motherboard ended up with the name C: drive, the optical drive was labeled D, and the internal tough drive was labeled E. Never ever saw anything like that ahead of! I removed the connections from the motherboard front panel and re-installed Windows, getting the preferred outcome of the internal hard drive obtaining the C: label. Following OS was installed, I attached the front-panel connections and the card reader is now labeled E. Whew!

Price tag. Operates as advertised-no troubles other than lackluster BIOs hence 4 egg rating-but then this is a fundamental mobo. Foxconn makes decent products that operate effectively. Has all basics for mom and pop computing. Place a Regor on it and be happy. Bland BIOS does not provide much-but it is a low cost board. RAM slots close to each and every other so some RAM may possibly trigger problems if heat spreaders are massive. Worked OK with ADATA DDR3 1333. Spend a small much more cash on other Foxconn mobos if you want performance, but for the $ you can't go incorrect with this board. My third Foxconn mobo-no concerns with any of them.

Excellent board. Does motherboard stuff OK. So far so very good. See Other Thoughts. BEWARE! These boards are shipped with a BIOS that says "Engineering Only Not for Production" If you are not comfy flashing the BIOS, DO NOT Buy. This board was rushed to production. Only time will inform if they missed anything else.

Great Board for Spending budget Builds, Has DDR3, Only has one particular sata cable Make positive you order an extra sata cable if you have a tough drive and disk drive going into your build. The motherboard comes with a sata to molex power adapter, but just a single actual sata cable. I don't consider this is adequate to knock an egg off due to the fact it's listed in the description.

Installation went devoid of a hitch. Paired with an AMD Sempron 140 and 2gb of critical DDR3 and Windows 7 64 bit and this negative boy is operating smooth. No drivers needed to be loaded for Win 7 installed every little thing. Most painless installation in a even though. Also, on needs a four pin 12v connector producing it compatible with older PSUs. Quite a few new boards now require 8pin 12v cables. Older video chipset. Only 2 memory slots. Good budget board. Native video chipset not best for HTPC but can very easily add a ษ silent 4350 with HDMI card and this will then serve as a decent HTPC board.
