Cons: Only 2 PCIE, cant use tripple slot cards.

Pros: Great Overclocking, Feature Rich Bios, LucidLogix, Fast
Comment:
I just bought this board from Xmanrigger. Moving from 1366 I can say its worth it. Huge gains in Benchmarks. Overclocking was a brease, 45 seconds to hit 4500Mhz stable. Less than 2 mins to figure out 4800 and 5000. Almost takes the fun out of it.Highly recommend this board, Decent price, ROG, Very Fast.

Cons: Although there are 2X 16x PCIe, if you want to go SLI, it drops to 2X 8x PCIe.

Pros: Nice looking board. Small form factor with Big Bang. Loaded with features for a m-atx board. Great for overclocking. Stable clocks at 5.0GHZ.
Comment:
I bought this board solely for the purpose of running a 2600K and clocking the s*** out of it to see what all the hype is about. Well, believe the hype.I slapped a 2600K in it with 8GB Dominator GT DDR3-2000 and had no problem hitting clocks of 5.0GHZ and above.

Cons: Small, not enough space between Video cards. Can't put a crossfire of HD 6950 for example.

Pros: Price. Easy Bios use. Easy Overclock with the good hardware.
Comment:
Great product, works very well. Easy Bios setup. The motherboard is smaller then the Maximus 2 formula for exemple, so don't have enough space to put big GPU Cards in crossfire. Great gamer board when you have only 1 Video Card, but 1 HUGE Card. (Running i7 4.6 O.C. With HD 6950, it's a monster)

Cons: -Had initial problems with detecting USB flash drive in EZ Flash (however somehow randomly detected after)-The bois options are a nightmare, they are under explained and there are so many options.-Aftermarket CPU cooler mount was a bit of a pain to install being right against top motherboard heat sink (but didn't actually cause issue).-There seems to be a voltage drop  when Speedstep boosts clock speed on all 4 cores

Pros: -Works great, however flashed bios with EZ Flash before loading windows.-Easy EZ flash is a great tool which means no needing DOS or a windows program for bios updating. Just copy the bios file to a flash drive before hand-Wireless mouse worked in bios menu which was certainly a shocker-Easy to reset bios settings without battery removal, power off than reboot often detects the overclock failure or use the included on motherboard press button (awesome, no more battery removal)-Can run at much higher ram speeds than most Intel other chip-sets are capable of.-Has a front end USB 3.0 header for a case that has a front USB 3.0 connector
Comment:
I've built and tweaked my own system through bios settings all the time since as far back as 1994 and never have I seen so many tweaking options with so little explanation of what the settings do. Not only was their little explanation but there were repeated options for the same thing making the situation even more confusing than it should be.If it wasn't for the messy and overly cluttered and rather confusing bios even to an experienced custom builder like myself and the odd before windows install USB stick detection issue I would call this the perfect board for it's options and price. Some options go beyond expectations like the overclock boot failure detection or the bios reset switch which is easy to press included on the motherboard and being able to use a mouse within the bios menu. The beyond expectations options are what kept me from docking off a star for the messy and confusing bios menu tweaking options. Though for someone that really reads up on what all the bios options are you'll have more tweaking options than any other board out there has. This board also allows for higher ran speed than any other chip-set I've read up on. For the price and options and being more tweak-able and allowing higher ram speeds this is an unbeatable deal if you can handle the limited to 3 total PCI express slots with no regular PCI.USB 3.0 slots at back end and a front USB 3.0 header is a plus. Cons: -No voltage fan control on cpu fan header and no lower then 60% speed. Not a con for most users.-Somewhat picky about memory, best to get from the QVL-X-fi MB2 software is not as good as my Audigy 2zs was, but this is subjective

Pros: +Lots of features in a small board+Good list of bios features.
Comment:
Got this board so i could get rid of that hulking case on my desk. This packs all the features you could want and overclocks well. The board was a bit picky with memory, so watch that and check the QVL on the Asus site. One thing I would like you be fan settings under 60% in the bios, it just does not go any lower and does not voltage control the cpu fan headers(PWM only). All in all a very complete board.

Cons: Price is in the Full ATX board territory but it's really minor since this board has so many features.Wish it had a PCI slot so I could re use my old sound card.Core voltage drop  at Load although most boards do this.

Pros: Nice looks. Stable while overclocked. Excellent UEFI Bios implementation by Asus. Two USB 3.0 ports. Right angle Sata ports so they don't interfere with large GPUs. Love the Q-connector Asus includes. Love the onboard start and reset buttons so one can use it on open test bed before putting everything in case.

Nice looks. Stable while overclocked. Excellent UEFI Bios implementation by Asus. Well worth the extra price compared to some other mobos that still use the old style bios.I7 2600KThis mobo8gb gskill ram6870PC V354

Cons: manuals could be betterthey put in a cap on the 2nd 4 pin cpu connector , it made me loose a couple of days to understand what was wrong with my build

Pros: micro atxx8/x8 multiple gpuz68 chipset
Comment:
good motherboard , just don't forget to remove the covered 4 pin connector .

Cons: No DVI out, X-Fi software only, no powered eSATA, weak ahci performance

Pros: Lots of I/O options, good overclocking support, no legacy connectors, good looking, UEFI bios
Comment:
So far a pretty solid motherboard. I'm using a tweaked CPU Level-Up setting to run my 2500K at a stable 4.6GHZ. Everything is working great, except for the underwhelming ahci performance, which is likely a driver issue.

Cons: Not getting that high of an overclock, but what can you expect on a micro atx board?

Pros: Micro ATX so it's smaller Looks good, easy overclocking BIOsLike the start and restart buttons on the board
Comment:
Bought this to go with the i7 2600k CPU.

Cons: - A little pricey for an mATX board.- Not a Sound Blaster X-Fi. A Cheap Realtek Onboard audio DAC is coupled with Creative Software (they don't even make the effort of hiding this anymore by no longer using the X-Fi sticker stop the chip).

Pros: - Looks Great- Easy to Overclock and Great Bios Software from Asus (Can use your mouse)- Heatsinks on the board look great and look/feel high quality- USB 3.0 and SATA3 Support.
Comment:
Overall It is a satisfactory board but when you take it all into consideration it is not worth the price. When using two cards in CrossfireX/SLI the PCIe x16 slots will operate only in x8 mode each. In other words this is a relatively cheap board feature wise but spruced up with eye candy and flare in order to sell at a premium price. If you ask me this board doesn't belong in the ROG series.

Cons: none

Pros: Compact, looks amazing, simple yet advanced bios, easy over clocking, its Asus
Comment:
Bought this to go with my new i5-2500k CPU and they both work amazingly. Haven't had any problems, but I have only over clocked to 4.2Ghz since I don't have good cooling. The motherboard is also really small, and it saves a lot of space in my case, but it can still hold 2 video cards!

Cons: None

Pros: TOP µATX motherboard, easy OC, lots of features & extras in the box
Comment:
One change in BIOS and you are q 4.6GHz, simple as that. Haven't tried higher as that was enough for me but you probably know this board offers all the OC option needed if you're already looking for this motherboard. This is my first RoG motherboard (was dreaming of those each time I was seeing them announced) and for the price I believe it's a very solid deal. Yet I cannot be happier. I'm glad it's ASUS behind all this, always liked ASUS for motherboards. It's my 3rd µATX board, never I will go back to ATX. This one is as feature rich as his bigger brother and I don't even use all the feature. It's nice designed and nice looking too.
